  • I decided to do this extremely short video shoot near my home in Dublin in reaction to the low light footage from the new cameras being announced at the moment.
    2500-10,000 ISO.
The shot with the man with the red coat walking by the camera was so dimly lit that the colour of the coat was indiscernible to the naked eye.
I think the little Sigma camera is brilliant!

Greetings from Auckland NZ. I think I would like to own this camera. I am amazed at what it can deliver for its price point. The design concept of the Fp is truly awesome. PS - awesome video. Thank you

Awesome shots, I’ve really not taken advantage of the low light capability on my fp yet. Any noise reduction on these raw shots in post? Shame to see the flicker bug still exists in some higher ISO’s (seen in the shot with a ship on the horizon)... assuming you’re on the latest firmware 2.0? But at least they’ve eliminated it from the most used lower ISO’s.

Ps I see you’re in the ‘Real Sigma fp Group’ on Facebook... you should share this in there 👍

Hi Jon, great to hear from you. Yes I am using the latest firmware. As far as the flicker is concerned my test wasn’t exactly conducted under strict scientific conditions so it may be me messing briefly with the iris ring. Also I was in Super 35 mode to get me closer to the ship. I accidentally switched the setting from RAW to h.264. Other than that I was extremely pleased with the camera.
