New Build (Timelapse) Lifting + Bracing A Pair Of Truss Roofs!!

In this timelapse video we lift and brace 2 roofs + crane in the spandrel panel. And set up one gable for the bricklayers, fitting the ladder end and lateral straps! Ill do a more in depth video of how we have to fit the spandrel panels soon!

Excellent work. Great to see the trusses go on. Not sure how much of a pain it would be for you but if possible could you do a voice over giving some tips at key points eg gauging the spacing, fixings etc. Thanks for posting though really appreciate them.

@@leehalling8635 cheers pal!! Well I’m trying to negotiate a price at the min 🤣 was told they were £310 all in for each plot but that is well too low! We get an hour extra todo the fire boxes on the soffit too haha

Is it a new thing sending the spandrels in 2 pieces? I saw them sending in 2 pieces before but only for roofs that have like diminishers on the partition wall. Its lots of extra hussle to make them fireproof... plasterboard it than put some fireproof mastic around.... proper pain doing it on a roof, specially after u have ur rafters already in place

I think it’s literally down to transport a lot of the time but I’m not 100%. The smaller roofs come in one but those roofs were tall and long so I’m guessing it more tricky to get on the trucks etc. I’m gonna do a better video on spandrels soon because the way we have to fit them has changed like 5 times over the years hha! Wanna see how everyone else is doing them! And yeah they are a ballache!! 👎🤣

Brace it off the toe board of the scaffolding pal with a 4x1 on each side of the truss 👌
