- In todays video GOODWILL THRIFT WITH ME & THRIFT HAUL a lady Shopping totally missed these items so I grabbed them up. I’ve been searching for a while when out Thrifting for some of these and I am so excited I finally found some.

So, I went to a Deseret Industries in St. George, Utah and as I reached out and touched an item, a woman came up behind me and grabbed it out of my hand while yelling at her husband for putting it back on the shelf when she wanted it!!! Thrifting is getting dangerous these days!!!
This is the same thrift store where people line up before it opens and then run to prearranged spots and load their cart with items for resale! What happened to donations for people who need financial help???
I would of snatched it back,and reported her to the supervisors.
There is a thrift store near me who separated into two stores; the regular store with thrift prices for people in need and a “boutique” thrift store next door with resellers’ items at much higher prices. That’s a great idea for a true charitable organization!
Funny how we all love certain decor and happily pass over other things. 🥰
I am a “reseller” (have a Booth in a Dallas Antique Mall), but I also enjoy finding gifts for others and sometimes myself. I hope I never annoy anyone while shopping.

I used to be jealous of the Goodwills in your area because the prices were so good but l see they have caught up with my Goodwills. Some of those prices are ridiculous considering they pay nothing for their inventory. I do enjoy watching your videos and how you use your items.

Looks like a round barn. I have seen them sometimes in Indiana and also in New England.

Yes, it is a round barn. They can be found in every state.
As an elderly person on a fixed income, I am appalled at the prices at thrift stores these days. The resellers are making it financially impossible to find a new to me outfit, get a replacement scarf or buy a few toys for the grandkids to play with when they visit. Even finding a frame to display my granddaughters art work is very expensive.😢
I think it is dreadful that folk buy things from a thrift store and resell them for profit after all those little treasures were donated so that some folk with not a lot of money can find something for them to treasure. I have picked up a few things that have been more expensive if bought new. It makes me not want to donate when you have those resellers coming along and selling them again for high prices. It's just not right.
I pronounce that straw grassy stuff 'rah-fee-uh'. 😃 Julie, waiting and getting to see your videos is kinda like payday! Worth the wait!!Post a video when you can because you want to. It will better for everyone. Please show yourself some grace!! Blessings! 🤗

13:40 glass cutting board looks like a silo to me. 14:40 is raffia. I am thrilled for you that you found two frogs. I haven't seen any in ages. I have three that have been passed down in my family. One has an odd shape and I've never seen another like it. One my grandfather gave me in an arrangement in a Stanley Coffee can in 1972 and I still have the frog and can. He loved growing vegetables and flowers. I treasure my frogs.

I think that could be a red silo building on the glass cutting board... yes, it's raffia and great for many different kinds of crafts... awesome flower frogs find!! and yes, they are normally expensive and hard to find as a lot of ppl are collecting them now!

What I do as a re-saler. As I shop I just go ahead and put the items in my shopping cart and after I’m done, I find a nice chair to check them on eBay so as not yo block the shopping of others. But I also shop for gifts for others and items foe my garden as well. I love your explanations of things.

I use one green flower frog at Christmas for candy canes, and a clear one with heart lollipops for Valentine’s Day. The rest of the time I use one for my crochet hooks and another for markers on my desk. Fun trip. Thank you. 😊

Yay for the flower frogs! I love collecting those. They are difficult to find in my area and I’ve seen one priced as high as $35 😳 I’ve been lucky to find a few at a great price but I’m always on the lookout for them. ❤

I have flower frogs that belong to my grandmother and I have them displayed in one of her little small silver dishes that has a handle. It's probably a candy dish. So glad you found them and I look forward to an extra video!! And I am glad you want to keep it real. That's what I enjoy about the people I watch on TH-cam. Garden answer, white cottage company, you and many others. You guys are just so real and down-to-earth. And I enjoy watching. So much better than anything on television. Great finds! I happened to go thrifting today and found a beautiful vintage chenille coverlet for my bed that reminded me of my grandmother's home when I was a little girl. Also a large doily like coverlet for a bed too! Score! Holding out to find nice fabric for a quilted shower curtain like you have.

Glad you made it home and didn't get in that ice storm. We have a lot of families in TX and watched some of the trucks creeping onto the highways.

I love to pick up flower frogs when I find them. I picked up 2 glass ones for $3/ each. It’s funny because not everyone knows what they are. The metal ones are good too. They are great for displaying cards, pictures etc. Fun video! Love shopping along 😊

I would of snatched all of those braided mats in a heart beat. I use them all over my house. Kitchen, livingroom, bedroom top of refrigerator, fireplace mantal etc. When a doilies aren't the fit they are.

I need to buy flowerpots to start planting inside house. I love the stuffed duck so adorable. My husband loves the Rooster cookie jar. I also love the frame with the pink delicate rose. My husband saw it and said, "You have that frame and flower." is similar. I have it in my main bathroom upstairs. The hearts you bought are adorable. Great finds. I always give you video a like. That cross stitch scroll frame would’ve been put in my basket. The flower frogs are neat. I have several Southern Living flower vases with frog lids that I have found thrifting.

I think that is a silo on the cutting board. I really loved the frogs. The hearts are really cute. They are not an over the top gaudy if you know what I mean. They can be used many ways. I personally do not like wood heart cut outs but that’s just me! Lol! Great haul. Enjoyed the video

Great finds on the flower frogs! I have been lucky and have found several glass and metal flower frogs, I use one of them on my desk to hold pens and a metal one for a picture of my only child 😀 he is 30 now , but it's a picture when he was about 3 years old.

Hi Julie, I loved your thrifting hauls. Im glad you picked up the flower frogs even if they were a little pricey. I have 2 like the larger one I got at yard sales for only $1. I have never found the metal ones or the colored ones but will be on the lookout for them.
