Thank you everyone for joining us on this journey! We had a lot of fun facilitating the creation of this series with Elliot and I'm sure we'll see him again someday 👀👀
Thanks Sendico!! The series was great!! I only have one question? Your new "sniper bid"? How does it work? Do i automatically overbid someone who overbids the current price of the auction up until the maximum of my sniper bid? And if so, how does the normal "bid button" work? I've been trying to e-mail you guys a couple of times but to no avail... Could you guys maybe help me with this?
@@boladan2896 Sniper will simply place your max bid 5 minutes before the end of the listing. Regular bidding will perform the same action, but as soon as you place the bid. Hope this helps!
I had a similar experience earlier this year; I spent 2 months touring Japan with my band but I don't drink or party, I just like playing video games. So I went to all the Book Offs and Hard Offs I could find. It was life-changing and watching this series allowed me to re-live that experience. So good. I hope you get to go back again soon, too!
Doesn't matter how bad my days been, sitting and watching your clips makes everything all OK . Your living the dream mate. Love watching all the things you do. Good luck for the future, hope your youtube chanel gets more and more popular. You deserve absolute success in all you do 🤘🥸🤘
The majority of us would love to do this journey mate, but never will so thanks to Sendico for helping you make it happen and huge thanks to you for taking us along x
Man... Your videos are so real. I know I'm a year late but having grown up in Japan and hearing your stories of not just game hunting but adventures and detours is so magical, keep up the good work I enjoy your content so much.
Having never known of Sendico before you using them, thank you. It appears they're not only an incredibly reliable service but some super cool people to bring you over to Japan to visit and treasure hunt for retro goods. Thank you Elliot for the fun series and thank you Sendico for allowing this to happen. Seriously, these were some of the most enjoyable videos you've made
I'm also sad that this series has come to an end Elliot! You've such a cool knack for these type of vlogs, and it's a joy to see. Being a self confessed obsessive with Japan and all things retro, you really made something amazing to watch and also look forward to. Can't wait for your next project!
I've loved this series because back when I was stationed in Japan it quickly became a weekend ritual for me to go to the nearest 3-4 Hobby Offs/Hard Offs that I could drive to and I had found so many neat things just rummaging around. Its good to see others do something similar.
Oh Super Potato is a blast from the past for me, I remember hearing about them several years ago thanks to Kenny Omega, I believe it was when he and the Young Bucks were doing the Being the Elite series while still in Japan, so it was nice to see that place on video again. Would love to eventually head out to Japan and see the shop for myself.
Yeah can we all stop please with the clickbaity titles.. a lot of people doing this lately that don't support clickbaiting but it's really getting kind of annoying
I just came across this channel and this series by far has been one of the coolest retro series I have seen! I enjoyed a lot these vlogs and all the amazing stuff that can be seen throughout these stores. Pls keep sharing more cool content!
So madly jealous of your adventures in Japan, being able to witness all of this authentic tech. I've been in love with gameboy and nintendo since I could walk, and watching your videos has brought that joy back into my life! Amazing job!
Thank you Sendico for everything you done for everyone, we really appreciate everything you have done. Thank you The Retro Future for an stunning series.
Awesome video as always, and gets me really excited for my upcoming (second) trip to Japan in just over two months. It's virtually impossible to go there and *not* have the best time of your life. Glad you got to go, hope you get to go back soon, and thanks Sendico for helping Elliot experience this journey!
I'm happy to have seen the end of this series only 2 weeks away from going there myself.byouve given me and my brother (especially my brother) many suggestions on places to go, so now half of our trip is just going to be going to game stores. Love your work, and I hope you get to go back
Sendico! Can’t wait to see the total haul! What am incredible adventure you were able to experience. Thank you for documenting it and sharing it with us.
Honestly, this series is responsible for me getting my second 3ds through Sendico for a steal, so sad to see this series go but so happy it was made in the first place, and introducing myself and others to the wonders of Sendico and Japan's retro console scene.
Sendico of course! I watch all your videos all the way thru. What a wonderful experience for you and I'm glad you got to have it. I hope to go there someday!
My favorite series on youtube coming to a beautiful ending. Very well put together videos with breathtaking footage telling a story while also finding amazing retro Nintendo systems. Love everything about this series and hope to go to Japan myself one day.
Just finished watching this Japan series. Absolutely brilliant :) Keep the fantastic videos coming Elliot :) Already signed up to Sendico and am looking to bring some GBC and GBM over for my collection
Thank you for taking us on your journey. I love all of your content. I look forward to your new videos whenever you post them. I watch all of your content first over all of my subscriptions, both the main and second channels. An idea came to me when I saw the Gameboy selfie, use it as your second channel photo!
What a great series of videos! I’ve been following for a few years now and it’s great to see you getting opportunities like this, very well deserved too! Looking forward to what will come in the next couple years!
Loved the series, really interesting to see the retro scene in Japan. I think a combo of TH-cam vids and my sister visiting this Autumn will make me plan a trip in the not too distant future!
Sendico!!! This was such an amazing series. its so cool to see how much more the people over there actually treasure older technology. finding stuff like that over here is a god send if you find it... Sounds like you had such a great trip!
Loving the boxed Famicom Twin. And I've loved this series. It looks like you have had such an amazing time and discovered so much. I hope you get to go back someday. And thanks to Sendico for helping make it happen.
Really amazing that they offered you an opportunity like this!! I've been meaning to do it for a while, but now i will definitely look forward to get stuff off of Sendico!
Found your channel through this series. Sad its ending but I am happy that I found your channel! You earned a new subscriber and I am definitely going to be tuning in. I am also going to Japan in Nov so these vlogs helped me learn so much about HardOffs/Retro Game Hunting so thank you!!! Keep up the work.
Thank you Sendico for giving all of us a giant Hard Off for quite some time. It was a fantastic series and it changed my thoughts on Japan because I never knew you could find such deals all throughout Japan. I thought it was just in Akihabara.
I always wanted to go to Japan even since a little kid. It is not just the Anime or the tech or the cars it is also just how Japan is laid out. I love all the jampacked cities, small alleys with amazing hidden stores, cool neon signs everywhere and vending machines in the middle of nowhere and the fact that so many important things from my childhood came out of that country. I won't be able to go until I get my first well paying full time job but I know it will be a very emotional experience.
I genuinely loved this series, I personally loved the way you made it as well. Not like some generic blogging series with poor editing but a well crafted and well established series of videos about travelling to see retro equipment and more, also. Nice editing.
Much love for sharing all that and for sendico for making it happen! cant wait for my first trip to japan next year. i can not wait! thanks for sharing your experiences Elliot!
sendico!!! i'VE watched the whole series now in preparation for our Nov trip to japan!! thank you for getting up close to the gameboy SPs in the cabinet so i was able to google translate their condition descriptions
You have to go back again, this series was epic, inspiring, humourous and informative with awesome photography and well edited videos/music. Almost feel like I was there with you, even got weirdly emotional when you said it was your last day so I must be going well soft in my old age. Cheers again
sendico sendico sendico, I've been watching this series from the start and it has to be my favorite on the channel. Probably b/c it's the only series on the channel, but whatever. I can't wait to see the things you bought in future videos! :)
Amazing series Elliot, you must be so proud. Reminda me of my trip to Japan a few years ago, I went to a couple of Super Potatos and Hard Offs. Really appreciate that you showed more of Japan than just the retro games.
Looks like you had an amazing time. I worked as an English teacher there in 2007 - 2008 and loved going through the hard offs and retro stores there, so much I never knew existed like that pioneer sega system!
