I was expecting you to tell me something about his origins, after all, unlike other fire races, she has a humanoid and even flesh-like body, but he is the most knowledgeable about fire after the Fire Princess.
I wish Scorcher returned in the Elements mini series. Like imagine when Finn enters the fire Kingdom Scorcher who’s corrupted spots him and realizes him and Jake are still alive and tries to not only kill him but also try to Kill the Ice King in a fit of rage after realizing he has been tricked for years at that point (im pretty sure Finn was still a kid when Scorcher tried to kill him and Jake)
Honestly, i like the ideia of him having no place in the world. He is there to kill and he accepts it. Technically, finn and jake were dead for some time because ice king was scared of him, so he kindof killed them. Him having a fit of rage goes kinda against his calm nature
@@JubileeCaptcha Im mean in this theoretical scenario he would have been corrupted since remember I mention this possibility during the elements mini series plus you know how hot headed Finn was when he became Fire Finn. So for Scorcher I imagine it would be a quiet rage sort of thing

_"I hired a Hitman, not a Fireman!"_ I'll never forget Ice King's greatest line. The Scorcher is so mysterious that we may never see him again, not even in future episodes.
I like to imagine that Scorcher is a past elemental fire but at some point laid dormant and woke up long after the mushroom wars or he was a former assassin in the fire kingdom but got banished when he got a contract to assassinate the King
That sounds like a recipe for disaster. What may even counts as attempting to hurt you according to Scorcher ? If you and you and your friend greet each other with a fist bump, Scorcher may interpret this as if you are fighting each other, therefore he is trying to hurt, which means that now your friend is now going to die. If your annoying little brother throws a paper ball at you as a joke, may Scorcher interpret this as an attack towards your persona or an attempt to harm you, therfore burn your brother to ashes. If you have a discussion with your mother and she shouts at you, may Scorcher believe she is threatening your live and therefore she might be a danger for you, which from Scorcher's perspective might mean she must die. If someone walking or running in a public space accidentally bumps on you, that person might get executed by your bodyguard right there at that same spot a few seconds after the incident. Say goodbye to practicing any sport, in soccer, you may accidentally end up running against someone or someone could accidentally kick you, in rugby or american football they actually have to tackle you to avoid you from getting the ball to the scoring area, therefore death will come to someone, in baseball, when they throw you a ball at you, Scorcher may see it as someone trying to hurt you by hurling a projectile, therefore, someone's gonna die, and let's not even talk about practicing martial arts, since even a little friendly sparring practice with you potentially means dying to your bodyguard.

Fire elemental/smoke wizard who just so happen to kill for free because he's like it. That's what I assumed at first then I noticed he just left after seeing if both fin and Jake had no pulse to make sure they're dead. judging from his posture he mostly works with short people which is interesting, because later on in the series he sees them again only to keep it business so he's really chill too
Wouldn't it be interesting if there was a correlation between his powers and the contracts? Like he made a bargain to have his crazy powers but in exchange he has to fulfill contracts he's been made aware of. Sort of like "Would you kindly" from Bioshock.
him knowing exactly where they are right away would be cool for his character but.....literally everyone knows Finn and Jake, and they live in a huge treehouse in the middle of a giant field, you can see their house through the window from the room ice king signed the contract in
The Scorcher could easily body the incarnation of the blue comet, which has made heroes across the ages. He can also body the Ice King, a human superpowered with the 'secrets of ice and snow', and his crown made with the technology of one of the eldest ice elementals. Scorcher could also probably body the candy kingdom, as he could just turn into fumes if they try to attack him.
Considering he has the psychic power of detecting targets, he is magical by default and is either a tremendously strong mage (on par with Ice King) or a demon of some sorts.
Idk to me he seemed like he has sooo much power that he doesnt show him best especially when ice king hired a hitman to stop him scorcher literally just sliced him and then continued his business with ease...plus the ability to transform into smoke making you immortal basically and using it to suffocate your enemies is one special ability..he doesnt really show up in the fire city and flame princess and all and has abilities thay no one in the flame kingdom possesses...i just wonder what if he was trained by a special entity or given power to or he is a special entity
Idk that other hitman was kind of a loser though like 3 out of the dozens of lasers he fired were barely in the conceivable general direction of his target
@@Alex-kc7tp maybe the droid thought anyone who he attacks will start running or moving Soo he starts shooting all around him to make sure if he moves the laser hits him...idk
I mean, there's ice ninja stuff the ice king has that Finn and Jake were able to learn from a book without a teacher. Maybe something similar would exist for fire.
@@MOE-pm7ep ehh, maybe, but i don't think so. flame people are either made entirely of fire, or partially with a black, coal-like inner core. they don't have the dark red flesh like demons do. also flame people don't really have the same powers as scorcher
I never realized how similar he is to a character in my comic and I wonder now if I unintentionally was inspired from it. He's called the Mind Travelor and is also an assassin via contract...only difference is replaces their consciousness effectively killing the person while keeping his identity a mystery
That’s actually a pretty cool idea for an assassin. Maybe he has taken an oath of not killing physically, so he basically has to kill via wiping their minds. Also, I think the name Hallucinogen is a better name, because his targets think that he is just a hallucination.
@diablos7111 Technically not a hallucination. See the mind traveler has been around for such a long time that not even he knows his origins, let alone the world. He has no physical body, so when you are talking to the mind traveler, you're talking to his consciousness but in his previous victims body. Once he goes to a new body, his previous body drops dead and is presumed dead by natural causes (even though they could have been dead for months to years). Only the person that ordered the hit knows the owner of the body is really even dead. This forever conceals his identity while also taking out the person of interest
That was my theory… that perhaps he’s from “hell” or the nethersphere and is working to obtain his freedom by completing contracts, or maybe he works for Hunson Abadeer to collect souls. He’s definitely something spectral and “demonic” but the specifics are a mystery.

I think Cartoon Network decided to make scorcher a hitman only loyal to him self is because if he was a fire kingdom guard PB would not have been able to over power them at all unless peppermint butler went head to head with him
I've been watching your content it amazes me how much work you put in to make your content as good as it is despite your platform cap-cut not being the greatest nor having the best editing tools keep up the good work :)
6:10 you should've mentioned how when Ice king gets back, Gunter and some other penguin are being offered a contract meaning either they asked for it or scorchers offering, either way who is it that these penguins want dead???
Him knowing the limits to his capabilities is definitely something I’m inclined to believe. I imagine he later found out Finn and Jake were still alive but they had gotten stronger over the course of the series so he’s not sure if he could’ve taken them down by the time it was discovered. Had he appeared in elements Finn’s Flame shield would’ve already negated his main means of attack.
In a theoretical battle the lich would probably win with his ability to make his enemies fall, however if that doesn't work on scorcher then the lich would get obliterated
Since scorcher possesses many powers with 1 being able to become actual smoke which no flame elemental can do surprisingly which makes me believe he is more special than the rest..I believe that he probably has more power than what he shows he can fly and make giant fireballs with ease he also always shows his least powerful attacks...I wouldn't be surprised if he probably is immune to mind control or any of lichs powers I believe he could literally come up with smart ways to try to defeat lich and he might be able but again the lich always comes back Soo it's just a matter of time really
it would too funny if it actually worked or it goes the classic lich fashion. one scenario would be they battle and he loses but he is not actually dead. Then he comes back at another time and scorcher does lose or have a hard time.
We should go off of what Scorcher has already done, and given how the Lich canonically exists in every single universe after the crossover incident, yeah no. The lich literally had crystal clear memory of what it was like BEFORE TIME. He is so much higher than Scorcher on so many levels, the only real reason the lich loses against Finn and Jake is because of magical things that can trigger a weakness, such as life giving goop or the Maid, which is specially made for getting rid of interdimensional crisis's.
@@ledoyedo5483LMAO, Maybe like read a couple of their comics or actually watch the show, you think The lich only has that one ability? Kid please don't make bold claims like "the lich gets obliterated because I have no idea what I'm talking about"
I just found it funny he eventually did turn around when ice king told him someone got hit in the boingloins lol even scorcher would’ve wanted to see that
I remember when i was younger i had a theory about Scorcher because i found it weird how he was such a strong fire elemental he is to just be a random dude, we had fire princess who was the strongest and then her dad, in one episode when Finn and jake go to the fire kingdom Fire King mentions how he had a brother that he "put out" implying death, my theory is that Scorcher would actually be that brother, now the only "proof" of that is that Scorcher is so strong and that altough he is a fire user he doesn't actually have any perpetual flames on his body like every other fire person we see, so this would be him being "put out" but instead of killing him it just made him into this weaker state
It's worth noting that in one of the episodes, you can see a wanted poster of the scorcher in the candy kingdom. So it might be possible the fire assassin has a bit more personal grudges with the bubblegum than simply being another Job
I mean, he would be really useful if they just hires him to deals with the Lich, but the Devs either realize that: 1. Scorch is too powerful, so he could kill the Lich easily. 2. The Lich is undying, so he kill the Lich once, Lich resurrect and he either kill him again or contract expires after each kills. 3. Scorch could be kills or converted by the Lich, either as a Zombies (he could die, who know) or actually side with the Lich at the potential to kills more peoples.
Princess Bubblegum Should have hired him to Take Out THE LICH, even if THE LICH took out Scorcher instead at lease no one could hire him to take you out in the future. Win Win either way.
Something that doesn’t make sense to me is that he can find a target anywhere by only having a name signed on a contract. He can find but can’t detect if they are alive with the same powers Also how much of a coincidence that they’ve never encountered each other in years

@@ledoyedo5483LMAO, Maybe like read a couple of their comics or actually watch the show, you think The lich only has that one ability? Kid please don't make bold claims like "the lich gets obliterated because I have no idea what I'm talking about"
I like how his arms are so long they just lag behind him when he's running
I just found it funny he eventually did turn around when ice king told him someone got hit in the boingloins lol even scorcher would’ve wanted to see that
Scorcher was a badass!
This guy was cool! Great video.
this is my favorite episode of all time, i love the hit episode, its hilarious
I remember when i was younger i had a theory about Scorcher because i found it weird how he was such a strong fire elemental he is to just be a random dude, we had fire princess who was the strongest and then her dad, in one episode when Finn and jake go to the fire kingdom Fire King mentions how he had a brother that he "put out" implying death, my theory is that Scorcher would actually be that brother, now the only "proof" of that is that Scorcher is so strong and that altough he is a fire user he doesn't actually have any perpetual flames on his body like every other fire person we see, so this would be him being "put out" but instead of killing him it just made him into this weaker state
Great video 👍🔝
Ngl scorcher was badass. Reminds me of Joshua Graham cause of the bandage and fire. Really hoped he had more screentime.
It's worth noting that in one of the episodes, you can see a wanted poster of the scorcher in the candy kingdom. So it might be possible the fire assassin has a bit more personal grudges with the bubblegum than simply being another Job
I mean, he would be really useful if they just hires him to deals with the Lich, but the Devs either realize that:
Actually making a story where Scorcher returns and demonstrates exactly how he is Ooo's deadliest hitman alongside other recurring villains.
Imagine if the guy spoke once "MoSt PeOpLe SaY tHeY aRe In It FoR tHe MoNaY, I'M iN iT cOuRsE iT sOmEtHiNg I lIkE tO dO."
Scorcher is just the lost sinner before the events of dark souls 2
Just imagine he had a fight with prime Billy
I'd love to see you cover Dragon Ball like you cover AT, the series has as much room to speculate and explain the lore as AT
"Hey, look over there! Someone just got hit in the boing loings."
Great videos, how about a video on Goliad from the adventure time series next?
I would have loved to see a battle between Scorcher and Flame Princess.
Lets gooooo one of my fav characters in adventure time
first sponsorship? big W
I saw the thumbnail and was like
"Who the hell is this DLC ass character"
Its Smoke from Mortal Kombat in Ooo
i love scorcher so much
Princess Bubblegum Should have hired him to Take Out THE LICH, even if THE LICH took out Scorcher instead at lease no one could hire him to take you out in the future. Win Win either way.
I mean he a real one for doing a job that effectively and changing his services at the WORD.
Good for you to get a sponser true local weirdo
Keep up the good work ❤
im too tired to think of anyhting creative to say but great video as always
the first time i saw joshua graham this guy come up in my mind
Your videos are awesome!!!!
bro is a killing machine 🗿
Fr 🗿
Something that doesn’t make sense to me is that he can find a target anywhere by only having a name signed on a contract. He can find but can’t detect if they are alive with the same powers
Also how much of a coincidence that they’ve never encountered each other in years
Boingloings
Somebody got hit in them
That VPN is as relentless as scorcher!
This episode was hella funny
Aye yo my guy out here getting sponsors get your bag my guy
He does look pretty sick.
