Cracking looking pitch. Need to get myself down that area for a camp at some point. You Georgies seem to be taking over the camping world 😊

Hi and a great bivy camp, that’s my favourite spot for a chilled camp,
Made me laugh that you went all the way down the road and then back up the big fire break, it’s quite a slog over all the tufts and holes, and then find yours back on a nearer spot ! I hope you went back the quicker route ! But that the fun exploring new places,
I am due back there when the midges drop off as that spot can be a killer !!! For swarms,
    Cheers Adrian

Hi Adrian, yeah picked the hardest route up as usual. I was quite glad when I seen the forest track right next to the trig. Made for an easy walk back. Midgies were bad and I nearly quit before supper but all was well in the end. Thanks for watching 👍

Canny little camp that, I tend to avoid the forests in the summer 'cos of the midges but it didn't look like they bothered you too much. Might have to think about a Harwood bivvy soon. Nice one.

Hi Jimmy, yeah the little bit of breeze stopped and the midgies came out in force and it was really bad for about an hour. I was almost ready to abort but it was ok once the sun started setting. Thanks for watching mate 👍
