That looks like a beautiful kit Jamie, nicely done on your whole build process I like this format but I also like when you explain the build as well, great work
Great to watch a master at work. This format is interesting as a précis of a full build but please don’t go away from the more detailed and in depth builds.
That looks a real mess,.. in a good way 😅. I just started my airbrushing path, and getting a result like yours is my future goal. Small steps at the minute. I like your music choices for this video style too. Great work, Jamie.
Hi Jamie .Very nice hurricane. The masks for markings and the camo worked a treat. I built one early this year but put off painting as ultra ab needed replacing . Sorted now , must pick it up sgain . Love the "chin" trop intake and colours . Classic. I hope your good . M
Really enjoy your channel and videos. Really do prefer when you do the commentary to just music, so many channels do that and l feel we miss out on your insights into the builds.
Interesting that you scribe around the switchboxes on the cockpit sidewalls to give them more separation from the panels Jamie. I guess they really pop after a wash. Good tip. 👍🏻
@@thescalemodellingcafe Sorry Jamie - I forgot there had been 5 previous in depth parts (bit of brain fog having been hospitalised at the start of August) - In that case could I humbly request / suggest on the summary / recap type videos that you detail the paints used as, I as a Novice always find that very useful.
@@thescalemodellingcafe I am back at work (and the bench ) thanks Jamie. The NHS sorted my SVT / VT out and looked after me well. I now have a Defibrillator device fitted which will save my life should it happen again. Your Channel (along with Nigel's Modelling Bench and Mann's Modelling Moments ) kept me going when I was in there for the 10 days.
I'm sure you must have been through this in one of your vids Jamie, but what made you decide to mask and paint some of the markings before applying the camouflage coat?
@@thescalemodellingcafe Thanks. I've got a few sets of masks that I bought to try out the technique - I'll give your reverse method a go. When you produce your own roundel masks do you ever cut a second set with very slightly different dimensions to minimise the risk of join lines?
Some fantastic weathering there love it. Looks a nice kit
Thanks Chris
Pleasant video and the Hurricane looks nice!
Thanks mate
Now that is a great-looking Hurricane.
Thanks mate
It's weird going from your magazine articles and photos to watching you build in real time, Maestro.
Hopefully interesting though! 😄

It is beautiful mate, and I have another 2 in the stash!
@@thescalemodellingcafe I will definitely be picking one up myself I also fancy the P-39
I can't describe how much I love this build
Thanks mate, I think it's my favourite so far

I won't David, these are an accompaniment to the main series
Thank for putting the time into editing and summarizing this Hurricane build series into a shorter version.
Thanks mate, glad you like the format
A brilliant build and really enjoyed this longer video so please on occasion can we have more.
Thanks mate. That is the plan

Great work, Jamie.
Thanks mate, it's all about practice!
You brought a lot of color modulation to that RAF Tropical scheme. I like the painted stencils and roundels as well.
Thanks mate
I like the music choice - it fits the subject well
Thanks mate
GP Lap used it a lot, on 1960's auto racing, even more fit.

These are designed as a compliment to the usual series mate, they won't replace the standard format

Cheers mate
awesome job!!!
Thanks Albert
Yay! Positionable flying surfaces!
Brings so much animation
Great looking result there. Love the bit of music at 17.43
Thanks mate
Beautiful work young Padawan! 👍🏻👌🏻👏🏻
Thanks mate, nice to be called young!!!
Truly masterful.
Thanks mate
Well done.
Thanks mate
Superb results as ever - do miss the commentary for the “why I did this” - I worked out the stencil order reasoning ( I hope 😊 ). Another beauty!!!
Thanks Neil, I think of these as a compliment to the full series with narration rather than a replacement.

Crikey! Glad in some small way I helped with the recovery.
I like the way ARMA tooled the 20mm Hispano cannons vs. Hasegawa.
But still not as good as the aftermarket
Very accurate Dunlop fighter tires.
Awesome mouldings
Nice work! What paint did you use to paint the bottom of the kit?
MRP Azure Blue
Arma really know how to capture riveted-skinned aircraft in their molds.
Fact!

Just minimising risk of fine lines on the joins the masks, and it minimises the risk of the contrast of the camouflage coming through.

@@FinsburyPhil I always cut circles to mask the joins mate.
That bird is weathered.
Yeah, its great fun to do
These Eastern European companies are giving Hasegawa a run for their money with their own subjects.
Hasegawa are really old hat now
