The archeological community's response to Graham reminds me of my mother's response when she didn't have a good answer..."because I said so". No one should ever shy away from a debate. Its always an opportunity for someone to learn.

Have actually sought out what the “archeological community” says about him or are you just listening to what Graham represents them as ? He draws you in by saying he has forbidden knowledge and they’re trying to silence him because he knows he has no proof

I can’t believe these two latest videos don’t have way more views. Everyone needs to watch these. The wealth of knowledge Graham has is astounding.. the way he just rattles off names, dates, places, etc so easily and I can barely remember what I had for breakfast. Just incredible. What an interesting, intelligent and open minded man. 👏🏼

@@Slipperygecko390 He knows quite a lot about the things he names. He is purposefully pushing against the paradigm, and people dislike that because it is an emotional response to having their frame of reference about history challenged. What it boils down to, is that conventional history as we know it is unsatisfactory to explain certain things from our past, and that is what Graham Hancock is interested in unearthing. Isn't that was Science is about? Asking questions and theorizing the answers?

Josh and Kendall, first of all, congratulations on inviting Graham to your show. I have been following Graham's work for a long time and know his lectures almost by heart. The second thing is, and this is very important, you let your guest do the talking. That's not always easy as a moderator, but extremely pleasant for the viewer. He seems to have concluded that there was an advanced civilization that existed way before academia will allow. He can even be quoted as saying he believes Gobekli Tepe and many sites around the world were aligned to to astronomical bodies and one can deduce when these structures were built based on this. Why do people keep repeating that GH is just asking questions? Just asking.

He isn't impressed because he is formally educated in those subjects. So when he hears absolute horse hockey from the likes of these bull ish artists he has no patience for it. You should respect your husbands professional opinion and believe he knows more then you or these snake oil salesmen. Just some advice. Take it or leave it.

You would find little more than shipping manifests.
Alexandria was a main shipping port of the Mediterranean.
At least 95-99% of the confiscated written media that went through the city would be shipping manifests.
That's not to say such information is not important to those in power at the time, and to the overall study of ancient economics - but it's not exactly going to give us a concrete understanding of the Bronze Age Collapse either.

One thing that confuses me is the point about henges/Stonehenge - Graham defines henge as to do with the earthworks but henge is definitely from Old English for ‘hinge’ based on the way the lintel stones are placed together. A “henge” is a formation of the earth with the rock formation but it’s etymology is more about the structure physically than what archaeology site to define it as e.g henge, pyramid etc. I didn’t get what his argument was there in the bigger picture of it.

Aside from his encyclopaedic knowledge of archaeology, GH has a widely encompassing Imagination that feeds Science, and that's quite different from Fantasy. Some say he's only in it for the money but that's what funds his explorations. He hasn't discovered a single new archaeological site in his entire life.

Nah, modern archaeologists preserve as much as possible.
I'd worry vastly more about land developers and national govmts wanting to level the land to make way for rail tracks and roads as the British did in India during their occupation which sadly destroyed much of what remained above ground of Harappa.
