That's not correct at all. Ask people who live in deserts or desert like areas. Researchers have studied the heavy black robes worn by Bedouins in the desert. They say the key there is thickness. The outer layer of fabric does get hotter because the black color absorbs more heat. And that heat doesn't get transmitted to the skin because of the thick fabric.

What if the dark colors are thin though?

Wrong. It's not thick fabric that prevents the heat from transferring to the body, it's that the fabric is wool and looser fitting. Wool regulates temperature well, is moisture wicking and releases heat rather than trapping it. Black fabric absorbs more UV rays and heat, making you feel warmer. This can be mitigated if the clothing is loose fitting.

Can I wear dark colored clothes during winter to attract the sun and help keep me warm?

Absolutely, but only on sunny days where you can only wear one layer. 2+ layers tends to keep our body heat in regardless plus the 2nd+ layer won't get hot enough to even reach the skin (with the cool winter air that is).

What they've said is BS. This is non-scientists trying to do science.

If I wear black ⬛️ trousers 👖 in the summer ☀️, so what. Who bloody cares about this thing to happen? Wearing black ⬛️ trousers 👖 in the summer 🌞 season isn’t a crime and it doesn’t make any difference. I plan to wear black ⬛️ trousers 👖 in nine 9️⃣ separate months in 2024 is January to March and again from July to December. It doesn’t bother other people if I wear black ⬛️ trousers 👖 in the summer ☀️ season and it’s none of other people’s business 👩‍💼. The word charcoal is a dark colour that in 2024 is likely to be worn from January to June and is likely to return back again in July 2025. My favourite 😻 🤩 ❤️ colour of wearing trousers 👖 is charcoal. I love ❤️ 🥰 🧡 wearing black trousers 👖. Very comfortable colour to wear. Of course I wear black trousers 👖 in the autumn 🍂 and winter 🥶 ❄️ as well. Black trousers 👖 matches black sweatshirt and black tee shirt 👕. Most Tesco staff wear black trousers 👖 when they are working. I’ve worn black trousers 👖 when I work at Tesco in Ilfracombe in north Devon in the southwest of England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 when I push the trollies 🛒 , see to the baskets 🧺 and fill up ⬆️ from the rear to the front of the shelves. Black is a dark colour. ◾️ 🔳 ⬛️ ⚫️. When my mother 👩 was alive, she has worn black ⬛️ trousers 👖 sometimes and I laughed 😆 about it. Perhaps 🤔 I could wear black jeans 👖, however not denim blue 🟦 jeans 👖. 👍 ⬛️ ◾️ 🔳 ▪️ ◼️ ⚫️

My question I can't find is if black people get hotter. Like honeslty if they don't I'm jealous. I know it's harder for them to get sun burnt
