Yuuuup. Number 1 hit hard once I realized these formulas were trash and I wasted time and effort on them. 😂😂😂😂 Then I got mad at God for something he never told me to do💀🤦🏾♀️ THEN my good intentions/Godly practices went from doing them to please God to doing them to earn something from God. Lord help us all.
I am 34 years old going on 35 never married no kids. I always have been taught all my life in church You're going to grow up You're going to have a Godly family for a man finds a wife finds him a good thing. For me being single I am blessed in so many ways so many hobbies and my dreams have been fulfilled. I love working on my electronics my speakers fluorescent lights I have my own little radio station praise God my dreams I came true I'm happy and content but the only dream that has not come true is a spouse. I am not saying it's too late but at 34 years old it kind of makes you wonder?
You don't feel awkward being single around people that are married with kids? I'm 30 and stopped going to church for a year and half because I didn't like feeling less than or like a sinner
@@tj139 I used too feel awkward out of place at church years ago. Truth is most churches these days cater more too married people than single people. Forgetting Jesus and the disciples we're single. I've noticed people tend to treat you differently when you are single seems like they only hang around those that are married. It's very easy feel awkward to feel like an outcast a square. It is interesting that most churches do not teach not everybody has a gift of marriage or a gift of singleness.
I’ve been single my whole life. I never had a boyfriend ( not even as a teenage girl). I learn to spend that energy chasing God and not my flesh. When we let our sexuality dictate our lives. I think a lot of us Christians get marriages to have sex without guilt. I think we need to talk about how to not let our sexuality rule us.
Number 4 is an eye opener. I believed that if you desire a marriage that glorifies God, then that desire comes from the Lord - please explain if I misunderstood
So that point was saying that, gates a big leap of thinking that doesn't come from the bible. We just desire things naturally. But somehow we think our desires and God's will is one in the same but that's not supported by any scripture
The Blessing Report Studios ahh I see what you are saying! Thank you so much for this video! Another lie the church tells us singles is that WE need to prepare our selves for marriage. We need to go to these conferences, read this book, do this do that... and am like, nah.
I stay single for a reason so I don't get hurt again. It seems less of a hassle having a girlfriend especially in church when they try making me go with them to church and usually gets mad fast when I don't go. I am so sick of marriage and relationship sermon that it makes it worse at my pure disdain for even ever get another girlfriend, they're all the same thing they are and usually just cheat on me.
Paul didn't tell people that they would be happier or better Christians if they were single. He said that if you were blessed with the "gift" that he had you could do more in that capacity as a Christian than someone who had a wife and a family could. For the others he stated it would be better to marry than to "burn" with desire. IF you are a Christian trying to live a Christlike life and you are constantly consumed with sexual urges and lust you wont be an effective Christian. And no God wont magically get rid off your sex drive. Yes marriage is about sex. Its about providing a stable and righteous way of exercising the desires that God gave us and glorifying him through that rather than drifting into fornicating and adultery. List all the benefits of marriage besides sex and each one of them you can obtain through an extra martial source without entering into sin. To be honest with you I am puzzled about all these "lies" you list because many of them I have never heard coming from the church. Most of what I heard was the church shaming single Christians who were unhappy about their singles lives and telling them that Paul said it was better to be single (If all Christians followed that advice Christianity would die out in a single generation).
That's sort of true, but you can't fulfill desires for intimacy and companionship with friends to the same degree you can with a spouse. So it's not like you get married for the purpose of uniquely fulfilling the sexual desires and no other ones.
@@lukyguy1240I agree. An average guy doesn’t stand a chance in this case he has no choice but to burn with passion. Gotta figure out what kind of passion? Passion comes in many forms. Okay if he’s talking bout burning sexual passion then I guess average guys have no choice in this area. 20 years ago yeah average guys stood a better chance than today.
unfortunately, again another message that starts out great about being single in the church, about being single and a Christian and eventually ends up talking about marriage. What I’m looking for are messages that are for single people that are not shaming or condemning single people. At this point in time in my life I have no interest in having a woman in my life intimately anyway. I am in no way shape or form saying that you were condemning or shaming singles. I am also not down on women I love women lol. I just have no desire to be married. I would like to find a church somehow that caters to people that are single because people that are married are catered to almost everywhere.
What happens if women don't wanna marry an unattractive guy then what? Then he have to use right hand fellowship because if it's true you will get blue balls you got the relief yourself somehow 😂

I’m 34 years old, not married. You are not alone.

Only God is “the one”. 💡

We need to prepare ourselves for the Second Coming of Christ

The church perpetuates this belief that married people are more #blessed and that’s why they got married, while singles are not blessed.

If you get into missions and evangelism you will find that
The background music is too loud... Great video though God bless
Glory be to God! Thank you so much for your support Muningandu
Paul also said it is better to marry than to burn. People! Get married.
I stay single what I do
@Tony Rowan You have no idea what the one woman I went to church with how she played me

That’s not a prescriptive passage for all Christians, it makes more sense that he is talking to engaged couples
Actually, I think the church increasingly works at keeping people alone and disconnected. Small groups create cliques in the church
