Hi Jimmy great videos. I had issues with a Dtec Accord a few years ago. I now have a HRV 1.6 Diesel and im looking for something like this, have you used it on a Honda HRV so i can view all DPF information. Thanks in advance.
Would this tablet let you recalibrate the throttle body on. Range Rover sport (as per your other vids)?? Also will it work with same functions on RR sport ? Cheers

@@sohailchaudhry2898 phone calls have been disabled as too many people call for advice when it's a booking number. I do have 100's of emails to respond to per day so there is a delay and some do get lost

I’m guessing that it won’t let you reset the service interval on the post 2018 Land Rovers with Pathfinder software? Land Rover seem to have made it impossible to reset the service indicator without access to Pathfinder 🤬
The interface is noddy compared to the Euro Tab 3. But for the amateur mechanic it looks like a reasonably good tool for the money. Are you sure that you get a lifetime of updates, and not just 2 years?
Just get the Xtool A30M lifetime updates for free. It does all makes of cars and full systems scan with bidirectional controls. It the most powerful scanner for the price $200 or $180 on sale. I have mine now for over a year and i love the thing. I'm gonna get the Xtool d7s or d8 when i have the money.
Watched a few videos about Xtool scanners but on several of them it appears they are designed more for the US market and US vehicles and don't necessarily work on European/ Japanese vehicles so well.
@@felixalbion They work on all cars from all round the world buddy. I'm in South Africa and down here we get cars from everywhere usa,japan,eu,germany,india so we get basically everything down here. The Xtool works well most of the time but i do run into problems sometimes and have to us another scanner. But all scanners are like this. Even an Autel sometimes won't work then i have to get my friends topdon or my xtool to finish the job. Thats just how these things are buddy even the best ones have problems.
@@leroyjohnson4973 Do what i did bro. I emailed there help and support people. The lady was extremely nice and helpful. She took all my details and noted what was the issue and said she'll get back to me. And 3 weeks later nothing happened. I needed to do a tps reset on my honda. I was mad as hell and was planning to sell the the. Then about a month later they send out an update and it was fixes. That same day she emails me back saying sorry it took so long but it's fixed now. So yea they are a goos company. I'll stick with them. But also have another brand tool on hand just in case.

How has this land Rover covered over 900km between regen's? Normal driving will not clear soot from a dpf as the temperature dies not get high enough. My Skoda superb 2.0 tdi regen's every 150-200 miles.
These are my cars. Land Rover 3.0 runs very clean in my opinion. I've never seen a 3.0 DPF get badly clogged or damaged by melting or even ash build up
Thanks again for this demonstration video Jimmy, I have a 2008 VW Touareg that needs a DPF reset to clear fault code and stop the glow plug flashing, can this tool perform such task? How do u compare this tool with the ThinkDiag 2 for DPF's?

I currently have an Xtool D8 and it can't do DPF resets on my 2008 VW Touareg V6 TDI 3.0 engine
