Thanks! This is an extremely helpful video! I just got my Push 3 Monday. It’s amazing and I’m still finding things out the more I dig. I did not get the standalone version but it’s cool that I have the option to upgrade later.
Glad it helped! And congrats on getting the Push 3, you'll love it! This is a super fun lesson to try out on the push to get you up and running - th-cam.com/video/qqPEwH-W4eM/w-d-xo.htmlsi=P4NDeD_cyttD7SbA
@@eriksumo Hey! There are a few little bugs here and there; it's a beta! I feel it's very stable. But, I generally stay away from using beta live just to be on the safe side.
@@pushpatterns Just a quick update on this - maybe this helps some people out there in the same shoes. To be quite honest, the non-beta stable version of Push also freezes sometimes with me, especially while loading, saving, restarting etc. So I thought why not give it a try and roll with the punches? And I did. Load/save functions have some new bugs (the proejct you've just uploaded to Push does not appear in the projects list only after restarting your Push) but the live show went really well and it was actually very stable! I only used one project. Autoshift in midi mode is awesome, I used it as a harmonizer for vocals and its a blast!
My prayers about the browsing filter capabilities where listened bro! I just hope they release the final update soon, it’s been almost 2 months since they announced it. 😅
Hey good question. When you have the clips up on the display on the push 3, the job wheel will launch a selected clip in clip workflow or if your are in scene workflow it will launch the selected scene. Hope that makes sense!?
Well, 12.1b8 was released last week, I think there will be 2 more beta's. Also I think that there will not be a public of 2.1 very soon, Ableton has decided that the path to 2.1 public will be in 4 parts. Two weeks ago 2.0.20 was released for public and has some parts of the 2.1beta in it. But my guess is a 2.1 release in about 4 weeks from now. It's worth waiting for it, Craig showed some improvements in his video. More improvements will come.

I know right!?
What’s the difference between scene and clip workflows?

@@pushpatterns thanks, makes sense now :) 🙏🙏
No worries! C
Is it released or just the beta in this video?
Yes it’s still in beta at the moment but will be released very soon!
Move scene without launching it: Hold down Select and then press the scene. Let me know did that work.
Will try
do you have an idea when the beta phase will be over?
I don't unfortunately but hopefully soon!
