- I was determined to find some project pieces on our most recent junk run, and we definitely succeeded! We scored some cute things and managed to find quite a bit this go around!!

Rachel…don’t sell yourself short on that longeberger because it is pricey! I collect anything longeberger and you might just be surprised. I see many remakes, revamps and just plain dolled ups coming up with what you showcased tonight. Can’t wait to see you work your magic. Dough bowls are very popular in the stitching world. Stitchers put small projects in them and cycle out finished stitching through the seasons. But the little tables…let me tell you that I have seen folks put those in their Christmas trees and add decor to match their tree decorations. The things going on in the world of home decor leaves quite an imprint on the mind I tell you. And the fold out planter stand…I see village pieces on that at Christmas. I’ll wait now to see what you choose to do to make these items precious and collectible for your customers. It’ll be good!!!:):):)

:) I was definitely pleased with the pieces I found that I can use for projects this go-around!! And I never thought about using the fold out plant stand for a Christmas village, but it would absolutely work! :) I love little pedestal tables. I am always on the lookout for them - never thought about putting my Christmas tree on one, though, lol. I looked it up and sure enough, I found a bunch of pictures of people using small round tables to display their trees! Amazing the things people come up with sometimes!! :) Anyway, thank you so much!! :)
Enjoyed your great haul Rachel. So glad for you, I know its been slim pickings for you this year. My 2 neighbors ladies and I went to our local Thrift Store on Monday. I was shocked @ the high prices. I told another customer I was going to start calling it Macy's. The dough bowl and round table tied for my favorite. C U Friday. 😊

Rachel: I have a set of those brass angels. I think they are from the 60’s. Mine have been packed away for years. Thinking about polishing them makes me tired even before I start to grab the Brasso. Haha. They are very good looking. I happen to think that swing out iron piece will help you in merchandising other items. Painting it will help. That is a good display piece.

My hubby doesn't mind the thrifting, and he's gotten pretty darn good at it, lol. He prefers garage and yard sales, though, so it's nice that the season is finally here again! :) Thank you!

😊Rachel..the Longaberger pitcher can sell from what I've seen online[ just like the one you got] from $28 -$48. I got the same one for just a few bucks thrifted- but no design on it and mine is in creme color. Great thrifty!! minds think alike.

Rachel, first of all, great haul! You scored some wonderful pieces and can't wait to see all the beautiful things you do with them. My favorite piece was the "soup tureen". It caught my attention immediately. Absolutely love that piece. To me it was a piece that would seamlessly go from season to season using moss, florals, pumpkins, snow display, nests, you name it. There were quite a few things in your haul that I could easily see fitting into my home decor. Love the little tables, it will be interesting to see what all you do with them. Loved the ceramic pumpkin. Love to find sturdy pieces like that vs foam or paper mache. Although those work also. The multi level plant stand was a bargain. That is going to fit into your nursery perfectly. Hope you have a wonderful week and will see you on Friday. Can't wait to see what is in store for us. I have a dresser that I need to make over and I am looking for ideas. hint hint LOL
I love that black metal "tureen", too. It really is a unique find and I can't wait to dress it up for the season!! The ceramic pumpkin was definitely a surprise - it's so nice to find those things off season when they haven't been marked up a bunch! And I can't wait to have some time to work on my furniture pieces - I have so many sitting and waiting to be dressed up at the moment, lol. I do have some new products from Redesign on their way though, and I am hoping to glean a little creative inspiration once I have a chance to see them in person . . . :) Thank you so much!! :)
Nice haul, you got some really nice things. I do have to say that the prices are much lower than where I am at. Sometimes I just bite the bullet & buy it if I really like it. I got my order the other day and thought that it was so nice that you put a little thank you in it, it was a pleasant surprise. Happy crafting & I can’t wait to see what you do with some of these items.

I really like the items in your shop and how you decorate them. But I don’t have any painted
pieces in my house. I would prefer the candlestick be left as is. The yellow pitcher would be better without paint too. Some of your finds that are worth more could be sold on your channel. I also like the idea of you putting together a couple gifts to go. For the customer who’s going to visit a friend and wants to take something to them. Just a thought. I live in Dallas so trying to put a gift together can be really challenging going to various stores. It could be a candle and votive holder. Something $14 to $20.
You could open the gift bag and put tissue paper in it and set the items in front of it. Just a random thought. Take care
