I love Finn’s occasional autotune voice cause it’s just such a stupid detail from season one that they decided to just run with for the entire show

I personally like the scene where they're trying to make fire it always makes me laugh. Especially how Jake essentially is the one to start the fire but is blinded by the lightning so when he walks back on screen he just assumes that Finn got the fire going. I mean that scene is just perfect. He has a lot of funny scenes.

They wrote siblings so well! That moment gave me vibes of not being able to cuss out my siblings because our parents were there so we all just said really sweet things to each other with a heavy undertone of violence

I like how the series showcases very early on just how strong Finn can be. First off when he single-handedly kills the Lich with a fucking sweater (at that point if you sealed off his well of power he'd basically be gone until some other poor sap fell into the well like PB did when Ice King threw her in.), and when Goliad, a mind-reading creature was bested by him due to his sheer will alone to out-do her in a mental battle long enough for her to get distracted.
Even though it was a struggle for him, Finn was outright resisting a brainwashing and a mind read in real time and we just didn't think much about it at the time.
This is one of the few kids shows where letting the characters say “fuck” just every once in a while would be so funny and not needlessly edgy. Like I’m so sure one of the storyboard artists complained that they couldn’t think of a better line to describe a moment than “what the fuck” but they just aren’t allowed to use swears. So tragic

They’ve made so many alternatives they had enough to make it viable
It’s tragic that people had to be creative with the language? I think it’s funnier and more iconic this way.

This was the show I'd be watching on tv as a preteen and teen, and my mom would walk, in watch a scene that was funny for no reason, and spend the next 5-7 years quoting said scene at random moments.

I've barely watched any of Adventure Time, so l'm glad l could still laugh at these out of context. ^_^
This show had plenty of scenes of friends just being silly with friends. Did it move the plot along? Not exactly, but it sure did make the characters all that more lovable and real to us.
