i've been doing that this month! it's been so much fun and i forgot just how much harder the original pokemon games are in comparison to the recent releases.
@@TalCat me too, i’ve restored my old gba sp and bought som bootleg cartridges stuffed with all the roms (because i lost my old cartridge) and i’ve played through emerald so, know i started playing Crystal again
@@drksquash that's awesome! i've been playing crystal on my original GBC as that's what i originally played it on and it's a weird feeling to not see the screen so easily all of the time lmao. oh, emerald is great! i wanted to replay that one but started with Red version first and am now at Crystal. hope you're having fun with your games!

This was a collab I would have never imagined ever happening as I've been watching both The Retro Future and Mr. Beast before they got big. Also those Gameboy look crazy, I bet a lot of time and effort was put into designing the shells

@JOSHUA TRACY mine is the original because I always liked the color of it. I only have a Gameboy color and a Gameboy Advance but have always wanted to buy an original Gameboy to mod it with a back-lit display.
@JOSHUA TRACY yeah, I honestly wouldnt care which system it was as long as it had a backlight or ips display. At that point, I would only really care about the new display because from what it seems, most models after the original DMG were backwards compatible with the past model's games.
