Agreed. I work on shift alone. Backup is about 30 min away (As far as county goes) You learn to live with it and practice more Officer Safety.

lived in soldotna alaska, was hanging with some people in middle school when one of my “friends” threw a huge fit over his stolen longboard and pulled bearmace out of his backpack and sprayed me and another with it. an hour long shower, put eye drops in, was miserable the entire day
The way these troopers handle situations always in a much better manner than most cops

Ok, the cop is yelling at the guy to get on his stomach but he had his hands holding the guy where he couldn't even turn on his stomach, so he really wasn't resisting, he just couldn't..but glad the guy was caught!
The guy was sticking his legs out in a way that he couldn’t be rolled over on his stomach while he fought to get back up. He was literally told to put his feet out. Ergo, resisting.
The cop was holding him to keep him from getting up.

True. However simply refusing to engage in conversation and walking away isn't reasonable suspicion. And when the police officer ordered him to stop, that was not a lawful order considering the fact him walking was not illegal.

I am a cop and we haven't had someone shot in this county or the surrounding counties by law enforcement in 2 years
