Michael B Jordan stated in an interview with Jimmy Kimmel that he has learned from many actors that turn into directors like Denzel Washington, Bradley Cooper and Jon Favreau for advice and guidance in directing a successful film. In return Denzel Washington let him use his storyboard artist and it went on for there. I could that he took their advice and made it into his own to make a successful well-made phenomenal sequel. Plus the cinematography is brilliant... In my opinion I think Jonathan Majors best performance of the year was in the movie "Devotion" with Glen Powell. CONGRATULATIONS on being a dad Austin🎉🎊!!!
Congrats on becoming a "dad", Austin! Yeah, C3 hits (pun intended) on Donny/Adonis and family. Specifically, his daughter Amara. Plus, his "past". Brotherhood with Damian diamond dam. I really liked this movie. Didn't need Rocky to be in it. It's a story about Adonis Creed. You don't need him to ask advice from Rocko. P.S. Of course, there would be a "death" of a main character. MB Jordan did a great directorial debut. Luv his shots of the final fight. Those who've seen it IYKYK. It was "Fighting inner-demons" sequence. Overall, part 1 remains my favorite. But this one is on par with part 2. Good storyline
Not on the level of the first two films but it will be hard for any movie to top this as my favorite of the year. The final fight is probably the best in the Rocky franchise, never was i so invested. I like anime and i practice boxing since i was 19 (i'm 36) and i can apreciate it since this is a movie, the "punch" tribute to Ashita no Joe and Dragon Ball was amazing. My only negatives is the music, which was the weakest from any Rocky movie and the training sequence. I also thought that they cut 15 minutes of the movie, but it was awesome anyway. If The Flash, Indy 5 and John Wick 4 don't deliver as much, this is gonna be my favorite movie of 2023.

*FAVORITE SPORTS-centric MOVIE(s) ?* 🏈 The 2004 movie *_'FRIDAY NIGHT LIGHTS'_*_ (based on H. G. Bissinger's non-fiction book of the same title)_ is certainly amongst my favorite sport-centric films. The true story aspects..individual character stories..Thornton's contribution..The movie's epic Permian vs. Carter finale..emotions throughout the story(ies)....The beautiful music score _(Explosions in the Sky 🎶 , etc., etc.)._ I've never watched the tv series inspired by the 'Friday Night Lights' book and the great sports movie, but the film won the *Best Sports Movie ESPY Award* .
Creed 2, creed 3 then creed 1. I really enjoyed creed 3. It gave me a ton of emotions. But now that you said it, it does feel a bit rush. Like after his mom died I wanted him to sit in his pain a lil more. After dame becomes champ where did the guys who had the guys on the beach go? But another 15 minutes would've been great. Great for Mike's 1st time directing. I'll say this where I was me and the crowd wanted more and that's a good thing 👍🏿
I think the thing you had a problem with that seems to move fast, but isn't that just dealing with people you think your relationship with them is one way until they reveal how they really feel and you go "really". I liked it this way it kept the twisted plan and the emotional conclusion both under wraps until those moments we saw them instead of it being telegraphed to us before hand. Spoiler Alert. . . Didn't the ending conversation with Dame remind you of the ending conversation with Killmonger in Black Panther?
This movie was phenomenal! B Jordan did his thing as a first time director. All the acting was so far above board it was almost too good for a Boxing movie. I only have one gripe. The movie played it too safe. Dame should have won at the end. Then the next movie would have had Creed struggle to get back what he lost. To me that was a better set up, but loved it overall.

Could you also do a review/reaction video on this new show called, Gannibal? It's a brand new Japanese show, based on a popular manga and it's available now to stream on Hulu. The lead actor is Yuya Yagira, the youngest actor ever in history to win the Best Actor Award in the history of Cannes Film Festival! I was blown away by how well-crafted, dark, and unique the series was, it's a suspense thriller that keeps you guessing. It's one of the best Japanese shows, as of lately, next to Alice In Borderland, that I've ever seen. It's only 7 episodes, so it won't be too long to stream. I really want this show to gain more attention and viewers, that it rightfully so deserves, and have a season 2 greenlight, after that haunting cliffhanger ending! I feel like you would love this show and so will your subscribers, as well! I would sincerely, appreciate it, much love! :)
There is one major plot loophole though (MINOR SPOILER) Damien got a shot a the world title even though he had no prior professional fight. That is absolute bullocks. I know its supposed to be a movie, but it is just not believable. Because no commission would allow such fight to happen. Moreover, nobody would wanna pay to see it. It took place in a crowded stadium, which would never happen no matter how good of a promoter you are. More importantly, Damien won, easily. Yes he was fighting dirty, but the lack of any championship experience would have any fighter in his shoes get himself killed by the champion. Other than that, this movie was awesome
Spoiler Alert. . . I enjoy the later conversation he has with his mother it mirrors the same conversation Rocky had with Mick before he fought Clubber Lang. I enjoyed Creed 3 the action and emotional stuff. I could watch it again easily but i think i will watch Ant-Man next.
To me it was alright nothing amazing I think we should have seen more of dame dominating in the ring and getting the fame and opportunity's Moneys cars massive house etc and it getting to his head also when creeds mum died I wanted to see more of the raw emotions kinda got brushed over abit quick
10/10 Tropes are tropes. They’re in every movie. All comes down to how you handle them! Warrior is a masterclass on how to handle “fight movie tropes” Better than every Rocky movie btw 😜
