    This was brilliant you are an amazing teacher you tell us exactly where we need to be. Have you stopped doing them now it is such a shame I have just got procreate and loved this so much. Wish you had done the last firework too. Thank you.

    Thank you for the tutorial. I didn’t understand well enough but thank for showing me what to do to do glitter. It wouldn’t let me get to blur at 2:23 so that’s fine but ty :D

    Your videos are very helpful. Procreate has updated since this video. I tried going to your blog and got a security warning that something may be wrong with the website. Please check your site. Thank you for your videos. You have so much knowledge and explain techniques in a way that are easy to understand.

    Hiii lady this is gorgeous! I tried it out, the only problem I have is that I reached the maximum of 25 layers. How can I duplicate the firework group, so I can add more Firework? Thanks

    • @mapletreemakery
      @mapletreemakery  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hello! The amount of layers depends on your canvas size, so a Screen Size canvas should give you 91 layers to work with. Or if you’re completely done editing the firework, you can tap on the firework group and press Flatten. But if you do this you won’t be able to edit the firework anymore.

      @@mapletreemakery oh wow didn’t know that! I always work in the square size that fits in an Instagram post. I’ll try this out! Looking forward in experimenting with more fireworks! Here in the Netherlands we just had our New Years, have a good one you too 🎆❤️

    I’m very frustrated with this tutorial. Or perhaps my iPad which is brand new. You’ll tell me to do some thing and I’ll follow it and it won’t work or it won’t do anything and then I’ll redo it in and I’ll do it now I’m stuck on the part where I have to change the glimmer dots to white. The fill layer makes the whole screen white. Not the dots. I can’t hold onto select while having my layes open. It’s either one or the other. Am I doing something wrong?

    • @mapletreemakery
      @mapletreemakery  4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      There have been a couple of major Procreate updates since this tutorial was created, so some of the steps are a bit different. If your whole canvas fills with white, you may have your selection inverted or your Selection Threshold may be set higher than mine. You can adjust this, but here’s an easier workaround. Make sure you’re on the layer with the dots that you want to turn white, but don’t select them. Instead, tap on the Adjustments button (to the right of the wrench in the top menu). Tap Hue, Saturation, Brightness and then Layer. Drag the Brightness slider to 100%. Hopefully this will turn the dots white. I hope this helps!

    • @mapletreemakery
      @mapletreemakery  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Make sure you are working on the layer that you want to blur. After tapping on “Perspective Blur” tap “Layer” to apply the adjustment to the whole layer.

      There are a few things that have changed since Procreate updated to Procreate 5, but the tutorial should still work. The Glimmer brush is now a multicolor brush. If you want to turn that off, you can tap on your duplicated Glimmer brush to open the Brush Studio, tap Color Dynamics, and then reduce all of the Stamp color jitter settings to None. When you use the Liquify adjustment, you may want to change a few of the settings as well. I tried it again and increased the Size of the Crystals and made sure the other settings matched the video. If you’re still having trouble, there are some free fireworks brushes on our blog including a “Firework Dots” brush which you can stamp on the canvas so you don’t have to create the circle of Glimmer dots at the beginning. I’ve found drawing the circle of Glimmer dots is the hardest part and really impacts how the firework looks. I hope this helps!
