    yesssss thanks for having me! 💖 Always happy to talk about Push and Ableton to anyone eager to listen! (I even wrote my masters dissertation about Ableton Push 😅)

      Awesome! Your track "Softer Light" is nice :) Especially like the vocals on it.

      Hi LNA and Bo. Thanks for the video, but you lull me into thinking that using the CV outs from the Push pedal sockets is "easy"! I'm afraid I'm really struggling to get these to work. With the Push3 CV Pack presets I can send gate information OK, but the pitch doesn't give me anything sensible. It either gives very HIGH pitches, or no pitch change at all. I also can't get calibration to work at all (so far).

    Yessssss Sir, a simplified, demystified process to explore making the most of turning Push 3 into an all encompassing audio hub of activity. Thank you Bo, and LNADoesAudio (is this right) (especially for shopping for little things like cables) I salute you 🫡

    "Now everything is in A minor. _{plays a single note in two different octaves}_ "
    Great demonstration of scale modes. 😉

    I’m always looking for the one box to get rid of everything else. Sick of gear. Can the push 3 do harsh noise music? Sample mangling? I am used to Octatrack and Eurorack, but wondering if the Push 3 can replace everything else for me.

    Barely related, but hearing Ski Jam from the Wavestation in the transition was super fun. The Wavestation was my first “real” synth.

    The tan really suits you, I was hoping for more freestyle Swedish rap, still good tho

    Hi BoBeats, thank you! A question: is it “better” Push3 or Akai Force? Thank you!

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +8

      Wish I could tell you… but i have not used the Force… (except to get past storm troopers)

      @@lucadelellis Depends on what you want. Force costs less and has a more complete workflow for producing songs entirely without a computer... while Push 3 has better integration with a computer and a more expressive playing surface, but _requires_ a computer for some parts of the process (like arranging).

      @ToyKeeper it all comes down to preference really. One cool thing about the Push 3 is they made easily customizable (in terms of putting hard drives and memory in yourself

    An easier way is to use the Push with a DAW, such as Bitwig, and connect the synthesisers via USB midi and your audio interface. No need to dive into Push menus and you can have multiple synthesizers connected with another daw than Ableton.

    Push doesn’t seem that exciting. I had the APC40 in 2009 and sold it. I never cared for those grid controllers.

    I get it Bo. It’s easier to make content for beginners and you will probably have a bigger audience. But for guys like me…

    • @BoBeats
      @BoBeats  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +3

      In this case it was mostly that I am a beginner on the Push. I think most of my content is not really that beginner friendly.
