good list. Some other items I like to keep in mine and consider essential; Some k95 masks, earplugs, good pair of slip-joint pliers, and a basic file set.
Thanks Jon. Kids gave me a Klein bag for Father’s Day. The one with the light. I would not have bought it as I’m just a weekend warrior but I’m darn proud of it! It got filled pretty fast but you helped me figure out the correct contents. Many options but I think a small flashlight is a good addition too. Thanks again. Stay safe.
Excellent core tool overview Jon-san. One of these videos I'd love to see how to make a small tool bag like that one. Good size for many jobs. Thanks for your continued good quality work brother!
The fact that 90% of the tools have tape on them means this guy is using them and can identify them if dropped or taken onsite and that's a guy who knows what he is talking about
I wore my combination square down so much I could barely read it during the years I spent working with structural steel......It's still alive and going still but it's actually parts from 3 different squares now.
@@RightOnJonCrane Awesome. Thanks for the fast reply! I love how your sets feel like a set because of the identifiable green. Going to consider doing that for my toolboxes/sets.
Been using a tool box for years for around the home and I can't stand it, the bottom layers slip out if tilted wrong and is disorganized. The handle really digs into the hand as well. I will have to give these tool bags a try.
Oh man! I’m so done with the toolboxes. The bag is great. Nice and soft on finished floors. Comfortable to carry. I love the bags! Thanks for watching!
Im about half way through the video and there have only been two tools i dont own. (Channel lock pliers and a square) Ive been putting together a good toolbox for around the house after there was a few things i couldnt do because i didnt have the right tools. I said to myself i don't wanna be in that situation anymore and really needed a proper tool set, so ive been getting everything i need for the past month or so and will carry on getting some more stuff until ive got all the tools i need. Also, there have been some projects ive wanted to start for years and I've not been able to because i don't have all the tools. I'm gonna be able to start those projects soon.
you prolly dont give a shit but if you guys are bored like me during the covid times you can watch pretty much all the latest movies on InstaFlixxer. I've been watching with my girlfriend recently xD
An amazing amount of things can be cut with this small folding saw. I have gone through a few of them now. It’s gets a lot of use. Things cut with this saw. - Shims - Insulation board - Spray foam insulation (Trimming) - flooring notches - pex plumbing pipe - Tree limbs - rubber hose - Electrical conduit (pvc) - I love this saw. amzn.to/3RS382C
Hi! That is a Florida Coast bag. Unfortunately I don’t see it on Amazon any longer but I do see it for sale on the internet from other suppliers. Canvas riggers bag from R&W rope. Later this fall I’m coming out with my own canvas tool bag. Keep an eye out. Should be out around thanksgiving. 🙌 🛠️
Hi Jon, what type of bag is shown in this video, please? And this is a good starter selection you got there. Hope your all keeping well , best wishe's to you and your's, Stuart.uk
Hi Stuart! I’m glad you asked. I forgot to say the name in the video. It is made by a company called Florida Coast. It’s a nice little bag. Only around $20. I found this one on Amazon. Thanks and best wishes to you and your family as well! 👍🏼
It’s a nice bag but Bucket Boss stopped making it. Florida Coast makes one that is close. I am working on my own design and will be selling in the next few months. 👍
Having a set of dedicated screwdrivers in various sizes readily available can be more convenient than frequently changing bits on a multi-bit driver, especially in scenarios where quick access to specific screwdrivers is essential.
Nice set of basic tools, but would like to add on a putty knife and a goog pair of gloves
Right on Raymond! Thank for that suggestion. I like the idea of adding those items! 🧤
Tin snips are the best for kid’s birthdays or Christmas when opening presents lol
That bag would cover so many jobs! Excellent list of tools! Thanks Jon!
Right On John! You’re right! Just some simple tools but the jobs that can be done are endless. 👍🏼

The most complete setup on TH-cam.

Made a “go bag” for my truck with exactly these tools. Find myself using them almost everyday, thank you.
I'm surprised that I didn't see any Locking Pliers.. nice tools definitely a must have 👌🗿
Ah that’s good! I’m going to do an updated version of this video and I’ll include some vise grips! 🙌
He called the slip joints channel locks. No lock on them slip joints. Slips slip, they don’t lock. 😋
I'd just add a flashlight!
Nice video there!
Great bag.
Thanks Alan!!! 👍🏼👍🏼
That is a good set you can tackle almost anything. I might have added some different types of tape but then I would have been over 20.
Very helpful, all makes sense. Thank you.

Great review of the starter tool bag, all tools Right On the money.

What are you using for the green wraps?
Hi! I’m using green heat shrink tubing. I bought it in several different sizes. amzn.to/3YRvR9D

Great, there's no overprice tools there.. 🎉
you have to start with the martinez hammer. That is the first item that anyone should be buying.

Thanks. Appreciated. I think there is a "tool gene" or something. Some people have it, some don't.
Right George! I think I must have it! 🤣😂😃👍🏼

@Easton Ronan yea, I've been using instaflixxer for since november myself :D
I think with all the tools listed, that will get the vast majority of work done for the average or intermediate homeowner.
Add a box cutter
He included one.

What is the brand of the little tool bag ? Is that a Harbor Freight Riggers bag ?

Where is the link to the drillbits? I have a cheapo set of Ryobi bits and I’d like some thing better. Thanks, you’re a great resource!
Right on Emily! 👍🏼 That’s a good question! I will post a link on my website today! That’s a good set of bits for a good price. 👍🏼
Staple guns and glue guns are good to have

You need a Vise grip,
You’re right!! 🙌👍 Right on! Thanks for watching! I just got one that has a knife built into it. 😳😁
Good combination, but quit old tools. I recommend gloves and mask against dust (sewing, painting etc.)
Right On! 🙌 Yes, it’s a basic set of tools but get the job done. 👍 A mask and gloves is a good addition! Do you have a favorite pair of gloves?
Great video 👍 where can I get that bag? It looks durable and lightweight 🙂

Why buy a screwdriver set in addition to a multi-bit driver?

@@ToolsSetBox sounds like an operating room surgery situation. lol
