I pray for every heart that's hurting for a Godly spouse. Brothers and Sisters, I agree waiting is tough and good Christians seem to be nowhere in sight, but I will continue to believe that it's all in His timing. He' s faithful. The waiting is difficult, but it's truly how my faith has increased. And while I pray for my Godly spouse daily, I have fallen more in love with Jesus. I pray in the name of Jesus for every hurting heart. 💓💓💓
Thank you Delia for the prayer. They had an opportunity at church to pray and be anointed with oil and I did it because he just seems like there's a lot of stuff that I can only do with the strength of God a relationship being one of them. Remember that where we are weak in our own strength he is strong.

Church is one of the best places to meet someone? Ha, I wish! It should be, but it isn't. In a lot of churches, there seems to be a gap in the 20s-30s age group. Churches consist of people over the age of 60, teenagers and families. So if you're single and are hoping to be married or at least meet someone some day, there is literally nothing for you. There are no 'groups' for you to belong to, and this doesn't help with the 'networking' thing.
Even if you were to try other churches in your area, I don't know if it would yield good results, as people tend to sit in the same places, talk to the same people and they don't tend to talk to anyone outside their group, unless they're at a Bible study or prayer meeting. Basically, the reason why so many of us aren't getting married can be summed up in these 3 words: lack of opportunity. In the meantime, church leaders wax lyrical about timing and waiting on God, and making people feel that the reason why they're still single is because they're not mature enough - when in reality, the opportunities to meet someone are few and far between.

I'm a 50 year old woman. I have been divorced for 8 years now. Finding friendly people at church is even hard to come by these days. I just continue to pray, wait on God and make myself available.
I know the feeling. I'm 57 and meeting women for friendship has always been a challenge for me. Maybe because i love in So. California. Hopefully, the Lord will reveal a partner and more women friends when He knows the time is right. Good luck with finding more friends and a future life partner. I went to Bible studies and young adult groups I'm 33 and it just always seems like even in those groups where everybody is supposed to talk and share people split off and they don't really meet new people they spend time with the people that they know so it doesn't really help a group grow. Or leave much room for anything else . There was one girl in my group that I wanted to talk to and get her perspective on different scripture and she left and left me with all men so.
Francine, that is so true. The church has married, couples events, and children and youth events, yet hardly anything for Christian Singles. Its hard waiting, but His timing is perfect.
I recall a college professor sponsored a yearly get together for Asian Indians who lived in the Southeastern U.S. At these get togethers, people networked for jobs, bought and sold businesses and homes, looked for husbands and wives. I found this unique and totally cool, a model that our culture should emulate, since so many men and women alike complain that it's hard to find someone to date or potentially marry.

Maybe try connecting with a Christian community project outside of your church or attend another local church's event, like an open mic night, conference, bible study, etc. Just a thought 🤷🏾♀️

In my church is the same 😅, for some reason that point is always avoid it, but i think if you dont have a call to chastity, you could be proactive and look, you know camps, mission trips, activitys with other churchs and always with the guide of God you will find someone😊🙏

I've been a Christian since I was 27 and I'm now 37. I've prayed daily since then and as part of the daily prayers I've asked the Lord for a Godly Christian women like the one mentioned in proverbs 31. I do desire marriage and not the gift of singleness. I love God first above all things and I'm waiting for the Lord to send the right women in his time.
I've been active and tried on-line christian dating without success. I've asked women out but been rejected. There aren't any single dating christian events to attend in the city where i'm from so the opportunity to meet single christian women is extremely difficult if not impossible! In the church I attend the aren't any single women. Many of the churchgoers are elderly and those close to my age are already married. I just wait on the lord.

To be honest, it’s a lot of feminine men at the Churches I attend (I can’t stand to refer to someone as gay) the rest of the guys are married or elderly. Ahhh! It’s so hard. Will pray. Also, ask those who rejected you , why. We are to be more ready to listen than to speak. It could be dress, style, health, grooming. These aren’t sins nor are they bad. The Lord chose to move through David because he had a heart open to change. Maybe you need to lift weights a bit. Attend a Christian dating seminar. I am trying to go to Tony Gaskins seminar and maybe Mark will have one. Right there you can meet Godly people. Sometime it takes adjusting our health and style a bit. Long as you keep Jesus first and only.

Good thoughts/ points Mark ! My further comment would be that the churches in Malaysia predominantly consist of 1) senior citizens. 2) young families (who are about my age). 3) just out of college or teenagers.
There seems to be a gap for the millennials & I don’t think the churches here are doing a good job in creating opportunities for singles to meet. Sermons are focused on marriage, families missions etc. The best posture eventually is to trust that God has a good plan.

Great tips! It can be so different when you're seriously waiting and quite knowledgeable of the red flags. it takes so much more out of you. The wait really requires so much intentionality and focus. Dating will require aligning in prayer to ensure God reveals your purpose partner. Wishing all waiting, to be patient and strong, allow God to choose the right person for you. Remember, But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint” (Isa. 40:31).
I tried groups, and people are hesitant! Like they show no interest in dating. I gave up on groups and used Holy app and found her. Praise Jesus!

I am about 6 months in to being renewed in the spirit of my mind having gave up "recreational relationships" and choosing to be celibate until marriage. I am born again and spirit filled but not really a church kinda guy...I've never actually dated a Christian woman (a deal breaker going forward). My unsolicited advice: Don't be afraid to ask/knock when it seems like the right time. If you're attracted to someone and they seem like a good fit- make a move. You quickly adapt to that particular type of emotional risk which can be exhilarating and it's quite possibly the only way you'll meet that special someone that you'll actually be excited to spend the rest of your life with. God helps those who helps themselves, etc! BE BOLD

It's good to know this by mixing around more with other Christian's. But sometimes it's challenging to find out whose not interested in dating and those who are. That's why, I made that big mistake I will never forget. But your quite right but we should discern in seeing where that relationship goes too.

Exactly! People think Christians should marry other Christians just because they have the same belief. I had a friend who tried to set me up with a guy that I was not interested in. I explained to her that just because me and somebody share a belief in Christianity does not mean that we are compatible that I actually have to have a connection with the person.

On July 28th I meet my spiritual mom Nephew. We had a musical program and I don't know anything about him. My great granddad told me that I will soon meet him in a church. I don't know he loves poems bc I write poems too. He's 37 and I'm 37. We text every day and he goes to church and I go to church. He asks me questions I ask him questions. He told me that he wanted to talk to me when he first saw me. I prayed and prayed and prayed. I'm just more happy that he's is a minister a true man of God.

WOLVES in Sheeps' clothing. Single ministries take weekend trips together. Getting together and doing what comes naturally also includes non-Christian premarital XXX. True Christians aren't supposed to lead others into Non-Christian conduct. I've seen it happen more than once.
I agree with the overnight trips. Its wrong. Not all are called under the name of single ministries. But the same idea applies. I need time to pray and evaluate.
I did not hear this guy mention premarital sex with non-christians anywhere is his speech...I always find it amazing there are people so quick to judge and label someone as a wolf without actually listening to what the person actually says. God knows the true intention of the heart! “True” Christians forgive, lift up other Christians and display God’s grace as God has so graciously done for us. I have been on Christian mission trips and it is NOT a sex party and non-Christians and Christians work side by side...eventually non-Christians experiencing and wanting the love and compassion displayed by Christians and go on to accept Christ as their savior. Christians are the Lord’s vessel through which change impacts non-Christians....we can’t impact others by staying in a bubble...we are to go out and spread the good news! We are to love our brother...it does not mean we must agree with their behavior or participate, but we are called to Love the unlovable as God loves us.
Lastly....we have control over our minds and bodies....overnight mission trips with the opposite sex is NOT a sin....you don’t sleep in the same bed or tent! People are so focused on providing care, overwhelmed by the need, and too exhausted at the end of the day that it takes every ounce of energy to eat and make it back to your room....clearly there are different levels and commitments required and expected on mission trips...there is nothing sexy or attractive about going days without a shower, covered in insect bites, and limited access to clean water!

I have just watched this video on TH-cam. As for me I'm also a Single Godly, religious guy and the type of woman that I like is a Christian woman, just like I'm a Christian guy. The only problems with meeting them is that they aren't really that many Christian Single women here in Washington State that are in my age group, the Singles events are too far away from where I live and also they take place on a day that I might be busy with work or doing something else and it interferes with my schedule, honestly :-).

Same here. In my 20s I was not ready because I was getting over so much trauma but now that im ready, I'm not having any luck. It makes me wonder if churches have been preaching about this all wrong
So I'm an introvert, I can maintain a couple of close friendships. I'm super confident but without a drink atm I'm quite stressed in big groups. I've met many girls that I think are lovely, interesting and that I enjoy talking to, but 1 in 50 odd is attractive to me (big sample size at uni). I don't know if I can force attraction and I've been hurt greatly by building attraction over time in a friendship with somone that I was not initially attracted to.
Now, these days I ride bikes and have many friends that ride mountain bikes, but all these people are guys and very very few are christian. If I quit Mtbing, I stop mixing with non Christians. However, I don't know how to manage, extra-church events, all my other responsibilities, and continue mixing with non-christians. It all seems impossible. I've just finished my Masters in Mechanical and Electrical Eng at one of the more competitive universities, so this could be a part of the lack of time issue. I certainly had more free time on placement working in research !
Joshua I guess instead of joining guy groups only will not help since you are searching, not saying you do away with them, but join unisex groups like cooking classes, gym classes, church groups, bible study groups, christian libraries among others . just do what you enjoy with no intentions of meeting some one actually and I believe you will.

This is actually my case. I just realized that I have been purposely avoiding to throw my hook into the water at all.

I've attended the National Christian Singles Seminar, which takes place Labor Day weekend in different cities around the US. It's mostly attended by African-Americans in the Church of Christ but is open to all. I just Googled "christian conference" and several came up. You might have to travel a bit. I attended conferences in Houston, Indianapolis, and Phoenix and enjoyed each one. Although I didn't meet anyone I connected with, there were great experiences. My niece attended one in Bermuda. If you can't find one, maybe start one yourself! It can be "Christians & Coffee" at a local coffeehouse or diner. It doesn't have to be a large event.
The only time in my life I was around a large group of christian singles was my college campus ministry...20 years ago.
Another point, you may have to move or travel to meet someone. I attended one congregation for 15 years and there were maybe 2 other single people (not including the widowed/divorced). I now attended a different congregation (for unrelated reasons) and although there are only handful of singles, I met someone I never would have considered before. I agree with keeping God first and serving him and others. When there are extra church services or events, I'm typically one of three singles in attendance. The rest are married or families. I've shared with God my desire to be in a loving, godly marriage but I've also asked him to write my love story. And as we all know God can write the most beautiful love stories! It's in His time, not mine.

I'm a Christian ( i play 🎹 and sing) 31years, I'm single never married... why is it so difficult to meet Christian sisters? and the concept of marriage to most people is trash ( everyone'slookingfor something Temporary) focused on making more money, even our sisters... how do we find a genuine love, a godly love, a pure love in this generation?

15 years I was in these 3 types of scenerio but havent met the guy who wants to marry me and I want to marry him too or even a date. I kinda feel hopeless and discouraged lately. I watched many of yr video and looked back and saw what could have gone wrong. Now Im 37. I' m freak out that I might end up staying single through the rest of my life. In my country churches are full of single ladies. You are so blessed to have found yr wife at a young age. Please speak hope to me.
Shelah Vong, I'm in the same boat, there just seems to be a lack of good guys. But what I've learned this past year is that I've been putting too much emphasis on wanting a guy (even though I believed that I wasn't). I started realizing that I wasn't placing God first. I have to trust God so much that even if I am single for the rest of my days is that I can accept his will. Besides God knows what my heart yearns. Does this mean that I stop hoping and praying? Of course not. It's only now I look at life differently. I try to work on myself and do the things that are on my heart at that moment. There is a time for everything, just learn how to be patient and live in the moment. Continue conversing with others and be kind. Honestly look at yourself and see where you might be going at it incorrectly. Always work on yourself. I'm not one for online dating, but you can try that. But most of all, never stop hoping! Cause you freaking out is only a sign that you don't trust God with the plan for your life. Its going to be okay, praying for you :)
Chydova Thank you so much. My dad is with his girlfriend. My mom passed away in January. My brother is with his girlfriend. We dont have good relationship. I just felt like i dont have anyone left in my life. I Do have hope for life after death and want to live life to glorify God. But everything just seems meaning less to me right now. I m very very depressed. I do not want to kill myself because I dont want to sin and I dont want people who know me to feel terrible and of cause that is not glorifying God. But it s too hard to continue this life alone. Please pray for me for God' s wisdom and light to shine in the dark area if my life. I want to find a real joy in him again. I was single for five years and i was fine. But after i left the church after noticed that they are a hoax and my mom passed away, i m in deep loneliness and confusion. I forgave people and myself but still have a lot of fear. Long story but dont want to watse yr time. I appreciate your kindness.

Don't lose hope. I know how you feel! The church I go to doesn't have any single women as they're all married or already in relationships. I'm 37 and have been single all my life and have never experienced a relationship but I trust God will bring the right women at the right time. Please don't feel discouraged but please take a look at scripture Philippians 4:6. God bless.

On sundays I dont know how but When church starts a christian spirit enters all the women ... singing songs like they can literally see Jesus coming to earth... praise and worship like never before ... shout hallelujah during sermon... clap hands... praise god... pray with weird face expressions like that's the end of the world... shout Woo when pastor speaks about how great is gods love..
The moment you approach these women/girls they will start judging you, they want to focus more on their boobs, butt shapes, facebook, Instagram likes and posts , their pets...
No one wants to know the real you...

You are accurate and I agree with what you said, but all this is sooo obvious. I didn't learn anything. The only thing that confused me was "Christian workplace"; I'm not sure what you meant by that, but why not the workplace in general? I have met many like-minded people at most jobs.

k J Absolutely. This happened to someone I know. The two dated for a while, but then they broke up. Several years later, they started dating again. They've now been married 10 years with 3 children. God brings people together at the right time, as well.
Sure, just because you meet someone doesn't mean you must date right then. You should always wait to date if you are not spiritually ready to honor Christ.

It's hard for me, when I have only very few friends, then lockdown in our country cause of pandemic and every one is busy with work from. Home jobs. No one is meeting up personally, there are event but our church always separate single men from. Women,... But I will. Keep. Praying, Been praying for. More than a decade now. I will. Not lose. Hope. GOD has a plan.
