What water damage LOOKS like iPhone 4s!

- I think the screen needs replacing or the digitizer. After putting it in 99% Isopropyl Alcohol for a couple of hours and new battery we got some lights to turn on in the back and it gets warm but wont connect to computer or iTunes. looks like there is some alcohol or water left in the screen. Do you think the screen(LCD)/digitizer or both needs replacing and then it should connect to the computer?
