The iliac surgery is a thing - it’s due to DVT and reduces blood returning to the heart from the leg. There are many causes of DVT there and sometimes it just happens (about 40% of cases). It can require surgery to the blood vessel. And, it can require repeat surgery as she has had. It’s not cheating and no different to having a plate, say, on a #clavicle. However…. it does open the door to TUI during the recovery period including reducing future recurrence of fibrosis. And that can include treatments normally considered performance enhancing. She certainly deserves to be able to have the vein problem treated and to compete. However…. Complicated stuff…
It cant be a coincidence that so many riders become much stronger after recovering from serious illness or injury. Presumably, under medical supervision all kinds of substances can be legitimately ingested…then continued post-recovery in the form of TUEs. 🤷♂️
Can't speak for these riders but it is a thing in sport. Most athletes work out too hard for too long. It's not just recovery from a workout for a hard week, it takes a physical and mental tole over time, sometimes over years. Then the accident or injury happens, and it doubles as a forced recovery, and they get reset physically, and mentally.
When I first started taking pain killers….i had PR’s that I still can’t beat. I know I know-they are downers but that got me crunk and I could focus so good and push thru pain. I did find myself wondering what was going on while watching her performance. To pull out 30 seconds of a gap in half a lap on some of the best in the world was just unbelievable. It's not as though it was a mid season race where maybe it could be explained away by riders being at different points in their training, every rider would have been looking to peak for the Olympics. Part of me was suspecting her preference for the hardtail MTB was because it allowed the use of a motor in the frame which wouldn't be as simple to do with a full sus
Tokyo 2020, 4 years ago -> France came in 8th overall with 10 golds, 10 silver, 20 bronze. Paris 2024 -> France is second overall with 11 golds, 12 silvers and 13 bronze. Selfie Lappartient is becoming quite the friend of this channel. Bjarne Riis will be jealous.
0:45. Albert de Monaco is French for Carl Lewis? Wow!
YOU WILL LOVE ITTTTTT 🤖
Not surprised innnnnn the least. I called her and TommyBoy being on the high octane fuel for this race and KNEW they would win the way they did.
Hell ya! Let's hear about pushy little Pidders!
With men who take steroids, the ban should be as long as it takes according to medical science, for all lasting advantages to diminish. For women who take steroids, the changes are permanent and irreversible, and as a result they should be banned for life
Not being funny… but seeing how well France are doing in the Olympics… I think we should be questioning the integrity of their sporting program
Home field advantage?
@@dangurtler7177Perhaps? Perhaps not?… We will never know
she's tiny!
Well,what you expect?A 100kg girl?
Greek athletes only did well at major events like the Olympics. When it became possible to detect certain drugs, their top performers had a motorcycle accident and went home. Prevot only appears at championships...
Just to be old fashion have you got any hard evidence of this ? As you make money from you tube making accusations without providing any evidence at all .
Any acussations in this. Look at our last video for evidences and acussations.
I want to see pidcocks secret
It has become obvious that you just can’t compete at those levels and win without doping!!
Little British multitool.... perfect
Piddlecock the little street urchin is doped up to the eyeballs
…the multi tool with an extra screw? Do tell.
Always the Rabobank bees 🐝
Just in time
Gold rallied just in time
I think even Fabio Aru did the same surgery around 6 years ago
Yes
FANTASTIC😂 ❤ IT!!!😅
Fortunately Uncle's analysis saves me from having to watch another of cycling's bogus races. Records are falling everywhere...except the pool...
A Chinese guy and couple of others have smashed wr in the pool and have become notable outliers from the pool average times
@@Foxtrottangoabcand many of us don't think he's clean.
The new trend is micro dosing.
Artery I think , not vein
The Union of Corrupt Infidels always supporting those that show generosity
They are clean as the riders of course........not!
ironic it was Ineos and those english doctors.
Gillette shaving blades will sponsor her.
Waiting to see Marion Rousse lover hitting podium or even gold on Sunday
And how did that work out? What happened to the conspiracy theories?
Video gold! ( jaw dropped)
Lazy journalism here…..you could literally smear anyone in any peloton if you so wished. This person knew this doctor or used to know this other rider… or has recovered from a surgery ….. or had a selfie with this person.
Just stoking the rumour mill I’m afraid. Pidcocks performances seem credible however,( a prodigy since being v young) and doesn’t seem to be able to back up great performances day after day consistent with someone prone to feeling the effects of fatigue .
The difference between you and us is that we have info and if we don't tell more is because to didn't disturb the authorities' investigations. But a lot of things Will show up and at least, our info help a lot of ppl in their Jobs. That's our lazy journalism.
Cycling highlights collects information that the public would not be aware of . See cycling highlights is priceless
@cyclinghighlights is one credible channel with real aspects of dirtiest and more currupted than ever cycling in last 2 decades.
Btw
Pidcock is one the weirdiest perfomer with extreme hights&lows in just few weeks stretch in the whole peloton. (next to WvA a MvDP of course)
@@marekcernansky8811 Pidcock is slightly different. He can’t perform day in day out like WvA ,MvDP,Poggy, Vinny etc. He seems to have to rely on the route profile of a race and whether it lends itself to his qualities , for example Str Bianche or daring alpine decents where handling skills are an important factor. Also in road cycling I’ve never seen him completely dominate the peloton , he’s able to choose“the moment” very well. For me his performances are far more feasible?
Problem with the channel is that they will always say “ we know Stuff but can’t say what it is “ which allows them to make all sorts of claims and accusations without being challenged.
btw …. Like most cycling fans I would love cycling to be clean ( but doubt v much)🙁
@@andrewsando7355 well, there many way to "explain his ups&downs, but here what @cyclinghighlights points out is very relative. Especially mega improvments just 2 weeks "after Covid19" when nobody undergos doping tests. Well, well
I can give you a hint for nr. heart surgeries T.Pidcock will go through when aged round 30+. You find out same as Viviani, Aru, Stybar, Corbrelli and many many others after their best seasons.
Tiny Tom Pidcock 😂😂
Im only 5 8 but thats funny
You're not okay
I donno if its the dramatic narration or its the things being said. Dylan's ok the side catching strays about his podcast 😂😂😂 I hate you guys.
Whilst these videos are funny: they are based on insinuation rather than fact. If you are going to question the basis or a rider's performance (which is legitimate) you do need to offer more compelling evidence.
I'm not questioning anything here. Just saying after iliac operation she flies again. It's an evidence. With that, you could take some things TUE in hand. All legal. It's a trick, but all legal.
@@cyclinghighlightsplease name 1 “thing” as you put it , that you can get a TUE for and “fly” as you say, name 1. You can’t get one for epo, testosterone, growth hormone, doesn’t exist.
this is bs, cyclist are regularly tested for doping
Anything good to say?
Mmm
She has good contacts
WAMEN! GODDAMN!
They've got dudes beating up women on live TV at the Olympics. Bet there isn't any doping controls. Poor Pogi he could have done the Olympics after all 🤣
In cycling controls are others
I can’t stand her and her whiny voice.. Ever since she had a go at Evie Richard’s a few years back cos Evie was kicking her arse, so she said Evie was too aggressive! Strangely found a huge amount of speed as she’s got older 🤔
SkyTeam and Evian 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Just another online Troll...put up some facts or shut up
That could be used for you too
Superb 👏😂
Oh the classic ever conspiracy theorist. Well get the antidoping tests then.
Which ones? The Lance ones? Tested negative in his era, epo disolved fast
What kind of drugs did you take?
A lot of alcohol. Everyday.
@@cyclinghighlights yes you must have been pretty drunk to come up with this with no real facts! The Olympics is different to the world cups because there is only 30 people in each race and most of them are not very competive anyway.
👍🏿
This comes across to me as a big smear on this gold medal winner…
