Ive got this tent as well and love it. Went through alot of other tents that flapped about in the wind etc where as this is bomb proof and love it! All in one pitch would be nice but for a good sleep i can handle it and used in rain and once get used to in can get it up in no time!
Yeah, that’s actually a really good point, I used the MSR elixir for a long time and it used to be a nightmare in the rain, most of the time you can get away with it though
The kangri is a cracking tent .but unfortunately its let down by its weight its not light .at just under 4'5 kg its very similar to the terra nova quasar and force ten mtn 2 .all of those tents are good .i own the mtn 2 and think its a good tent . As for them being an inner pitch first .well its a case of .the more you use it .the quicker you become at putting it up .lol enjoy your kangri 👍
Satellite Trackers, Absolutely a number one safety device, I use the SPOT as its cheaper. Too many people go into the woods and hills and find out they need help but none is coming or search and rescue need to hunt high and low to find the dead body or the injured traveller. Off all the kit we seem to buy that's so expensive yet we feel these types of device are a waste of cash.
It served me well for many years, mate. It’s a good tent to be fair all round, well built, probably not the best four season option, but if you only plan on camping spring summer and autumn you’ll be fine, mine never leaked in once
On first look I'm thinking Inner pitch first is a deal breaker for me (unless I am going in my car and camping nearby and have another tent as back up). Then the fly doesn't appear to come close enough to the ground for a four season for me, when you camp in strong winds with snow it will always find a way in and far more so if the fly is too high above the ground. But I love the video, awesome to see young folks enjoying the outdoors camping at all times of the year.
Thank you mate. I’m looking forward to camping in winter. I’m really pushing the limits of some of my gear, I agree to be fair the only time I take this out is if I was certain it wasn’t going to rain badly
Good vid new sub but please don't forget not everybody can afford gucci gear young feller but make do with what they can afford,I have better stuff than you but that's irrelevant yes review your gear after years use I watch for the camps and views etc yours will be great channel your so keen so just abit constructive criticism atb, davey
Literally been looking at this for ages on pre-order for me and the mrs, cheers for the vid helped loads!
Always a pleasure when you upload , looking forward to what’s to come mate

I've owned a kangri and put it through alot of abuse. Its an absolute tank and bang for your buck its phenomenal 😁
Definitely, I don’t think I’m aware of a 2 1/2 man tent at that price point as good 🤔
I was up there a couple of months ago. Some muppets had left a full on bbq. Really wound me up. Anyway, cracking tent that. Brill video.
Such a shame, hopefully they got outed, thanks mate. Much appreciated 🫡🫡
Wish they would make all tents outer pitch first there are some great tents until its throwing down and the inner is soaked before you get set up.

Wished they did an pitch outer TerraNova Quasar, would be the ultimate tent.
Great video mate. In a pretty saturated market your channel really stands out. Keep it up man 🤙🏽
Thanks mate that means a lot, i’d like to post more often by the moment once a week is probably the sweet spot
@@Joexplorez yeah agreed. Once a week keeps people wanting more although id be happy with 2 every now and again 😂😂
Brilliant video mate, atb!

Hahha very true mate if the design is not broke, don’t fix it 😂 bang on tho
F10 mountain is the same design but lighter. Used for years, never let me down in all weathers
Sounds sick, mate. I’ll have to check it out, vango?

Definitely, mate, great advice! Especially when the weather comes in and you lose visibility or if something was to happen it’s just the piece of mind
I’m sure it’s a great tent, but the weight! Wow, that is a chunky piece of kit. Not for me, though, it’s far too heavy.
good stuff mate
Thank you mate 🫡🫡
wasup there a few weeks ago where did you purchase the camp slippers from cheers
Hi mate, I got them from montane I’m sure there are cheaper alternatives out there!
@@Joexplorez cheers mate not bothered about the price nowt worse than cold feet espically when you need to leave your tent for toilet
4,3kgs is a lot of weight to carry around, maybe that's why nobody talks about it's a bit outdated.
joe do you know if the msr elixir 2
is a good starter tent

Terra nova quaser copy...
Not a bad thing as they r bombproof.
I'd go Terra Nova all day over Alpkit.. Customer support was poor for me with Alpkit, never using them again.

thanks for NOT mentioning the actual name of this tent. I will make people focus ... ha. ha .
