how do you scene transition from one scene to another while actively playing a game? for example, you're in a heated battle and fighting but want a scene transition to a closeup scene of your face but you are using the mouse to fire, how does OBS know to do the scene transition?

Cool. For some reasons my install of OBS 26 doesn't include ability to add custom fades and transitions. I can't really get things like stingers to work.
I have obs version 24.0.3 but i dont see a option to set transition to stinger..i checked for update and according to OBS there isnt any.. any help please. thank you.

I am using OBS in Studio Mode, Screen one has a VLC Video and Screen 2 has the active scene. I have a custom stinger video and get the following issue. I click transition and the stinger plays however the VLC video plays in the background. This results in some of the VLC video content being lost as the stinger was playing at the same time? Got any helpful tips?
The STINGER transition cuts off my stream in newest and last few versions slobs and obs for me. The stream stops but obs/slobs does not say anything making me think still live. This still happens on a fresh windows install also and many many people have reported the same issue
Can you please make a obs vs streamlabs obs video?? Seeing as streamlabs obs is massively expanding and I've heard it has less bugs, I'd really love a video with your input seeing as you're mainly engaged into obs!

You need to use the PS4 remote play app or a capture card like an Elgato for using PS4 and OBS. OBS can't pick up the console gameplay unless it has a screen it can broadcast from the computer or laptop itself.
How TF do I get something like my stinger as my transitions, I'm not streaming I just want my transitions on my recordings to not be the typical fade stuff. From what I see I have to have obs streaming and change the scenes myself to get my stinger to work.
I am more than interested about After Effects stinger creation tutorial. Even if i can't use stinger, because sometimes OBS want to do 2 transition in the same time and it is just crash OBS. I ask OBS, Streamlabs, Nerd or Die about this problem. Well none of them can help me. No one know what could be the problem. I reinstall OBS, Streamlabs OBS, even Windows but noting changed.
Hi! Brilliant video! Just one query.... I downloaded some of the stingers from nerd or die to try them out. The millisecond scene change behind the transition works perfectly however it seems as if the stinger transition themselves are not playing through entirely and cutting short. Like the full animation doesnt finish playing. Any help with this would be massively appreciated
Having an issue with the timing, i did 500 frames, but it was way too late, when i adjusted to 300, then 100 and then the smallest 50ms it doesnt change the timing at all in OBS. Anyone else having these issues?

How did you resize your cam on the one transition?
You click your scene. Then you drag the camera box to desired size.
but how do i change camera/gameplay???
