You can tell this is the PS2 home port of the game, the clue is in the voice acting, in this version it's more refined and actually sounds good, meanwhile the arcade version had really cheesy voice actors, making this more akin to a cheesy dubbed martial arts classic.
Ahh makes sense I was just watching the arcade version the graphics looks closer to psx style similar to Time Crisis 2 and Crisis Zone and the PS2 version has better voice acting and smooth graphics.
I've just ruined this game for myself by realising that the PAL version has slowdown and runs at 5/6 speed. All the Americans and Japanese watching this video will be wondering why everything is in slow-motion.
also i would say it has some similarities to house of the dead(gameplaywise of course) but i really don't see anything similar to virtua cop.(virtua cop being the absolute best light gun shooter i have ever played).btw i have a world record on virtua cop on sega saturn on hardest but it's on vhs.i will upload it some day though.let's hope everything is ok.
Hey Smraedis. First off, I tried for months to beat your 2 million time crisis 2 run, which is just pure insanity. 1.7 mil is the closest I got. So much respect for your shooting, you really know how to put them down. What did you record this with. I record with an Elgato HD on component and it seems to really have trouble recording this game. It could be my computer or the fact that I've tried with two people and two guns, so there's a lot of flashing. I ask you because you're the only person I can find who has recorded this with guncon 2. Thanks for the help and again, keep up the beautiful work.

Cheesy?... dude.. the arcade version sounds more Japanese English to it. Ps2 is just a redub.

Edit: Also, at that time, the maximum hit count caps at 99, right (like Time Crisis 2 and 3), then at Time Crisis 4, they removed the 99 hit cap...
