Hey, I'm here in Sept. 2023 and I accidentally stumbled upon a CLIP of a Joe Rogan podcast from 2016 with Graham!! So then I TH-camd the other podcasts and now I'm absolutely HOOKED 😍💖🤘 I can't wait for the GREAT DEBATE, October 24th 2023!! Graham Hancock v.s Flint Dibble!! 💪
This is one of my favorite of your podcasts. You guys are filling voids in so many subjects and on so many levels. After listening to these podcasts I feel informed everytime. Thanks so much. Graham Hancock is the MAN!
Read all of Graham's books including his collaborations. Am not sure some of his assertions that it can only be X that lead to Y. What I would say, is he presents very compelling evidence across epochs and various sites that clearly contradict 'established orhodox history'
"All the joy and love just kills all the bad stuff." only you, Joe Rogan, could be so simplisticly poetic... you truly are a prophet. I hope to meet you one day on my journey through this life.
Joe, I am a 55 year old Physician and I am sick of the "drug war". If people only knew that the real drug problems are pharmaceutical companies pushing their products. I have done most of these drugs that you are speaking about and have never been addicted. Keep up the good work.
Ummm. I don't think Ayahausca is really a target of the "drug war" I also call bullshit, you are not a physician. If you were you would not have capitalized Physician. Only a 20 year old would do that, and someone totally clueless about the world, drugs, people, and life. No doctor is going to get on here and say oh durka durka durka we should legalize drugs they are not addictive. thousands of people die every week in this country from drug overdoses, old, young, moms, junkies, children. What we do need if the government to control our BORDER with mexico and stop China from sending deadly drugs made in labs. The open southern border directly causes the excessive drug problems...
Spending my new-years watching all the graham hancock/joe rogan episodes. Some may call it boring, I call it extremely enlightening. I'd rather get drunk and learn something then get drunk and possibly get blown up by some fanatic.
kyle taoitness btw, the fanatics are the ones painting the illusion that getting blown up is anymore probable than getting struck by lightning......TWICE!!!
This is amazing. Graham has blown my mind and in a way it was joe that blew my mind by sharing Graham and his work with me. So lucky to live in a time where the world is so connected. I think about how the egyptians lived so simply and put so much effort into making these monuments and I can't help thinking that perhaps it was their legacy. What lasts longer, a book or a giant stone monument covered in symbols. And why symbols and not words? Because symbols are universal. so fascinating
Reading these old comments reminds me of just how great of an impact you have made on my life. Incredible. I dont know if id have been the same person without this show.
@@oskorei123 offhand, no, no references but Handcock has assumed a place that allows him to investigate anything then write about it then be on many shows to talk about it, generate interest, then, BAM! A huge sudden interest in what he wrote about erupts!
Joe is a real host in this vid. I love the fact that he's on the case & attentive. Checking the set up, fixing the AC. In all these years, I've never watched this. Good interview, Good find.
Mr. Hancock, this is my first introduction to you and your work. I'm only 55 minutes into this podcast and felt compelled to comment. I am so glad I stumbled upon this podcast. Your theories are mind expanding and thoroughly compelling. I can't wait to listen to the remainder as well as the other podcasts with Joe. Bravo.
+Jason G Just remember they are just hypothesis - he has virtually no evidence to substantiate any of this. They are cool ideas but it could all just be bullshit.
Jason G No dude, that's not the same at all. Darwin produced a hypothesis after direct observations of the traits of different species of finch while spending time at the Galapagos islands. He then tested this hypothesis, developed the idea to position of intellectual coherence, including scientific and rational methodology, and gathered significant amounts of information. After that, he had his work peer reviewed and published. Hancock is literally just speculating; effectively saying: "if we peer back into the murky depths of pre-history, I posit a lost civilisation/s for which we have no direct evidence". And no one in academia takes him seriously because its not serious academic research. Thats not to say he isnt possibly correct: he might be. But the time to beleive someone is when they have produced solid evidence to substantiate their claims. Hancock is miles away from tat. If you are interested in ancient history, there is so much amazing work out there which is much more solid than this.
Tim Blizzard Then you neither know the basis of Hancocks work or the basis of Darwin's theory. You can place as many nice labels such as "idea to position of intellectual coherence", as you like but there was absolutely no "scientific (and rational) methology" involved. If there was, then Darwin's theory should be replicable in a lab, which it isn't, thus it remains a theory.
This has just reaffirmed everything I'm in the process of discovering in terms of spirituality and the world we live in. More and more people are awakening to these experiences as well, feels like there's been some kind of shift... Peace!
Oh my god. "Mind blown" is an understatement. All I want to do now is live long enough to see this man academically vindicated, to see these things get proven bit by bit by bit as the next few decades go by!

My partner was doing an MA in classics and ancient history when that Horizons documentary was first shown on TV. He's certainly right that 'mainstream academics' really, really dislike him. One of her lecturers practically had steam coming out of his ears when a student mentioned Hancock's theories in a class.
+canna bliss Hancock doesn't even claim to be an archaeologist. He's a journalist. I attended one of his lectures recently. After he spoke there was a panel discussion with archaeologists and other academics. It was civil and informative. They may have disagreed with him on some points . . . mostly for lack of solid evidence . . . but they didn't appear to dislike him at all. Quite the contrary.
+grizcuz I have a research masters in ancient history, and as much as Graham has interesting ideas, its nothing close to real archaeology. His methodology is basically shit. My lecturer would not have been happy if I had cited Hancock; its not real research. Its basically just speculation. The problem is people without training in archaeology and ancient history don't know the difference between legit research and what Hancock does.
+MooPotPie The problem there is he isn't an archaeologist, but he''s putting forward archaeological theories on the development of human civilisation - which essentially turns our complete understanding of human development on its head - with practically no evidence. Its a lot like Deepak Chopra talking about quantum mechanics.
This hit me hard .... i knew much of what was spoken about and knew of Graham's work ... but about 1 hr 50 minutes in when discribing the melting at the end of the last ice age roughly 12000 years ago... that caused this amnesia we have now.... and how many millions may have died... our ancestors... wiped away.. this hit me hard ... wiped away history so we cannot learn ..all a waste. Sad
+emwals01 It is kinda sad, but more so in the sense how our own faults are preventing us to learn from the past and be open to new idea's about our history which will help us in our future.
Orthodox = by the book. By the book = only within this book can one find the truth. Anything else is mere speculation or pure fantasy. Orthodoxy within science and religion casts them both in the same role. One is no wiser than the other. Science becomes nothing more than yet another orthodox religion when it is limited by such constraints.
There is no such thing as orthodox science. Just like there are no schisms in science...if you're wrong it's because someone proved it, and we move on. Simple.
The STUPIDITY of the War On Drugs has destroyed more families/lives then Any natural disaster, more then any war , more then any epidemic!!!!! The Crime is THE WAR AGAINST DRUGS! If all the money spent was used to help instead of controlling and/or throw away (send to prison) all user's this world wouldn't be filled with these prison's or create gangs/terrorism!!! Helping someone who needs it certainly isn't the profitable way!!!!
And just think how utterly absurd it sounds that for thousands of years people traveled by horse or donkey and all of the sudden, within a hundred years we have planes, trains and automobiles. Ridiculous
I went to prison for 4 years because I believed I owned my own labor and the fruits there of. I've been home now for two years and it is easier now for me to see that you can take the man out of prison but you can't take the prison out of the man. We're all in prison in one way or another.
+Al Martin I'm trying to decipher what you mean, as you have been purposeful cryptic, but I assume you mean 'tax evasion'. In which case, you are correct that you should be entitled to the fruits of your own labor, but if you don't want to pay some of that to use services that have been provided to you by the fruits of other people's labor (IE: public roads, sidewalks, schools, police, fire ect) then you should live in a country where these services are not provided to you, and then you can truly reap entirely what you sow. Until then, you went to prison for what is basically fraud and you deserved it for being so naive as to expect such luxuries for free.
+MultiCheeseLouise Your tax dollars don't pay for any government services. 100% of all taxes collected from Americans goes to pay off a tiny bit of interest on the national debt. There isn't enough paper money in print to pay off 17 trillion dollars of pure debt. 50% of every dollar spent on gasoline is tax. The system is one that requires us to submit to a certain kind of slavery? I think not. But if it makes you feel better, the government now picks up 100% of my living cost after they take it from people like you. I didn't want that but since you have a better appreciation of the system than I do, you are welcome.
+War.is.a. Racket +Al Martin >>> My point still stands, if you don't want to pay taxes you should live in a country where you don't have to or live a lifestyle where you don't have to (Amish, ect). There's no excuse.
+MultiCheeseLouise : How much do you know about tax law? I've spent 25 years studying tax law and the Federalist Papers and the Constitution along with every Supreme Court Case involving the income tax and the 16th amendment.. You have an opinion that is not based in study or fact. That is excuse enough to let you pay the illegally enforced income tax all by yourself. Knock yourself out.
"You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free!" and "Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind". These and many other treasures from the bible are some of my favourite teachings.
According to Michael Tillenger; there are between 10 and 20 Million ruins in South Africa. There where humans in South Africa at least 60,000 year ago when they started moving across the world. The Sphynx in Egypt is at least 30,000 according the Michael Shock, based on water erosions marks left on the pit where the Sphynx was made.. You forgot to also look Gobekli Tepe in south eastern turkey which is much older then 12,000 years old and there are plenty more ruins there that have been buried that much older.. You can argue all you want, but you end up looking foolish if you have not done any searching on the information yourself.. There are plenty of books out there.
Clark Moraign Michael Tillenger is a fraud and none of the dates you gave for any of those sites are even close to being correct. You've already proven to be a fool by believing in such idiocy.
good for you friend. It is actually really nice to hear from an older Physician that they are aware of the bs that is going on. Thank you for just being awake to these troubling issues.
23:40 Well the moon doesn't have tectonic drift, so those craters have been accumulated over billions of years of meteorite impacts, whereas on earth we have recycling of the crust via subduction and that destroys the craters. There has been periods of time where impacts are common due to disturbances in the asteroid belt, but they are generally early in the solar system. Also the earth has a atmosphere which takes out most meteorites. So a meteorite impact taking out a civilization is very unlikely, extremely unlikely.
Ryukey Well it’s a known fact ET impacts have caused massive damage and extinction on earth, so a meteor or comet impacting earth during an ice age could cause an extreme chain reaction which could easily and efficiently erase a civilization with things such as meltwater floods, rapid rising and falling in temperatures and any other climate changes, increase in sea levels, isostatic depression/ rebound, nuclear winter, wildfires, etc. My point being I would say its a bit of a stretch to say its unlikely for a comet impact to wipe out a civilization considering all the possible scenarios it could initiate and how instant they would be.
Joe just want stop to amaze me. And Graham is a real McCoy - you can see the passion in him. Nothing better than conversation between two intelligent, open minded and down to earth persons on imporatant subject. Top level entertainment
Man, I can only imagine; Being super stoned gaining all of this information. But the fact that Marijuana messes with your memory is the only downfall. :/ I would love to retain all of the information. Fuck it, i'm still going to smoke some!
training can help this, I get medicated then I read or do my research and repeat everyday. Since I started my research on this new method I find it that it has turned into a ritual and I have been able to hold on to the new information. But, if I try to explain my findings to my peers I find I cannot quite explain it to them sober, It only translates exactly how I researched it if I am medicated at the time I am trying to explain it. Really interesting findings, nothing new as I tried to disprove it but came out with the same relusts already found. Kind of like "Drunken Memory" as in "Beer Fest"
Joe Rogan Show - Invite guests who specialties range from biochemistry, archaeology, traumatic brain injuries, ancient civilisations - spends 45 minutes discussing psychedelic drug use.
salman k By contrast, Jews from all over the world immigrated to Israel, including (so I'm told) practically all Ethiopian Jews. And still it seems that people think 'Jews' mean 'Ashkenazi' Jews
peter K You may not believe this, but the only Jews that denied the existence of black Jews are the ultra orthodox Jews; while the Zionists did accept us as Jews. The Nazis probably would not hurry to dismiss me as a non-Jew, because they would want to be thorough and get rid of every last Jew. But that is just speculation; although it is known that Nazis killed Jews in north Africa.
His theories are facinating, but i'm much more inclined to think that the ark of the covenant was just some bullshit myth rather than a nuclear-powered combat drone based on blueprints from atlantis. Ockham's razor, man!
Pseudonym25 Ockham's razor is about making decisions. When making a decision, choose the option that has the least amount of assumptions. When it comes to understanding reality, this doesn't apply, often reality is extremely bizarre and unlikely things are the norm, "truth is stranger than fiction".
AKS9 I noticed when I got home last night that my front door was ajar. Which is more likely; that I forgot to shut it behind me when I left the house, or that is was unlocked by martians?
Graham Hancock is a very brilliant man as is Joe Rogan. Glad to see there are still people out there that are open minded enough to hear thing's like a person is a crackpot, or an idea is stupid and yet still want to see to have there own opinion.
what if consciousness has been trapped on earth for since it creation and it invades the human or capable beings and we are all ancient souls, a reverse reincarnation if you will, screw the closed minded fools who think this is fake, i guarantee they didnt even finish the show
Hancock is one of my favorite writers. Isn't it interesting that he says how he as been oriented from the periphery ,, and then the story begins working for the Economist, entering Ethiopa under fire, sounds like a big jump?

+Jay Weasel i would say conduct science with tempered focus on it (its not the key to everything) rather than ask it
Joe's expression for the first ten minutes is of a guy who has blazed far too hard and is struggling to keep up with the conversation, ha ha
Maza675 yeah ,,hahaha like "DUUUH"
+Maza675 LMFAO. he's like 'oh fuck, now I'm in some shit"
Maza675 haha such an accurate statement!
This comment got me so dead oh my god😂😭 he looks SO FRIED😭😂😭😂😭😂
Watched the whole thing without a pause, amazing interview, enjoyed every second of that! Nice one Joe!
It's cool that Joe genuinely looks interested and immersed in the conversation. Not just fake nodding like most interviewers.
Watching in 2024
Orthodox = by the book.
By the book = only within this book can one find the truth. Anything else is mere speculation or pure fantasy.
Orthodoxy within science and religion casts them both in the same role. One is no wiser than the other. Science becomes nothing more than yet another orthodox religion when it is limited by such constraints.
Well said.
JeffTheDude777 :-)
substance truth ethically perceived protects from this orthodontic possibility. Just a couple of tools amongst many.
There is no such thing as orthodox science. Just like there are no schisms in science...if you're wrong it's because someone proved it, and we move on. Simple.
So incredibly well said
Here after the Dibble debate 😄
Been feeling a little closed minded lately so I gotta refresh with Graham's help
I loved this interview. Graham Hancock is a great man. Joe... as always brilliantly done...Thank you ....xXx...
From a broom cupboard to £50m contract with Spotify, good going Joe👌
wow, rogan seems baked beyond all belief. lol. atta boy joe
+Dianna Skare Agree with you on that.
Graham Hancock is really an intelligent person and the perfect guest for Joe's podcast.
Hope season 2 wich starts today blows all there hats off again Grahem. Fantastic 💪👍
Who's listen this in 2022? 🎧
I've spent 25
years studying tax law and the Federalist Papers and the Constitution
along with every Supreme Court Case involving the income tax and the
16th amendment.. You have an opinion that is not based in study or fact.
That is excuse enough to let you pay the illegally enforced income tax
all by yourself. Knock yourself out.
Open airprison. Human farm
This podcast changed my life.
"You shall know the truth, and the truth shall set you free!" and
"Do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind". These and many other treasures from the bible are some of my favourite teachings.
Duncan does some serious beard stroking through this whole interview. haha
Hahah he barely even speaks. That's a first for ol dunc
have you seen all the ruins in South Africa? there are millions of stone ruins that are older that 38,000 years..
more like 10,000/12,000
there much older than that.
No your the fraud, and all those dates are verifiable... Idiot..
How baked does Rogan look at around 50:40?
+lostinbrisbane He's ripped the whole way through, Like I am every time I watch graham's stuff.

lol i noticed too
lostinbrisbane lmao
Really enjoyed this talk. Am currently reading Fingerprints of the Gods, and loving every page.
good for you friend.
The moon itself was created from an impact
***** I see you everywhere xD that research
Ryukey Well it’s a known fact ET impacts have caused massive damage and extinction on earth, so a meteor or comet impacting earth during an ice age could cause an extreme chain reaction which could easily and efficiently erase a civilization with things such as meltwater floods, rapid rising and falling in temperatures and any other climate changes, increase in sea levels, isostatic depression/ rebound, nuclear winter, wildfires, etc. My point being I would say its a bit of a stretch to say its unlikely for a comet impact to wipe out a civilization considering all the possible scenarios it could initiate and how instant they would be.
joes head was so tiny here :)
Joe looks entirely different now
Joe just want stop to amaze me.
Sadistikskins Pretty dope, I'm going to try that. Thanks.
Mighty Thoth
Ahh wonderful idea. Thanks for the tip man. :)
@@Sadistikskins lol @ «medicated»
Joe Rogan Show - Invite guests who specialties range from biochemistry, archaeology, traumatic brain injuries, ancient civilisations - spends 45 minutes discussing psychedelic drug use.
I'm glad he mentioned the little known fact of 'black Jews'.
salman k By contrast, Jews from all over the world immigrated to Israel, including (so I'm told) practically all Ethiopian Jews. And still it seems that people think 'Jews' mean 'Ashkenazi' Jews
melese1988
jews are followers of Judaism race is irrelevant only racist zionists, black hebrew isrealists and nazis will tell you otherwise.
peter K You may not believe this, but the only Jews that denied the existence of black Jews are the ultra orthodox Jews; while the Zionists did accept us as Jews.
The Nazis probably would not hurry to dismiss me as a non-Jew, because they would want to be thorough and get rid of every last Jew.
But that is just speculation; although it is known that Nazis killed Jews in north Africa.
@@melese1988it’s definitely speculation, because there’s no reason to think they were trying to do that.
I keep coming back for a refresher course before going to sleep. Dec 2024
All of this just makes me so happy. Love you Joe, you the realest
Who's here in 2022?

Wow this podcast was fucking awesome
Pseudonym25 I'd put that under the making decision thing
Graham Hancock is a very brilliant man as is Joe Rogan. Glad to see there are still people out there that are open minded enough to hear thing's like a person is a crackpot, or an idea is stupid and yet still want to see to have there own opinion.
what if consciousness has been trapped on earth for since it creation and it invades the human or capable beings and we are all ancient souls, a reverse reincarnation if you will, screw the closed minded fools who think this is fake, i guarantee they didnt even finish the show
Consciousness is everywhere at different levels, it's not 'trapped' anywhere.
Okay, I've come to understand that. Don't be condescending man, I'm expressing my opinion like almost everyone else does on the internet
I'm not being condescending at all, I've only told you what I know. It's hard to express oneself accurately through the internet in text.
Alright man, I apologize. It is hard, I suppose thats why people bicker so much in the comments, regardless of the video
No problem. Yeah that's probably a reason but truth be told, a lot of people are downright assholes to each other on the internet for no real reason.
the dude on the right doesn't need to be there. distracting
This didn’t age well lol. Duncan is the perfect person to be there
@@Adamjboss187what happened to Duncan? Don’t think I’ve seen him before.
joe rogan has a fleshlight behind him
Hancock is one of my favorite writers. Isn't it interesting that he says how he as been oriented from the periphery ,, and then the story begins working for the Economist, entering Ethiopa under fire, sounds like a big jump?
I love this talk session! really great stuff ! you guys are the people we need running our country! never stop !
Lets all take a moment to thank psychedelics for everything they've done for us
The little bearded freak on the right looks absolutely frazzled!!! To much dmt before work.
Harsh, but true.
The dude looks like he smoked two joints just before he smoked two joints.
Yuri Al Deadsoon
what? why?
FTWofc
i don't see it.
hahahaha that little bearded freak is drunkin truffles, and he is a ray of sunshine!!
Better to shut up and listen than to interrupt like Brian Redban :-P
ive listened to this like 5 or 6 times haha. here we go again
It does give great spiritual insight :) It's spiritual teachings are the ones that truly have the effect
