That final fight scene with just both of them muted from the crowd really made the atmosphere more personal. That was a great touch from MBJ. Majors killed this role. I still believe this is a variant of Kang 😉
That scene was interesting to symbolize them being oblivious to the crowd as they were so focused on each other. Another cool idea could have been for them both to temporarily morph into their teen selves having the younger actors fighting to symbolize their emotions regressing to that earlier time.

Man I was happy they incorporated a lot of the cast from both 1 and 2. Nice seeing that Conlan fight in the beginning. The drago portion was cool and was happy they brought him back for the training montages portion
@@vincentseidle954 Drago was supposed to have his own spinoff along with Lungren where he is the main protagonist. They talked about it over 4 years ago after filming Creed 2. We barely got a few minutes of screen time with him here.
I agree with the deleted scene for sure. But if they had that I think it would’ve made the locker room ending in this one seem kind of corny. Although I preferred the scene w drago more than this one I think haha.
Kind of an AWKWARD "friendship" if you think about it: 1. Adonis HATES Ivan Drago for causing him to never have a father growing up which resulted in a HORRIBLE childhood until he was luckily "rescued" by Apollo's widow. If Viktor also were to hate his father giving them a MUTUAL ENEMY then them being on the same side makes sense like that proverb "the enemy of my enemy is my friend". But Viktor now has a close loving relationship with Ivan. I do not know if I could be good friends with someone if that person's parents were my enemy AND that person had a close relationship with those same people. 2. He never ratted Damien out. Guilt at abandoning him years earlier and the loyalty he feels to him for the friendship they once had prevented him from having him put back into prison for a conspiracy charge (ordering someone ELSE to commit a crime is a crime itself, conspiracy) but its kind of hard to be a loyal friend to VIKTOR but NOT make sure JUSTICE IS DONE FOR VIKTOR'S VICTIMIZATION because of his loyalty to the OTHER friend who is Viktor's ENEMY (even though viktor does not know it). Its a pretty DYSFUNCTIONAL "friendship" if you analyze it.
It was well done. The entire cast was fantastic. MBJ's directing added some freshness to the Rocky/Creed verse. Jordan definitely showed how repressed emotions will eventually bubble up to the surface. Jonathan Majors was excellent as always. 18 years in prison definitely affected him mentally. He showed how being in prison could warp one's behavior and character. Yet he didn't play it like a mustache twirling villain. His nuanced approach was well done. Overall, I gave it a B+.
@@knightish On the topic of "nonsensical" I found it a tad unrealistic that Damien got THAT LONG a prison sentence ONLY by brandishing the gun. He did not FIRE the gun or try to ROB anyone with it, he only used it to get them to stop hurting his friend. Even with priors and the fact that he did not legally own the gun 18 years is a bit much. He should have shot and killed one of the men beating up Adonis and plea bargained down to manslaughter or something. But my biggest complaint is that Damien had no professional fights after winning the title and before facing Adonis. They should have built up tension by having him slaughter a series of contenders and each time taunt Adonis to be his next "victim"....
@@Zurround Being that story takes place in Los Angeles and that state has stiffened penalties for offenders that have previous convictions; it's not a stretch for someone getting 18 years for that act. It's also considered "attempted murder" whether he fired a bullet or not in some jurisdictions. To your other point of having Dame getting a title fight without a previous pro bout wouldn't make sense either. The urgency for finding a replacement boxer fits due to the proximity of Dame being close to Creed and that he had already demonstrated the ability to box considering he already had sparred with Chavez. Boxing has a history of unremarkable fill-ins fighting high-stake fights.
@@blaqceeza I know about the "3 strikes" law. You know what could have made Damien an EVEN MORE SYMPATHETIC CHARACTER? If the authorities offered him a deal where he would have his charges reduced and only serve 3 or 4 instead of 18 years if he were to say who was with him. Maybe nobody got a good enough look at Adonis's face before he ran off and they knew he had an accomplice and he refuses to rat his friend out and loses the "deal" he was offered as a result. That would have added even more emotion to the story in my opinion. It also would have made it MORE REALISTIC because I found Adonis getting away scott free kind of unlikely. It would not take much detective work to find out.
Just saw this. It's a good film and it can stand on its own without Rocky. Still, his presence was sorely missed. Even a phone call or a few seconds of him onscreen would've been great. Also, you can tell Rocky isn't in it when neither of the boxers has an eye swollen shut by a certain round.
If you was paying attention before creed walked out the locker room creed reached the line from creed one when rock told him one punch one round at time
I think it was a good transition towards Creed having to be his own man to stand on his own, no longer needing a mentor to keep his head on right as in this point in his lief he is a father her needs to have the wisdom and confidence to be a mentor himself. Not to mention Rocky had his closure in Creed 2 by burying the past about Apollo, making sure his son survived and being able to reconcile with his own family and mend the last regrets of his past. However Rocky is the ghost that fuels the franchise so i agree some mention in the movie at least like a phone call at the beginning or something
True. A part of me wouldn’t have minded at least a cameo from Rocky. While it’s Creeds time now, it’s still kind of Rockys universe. Heck, I actually wouldn’t mind if Rockys son and Adonis would meet, just for that connective tissue. Or maybe even his grandson and Adonis daughter, because you know that they were probably planting seeds for a spin-off with the daughter.
@@hiranom20 No never. I welcome boxing movies if they're good that is. Why people like you preach for less is just weird to me. Who screams "No, dont give me more stuff I dont like having more stuff"....
This was a great movie. Michael B. Jordan directing debut was really good. He focused on a good path to deliver interesting story focused around the Creed family and his past. I love how he put his anime passion into it, the fights were way more exciting to watch. Obviously, lighting work adds warm and it's nice for eyes. I watched it in Imax, worth my money
Being a Rocky fan from day one, this movie deserves to be considered one of the best of the franchise. In no particular order, you pack this movie in with Rocky I, II and III. Jonathan Majors is quickly becoming one of my favorite actors. MBJ's directorial debut as a Grand Slam!! This was a great movie. I was yelling and throwing punches from my seat. lol
While I thoroughly enjoyed the music in this 3rd installment, I really did miss Ludwig Göransson in the score for these movies. Joseph Shirley is on the score for this one and while it's not bad, there's something really special about Ludwig's themes especially in the softer scenes. Dreamville on the soundtrack though was definitely a win.
Fr so many moments could’ve been way more impactful with goransson scoring this film, adonis’ theme barely even made an appearance. The lack of emotion in the music really pulled me out of the film
Yeah. Ludwig killed it in both Creeds, especially the first one. This 3rd one doesn't have the same musical punch. That being said, the track called "Mary Anne" is absolutely amazing IMO. I'm currently hearing on repeat right now. Very powerful scene in the movie, in conjunction with the music. My entire audience was sobbing.
@@ivangabriel4868 That is the only track from the score that truly meets the standard Ludwig established with the previous two films. The rest of the score was pretty flat, but he definitely came through for that scene
Love the Ludwig Goransson music as well as the instrumentals from all the Rocky films. HATED the inclusion of the "N" word in the raps that are suppose to represent our black heros. I'm old school and simply find it degrading. Younger generation - lose the use of the word, it only degrades us and will NEVER elevate us.
The movie started off slow. I wish they finished the intro with the kid scean and never cut it off. I spent the 1st half the the movie thinking what happened and who is Leondis. But once I found out I really really enjoyed this movie. Especially since nobody was shot and it wasn't super climatic. They spent an hour to show an extra 3 secs. That the cops showed up and he ran. Wow.
Michael B. Jordan's directorial debut is, like the titular boxer, a heavyweight champion in its own right without the Italian Stallion in it's corner. What ensues is a masterful and well-rounded threequel that mostly benefits from the sophisticated direction, the cinematography during the boxing matches, and of course, Jonathan Majors. It deserves 9.7/10
Yet it made no sense as they claimed niether was at fault for what they did at that time being kids...they still committed crimes that later bit them in the ass
@@maxim196 I think Dame meant it’s not their fault because they were abused kids with no support. Dame shouldn’t have had a gun because that’s dangerous, but he - a child - felt he needed that because he had no one else to protect him. Had they had a good support system, they wouldn’t have been in the streets and that would’ve avoided the whole conflict with Leon
I agree that Rocky was missed in this one, but Jordan carried on brilliantly despite his absence. Final scene great. Don't know if I want to see Drago, but could be good if done correctly.
This " gift" is such a tribute to us folks with the shade...it sure is the best movie on the planet right now. Full of suspense and way deeper emotionally..it's a great healing for our souls. Young black directors are making their mark and taking Hollywood by storm..KMBJ holds this mantle well..this is Real.💜everyone can relate..can learn...and enjoy..
Phenomenal addition to the Rocky franchise as a whole. Tone-wise it's separate enough from the franchise while still being connected to the universe in an exceptionally crafted fashion. Also, the unique (anime-inspired) fighting scenes add an extra layer of creativity for filmmaking that I'm excited to see expanded on.
I grew up with the Rocky films and I think the first 2 creed movies were amazing. I understand that Rocky is not eternal, Stallone and Rocky as a character deserve a proper exit from the franchise.
Let it be known, this is how you do legacy sequels right. I’m praying they do future projects not just this one like this! Most recent good example is Prey (?) setting up the first as a world building / all encompassing cinema! Build a universe!
GREAT MOVIE (but could have been EVEN BETTER in my opinion) 1. The scene in the final boxing match where the crowd and referee disappeared and the background turned grey was SYMBOLIC. The literary term is ARTISTIC LICENSE, where things do not look or sound exactly as they would in a scene and SYMBOLISM is used to express emotions and ideas. The disappearance of all of the other people was to show that from their perspective ONLY the other person mattered, they only saw each other. The prison bars Adonis got knocked into represented the years his friend had been locked up and his emotions around that. So as long as ARTISTIC LICENSE was being employed in that surreal scene you know what else might have been cool? If they had both morphed into their TEEN selves from 18 years earlier and the 2 actors who portrayed them as teens were the ones fighting for a minute or so of screen time. To show that their emotional state had regressed to their early lives. Maybe the teen actors were not skilled enough at boxing to have acted out such a scene convincingly? Even to pretend to do a sport in a movie an actor needs a degree of training and maybe the teen actors did not have it yet? Or maybe the script writers did not think of it? 2. I think Damien should have been shown having several more fights where he successfully defended his title, winning with no more than minimal difficulty each time before facing Adonis in the final match. It could have maybe been a montage taking up only a few minutes of screen time much like Clubber Lang's string of victories in Rocky 3. He was only shown having ONE pro fight where he won the title and winning several consecutive title defenses would have helped to show that it was not just a fluke and he was not a "one hit wonder" and was the "real deal". It would have made him seem like even more of a danger and threat to Adonis. It also would have made me happier because I felt very sorry for him and I know that the world heavyweight champion gets several million dollars purse every time they successfully defend their title. 3. I think the final fight did not get enough screen time. I know that they cannot show the entire thing in "real time" as that would be 3 quarters of an hour and with a movie that is only around 2 hours long it would not leave enough time to tell the rest of the story BUT I still would have liked at least a few more minutes of it. It felt a little too brief. 4. A slightly happier ending for Damien. He was such a tragic villain. I felt so sad for him. Maybe something similar to Adrian in Rocky 1 where it turns out that the girlfriend he had in his home with him when he saw Adonis on TV was NOT just a gold digger tramp like she seemed and really did love him, maybe she runs up to him and gives him a big hug and kiss and tells him how proud of him she is or something. I left the theater very sad. I hope the character gets some kind of spinoff movie where he gets to be the protagonist.
A montage for Dame would’ve been good. I was actually rooting for Dame to win the last fight. It would’ve been cool to end on a lost them have a redemption sequel.
@@zackmckenzie3582 I posted on another thread that a great way for Damien to win the fight would be if he was dominating in the final rounds and ahead in score and near the end of the final round Adonis manages to knock him out but Adonis has a crisis of conscience and when he sees that Damien cannot get up he runs up to him and yanks him into a standing position. Even though help getting up is illegal and cheating because it happened against his will and it was his opponent doing it they cannot disqualify Damien so they count it as a successful beating of the 10 count but Damien still wins because he had a significant lead before getting knocked down (similar to the Conlon fight). Lifting his friend up costs Adonis the win but enables Damien to forgive him and it renews their friendship. That would have been a beautiful way to end it.
I can’t wait to see what B. Jordan does next. For a directorial debut it was a great film, the finale was awesome. Majors is definitely someone you don’t want to mess with in this universe or the multiverse lol Forget Drago, I want a Dame spin off
Just watched Creed 3 and it is amazing, Michael B Jordan's directorial debut is perfect, the movie is shot so well, the story, fights everything was excellent 👏👏👏 Jonathan Majors stole the show as Dame 🙌
Interesting that all the comment are so positive. Makes me wonder if it's a bias or something. I wasn't all that impressed. It felt off some how. The emotion when he found out his "friend" played him didnt get me. The emotion when his "mom" died didnt get me. The emotion when they made up at the end didn't get me. The training montage wasn't as strong as the Rocky movies. Rocky not being mentioned or in the film at all felt totally wrong. The backstory for the characters was pretty weak and their beef felt made up. The emotion wasnt there for me. The boxing was pretty good. Especially the scene where it was just them in the ring. That was definitely the best part of the film. Im not sure why they were so heavy on their feet, but they lacked the movement I felt shouldve been there. Some of the music was good, but still fell tragically short of the original films. It's a 5/10 for me.
This Movie Was Incredible, I Loved The Family Dynamic Especially With Adonis & Amara, The Soundtrack Was A Banger, The Fight Scenes Were Well Shot, Good Gripping Writing/Script, And More. I'm So Exited For What Creed 4 Will Bring To The Table.
Fun fact that last fight was a inspiration of kakashi and obito fight , micheal made that idea off of because he is a huge anime/naruto fan and he said he took a lot of inspiration from anime and there’re fight sequences
I thought of the movie as a transition between fighting and personal life; there’s always going to be challengers, but bringing such a heavy piece like childhood trauma into the mix, turns the story on its head. This isn’t creed vs dame, this is creed vs Donny. It’s meant to be a transition film to show that it’s more than fighting in a ring, and life is more.
Sly was forced out & Creed III was a blatant ripoff of Rocky III! If you neved watched Rocky III, then you should & note that Creed III borrowed heavily on scripting elements from Rocky III...
@@Wiser1FOREVER i felt it was a mix of Rocky 3 and Rocky 5. Rocky 5 because it was Adonis mentoring a fighter out of the love of the sport, meanwhile Damian was fighting for all the wrong reasons (like Tommy Gunn). And yeah like I said the studio stuff sucks Rocky should be treated like royalty because without him Rocky would never be what it is today
@@DreamvilleMatt Either way, Creed III was a ripoff primarily from taking elements from Rocky III & IV & V then! I just paused on this video where Adonis is punching a tree as part of his conditioning, which is a brief take-a-way from Rocky IV & the 1st Rocky. Actually the more I think about it they stole from all the Rocky films. With this film they also changed up the Adonis character, not with his back-story, but with how he fights. In Creed 1 & 2 Rocky trained him to account for his becoming the champ. With this movie Adonis suddenly has a gift to see his opponents weak spots which in turn is like he's borrowing from the super-hero movies chartacters heightened senses like Daredevil, which is absurd. So, ultimately he's stealing ideas from the Rocky movies & the MCU. The only thing original he's accomplished is how he's ripping off other people's creativity/ideas!
I'd love to see a Drago story. Peppered with flashbacks to a CGI'd younger Dolph trying to resurrect the name with his son. Could be an interesting story to tell.
Every Rocky movie with the training montage made me want to go out and get jacked up I don't know what kind of training montage this was but it wasn't makeing me feel inspired the way the Rocky movies did..without Stallone you can't put this in the same universe as the rest of the movies. They even forgot that in this universe the rumble in the jungle was forman vs Apollo
First time since Rocky 5 I felt the magic had gone. But Stallone redeemed the magic in Rocky Balboa.. So please bring Stallone back for the next movie Creed Legacy!!!
Seen the movie earlier today and I give it a 8/10. Just wish we had seen more of dames story and background. Could have threw in some jail fights, flashbacks from the group home, & him fighting other fighters before he fought Felix.
It's a good movie but without Sly in several key moments it lacks the emotion of the regular rocky movies and previous creed movies that they are known for.
Really good film and Majors stole the show. Jordan killed it with his acting as well and direction. Did miss Stallone but the story worked without him. I do hope if they make Creed IV Rocky comes back. Diego Film sounds like it has potential. A nice solid Trilogy here.
I saw the movie, you can’t blame Dame. Dame could’ve snitched on Adonis after, he dipped don him. He took the heat for Adonis, and Adonis didn’t even go check up/call on him.
@Drew Meyer sure he could have snitched. but Donnie was a juvenile, and all he did was beat up a grown man who abused him. Donnie would have gotten a slap on the wrist. It's not like Donnie would have done prison time. Also, that doesn't excuse Dame's stupidity. Dame pulled the gun that he had in his bag. Dame could have fought them. Also, Dame had prior, that is why his sentence was so harsh. Was his priority Donnie's fault, too??? I hate it was dudes excuse dumb decisions and blame the rest of the world. His stupidity is what got him locked up.
@@Think1stMedia I already can tell you an L7. All he did was beat up a grown man lol. That’s battery. The thing is even when Donnie was a pro and big he never checked up on his so called brother.
Drago needs to be a 4 episode Netflix style mini series. Showing what happened after his fight with Rocky. Him losing the respect of a country and his wife leaving and him raising Viktor as a single father.
@@rm-jl8wy My mistake in the original comment. I mean show Drago after he fought Rocky. His wife leaving and him being a single father in near poverty etc etc would make a great story.
There was always the talk when the movie was teased that this was Clubber’s son. Still seems like it would make sense if they are going that way with Drago
Am I the only who didn't like how the fight concluded? IMO Dame wins and sets up Creed 4, otherwise felt the plot was rushed. Wish we got more time with dame and his side of things.
I definitely agree 100%, the emotional scene with creeds mom rocky should’ve been added there to pick him up. Same way Dom has picked rocky up I did miss the rocky sound when Dom got up.
Love the movie, reason, in the way facing past present and future. In the 12th, watching two champs fight, I get it,. Sad to watch two Brothers fight, based on life decisions. Bittersweet victory. Relatable out and in the ring.
Creed3 Just seen the movie, you did an amazing job putting the movie together. You and the cast were amazing. If you have not seen the movie go out and see it. You will not be disappointed!!!!
Please explain why gen z has to have everything explained to them. Growing up i never needed the ending of any movie explained to me i just came to my own conclusions or if it was an open ended film I’d think of how I’d like our hero or villain journey to continue. Please will someone explain why every single movie has to have a ton of “ending explained” videos
I was so surprised this was MBJ’s directorial debut. Great job from that aspect. Creed 1 and 2 always had that rocky element. But they got along without it just fine.
Creed is a dam near perfect trilogy and the perfect way to continue a franchise I feel creed did for rocky what Godzilla vs kong did for the monsterverse we know more was coming
Bro, I wanted Damien to win at the end overall, the movie was too predictable. The way Adonis fell at the end and then got back up same thing happened the last two movies but Damien needs his own spinoff for sure.
Yea same here but I still loved it I actually thought he would win then Adonis would get hurt so bad that either Drago or Felix would fight him to avenge him while Adonis watches but that was me and Ik it is cheesy
@@MarkTheMovieMan100 really because Creed lose to Ricky Conlan in and only won against Drago because of a DQ in their first encounter. Not to mention Clubber Lang defeated Rocky so it wouldn't be that hard to believe Robert Balboa can beat Adonis Creed especially when you consider he's the underdog which is what Rocky has always been about.
@@MarkTheMovieMan100 George Foreman won the heavyweight championship at 45. And as far as boxing experience goes Rocky had none before fighting Apollo Creed, Donnie had none before fighting Ricky Conlan, and while he was a former golden globe winner Damian had no experience at pro level before fighting Felix Chevaz. The latter won his professional debut!
This one is fairly well-written. I like the setup. It establishes how close Damien and Adonis really were. Which is why as the story progress you kinda feel sad that they eventually will have to fight each other. Initially you really wanna root for Damien and even hate Donnie for never even checking up on his brother all these years. How could you just bail on him like that when he saved your ass from being jumped. Then Damien does something really sinister, and you begin rooting again for Adonis. I loved the training montage. The series never fails to make me want to kill it in the gym. But I also liked how the movie establishes that Donnie has to prepare for the fight more emotionally than physically. If he will win the fight, he has to be able to let go of his survivor's guilt. The right fights were really well-done. Its very unique. Its very anime, but never really cartoonish What did not like though (MINOR SPOILER) is how Damien who never even had a professional fight got a chance to compete for a title. That was completely rubbish. I know its just a movie, but this will never happen in a million years. He wont even be cleared to fight by athletic commissions. Fans will never buy the ticket. Also.... he will not beat the reigning champion easily with zero championship experience. I also wish that Drago had more to do in this.
Technically if I remember they both ran but he got caught. Add to the fact he had priors and it was alluded he did something while in the pen to get more years added. Finally of course he wouldn't get a championship fight but the same thing happened to donnie just for being apollo's son & it technically happened with Rocky & even Drago in part 4. This is that universe
@@rxtsec1 my bad I guess u had it right. A fairy tale lol. I’m just a critical thinker it just didn’t make any sense to me. The fighting scenes were definitely great though.
@@rxtsec1 Except the Drago-Rocky fight wasn't for the belt. It was unsanctioned. The boxing commission wouldn't allow it to be for the title due to what happened to Apollo, so Rocky forfeited it. For him, it was more about revenge for the loss of his friend.
@@TotsNater that's true but the drago character is the most unrealistic character in the franchise and that fight against apollo in real life would have put him in jail but sense it's the Rocky/Creed universe it can slide
Finally the Creed films deliver cinematic fights.. This has been my bug bear with Creed 1&2.. The fights fell short. But this film absolutely smashed it. Still to reach the frentic pace of Rocky 3 or the saga of Rocky 2 but we're getting there.
I get it. However, It does seem weird that Rocky is literally erased from his life. He isn't mentiond. There are no pictures of them together. It makes it weird. I actually found it a bit disrespectful. The whole movie is literally about, "remember where you came from". Rocky is part of his past too.
I think simple things could have played a bit of homage to the Rocky universe. The funeral of Maryanne, Rocky should have been there. It would have been nice to have seen her buried next to Apollo as her passing scene was pretty emotional with her talking of him. In Adonis's house there is no photos of Rocky or his father Apollo anywhere to be seen. Simple things could have made it a bit polished. The Drago Character in Creed 3 in my opinion was a bit not well thought out.

@@yosefvargasxno he wouldn’t lol
@Ýøsëf Vïvəřøś I disagree Drago is way more powerful than Dame and dominated Creed way more than Dame!
I agree!
B+ is a fair grade. It was okay movie. I enjoyed it but the script was a bit nonsensical to me at points.
If you was paying attention before creed walked out the locker room creed reached the line from creed one when rock told him one punch one round at time
was waiting for an eye to be shut all movie
@@enoch927able That's true. His influence is in there but his presence isn't.
I found the story good as we leave Rockys shadow and get to see more of Creeds past rounding out areas in his past
I felt like he was setting it up for the daughter to become a fighter. That would be so dope. Like how Muhammad Ali's daughter carried on his legacy.
I thought so too. Maybe in 10 years
Or maybe the story can just come to an end?
Remember Rocky's grandchild. She is preparing for this too! 😂

This is a Rocky movie
This was my first Creed movie and I was very impressed with all the actors.Teared up numerous times and I don't generally ever watch boxing movies.
Ppl said this movie felt slow paced but that movie went by fast asf 😭 I wanted more
The movie started off slow.
I really enjoyed the last scene with Dame and Adonis making amends
Yet it made no sense as they claimed niether was at fault for what they did at that time being kids...they still committed crimes that later bit them in the ass
@@maxim196the whole movie didn’t make sense tbh and just lacked depth
@@NKanchevful Well not everything but I could see the rushing and the problems it comes with
that teared me up. I loved the vulnerability ,emotional intelligence and two Black men finding redemption

@@oddieboy1873 Michael B Jordan is an anime fan. You think he’s going to hesitate to make a film where you’ve got to read subtitles?
GREAT MOVIE (but could have been EVEN BETTER in my opinion)
Majors is definitely someone you don’t want to mess with in this universe or the multiverse lol Forget Drago, I want a Dame spin off
Jonathan Majors felt like a modern day version of Clubber Lang
Just watched Creed 3 and it is amazing, Michael B Jordan's directorial debut is perfect, the movie is shot so well, the story, fights everything was excellent 👏👏👏 Jonathan Majors stole the show as Dame 🙌
since rocky 4 I've been more intrigued for the Drago and his family backstory than anything else, hope they bring that to light in the future .
I love Creed. But I want a Drago Series. Was rooting for him
Interesting that all the comment are so positive.
Great breakdown my man, Creed 3 was fresh but Rocky was surely missed. Hope Sly can figure it out with the studio!

Its very anime, but never really cartoonish
What did not like though (MINOR SPOILER) is how Damien who never even had a professional fight got a chance to compete for a title.

That's because this 1st installment without Sly is a blatant ripoof of Rocky III.
