Good video. Just a couple of things when you use copperslip. Its the peripherally of the hub + stubby bit in the middle where the disc gets stuck. Thats where the copperslip is needed (the central bit of the hub where the 5 studs are is recessed so isnt where the disc sticks). And you really shouldn't copperslip the bolt threads. Thats a recipe for the wrong bolt end load (either too tight and stretch the bolts, or can work loose more easily)
Great walk through video 👍🏻. I didn’t have a winding tool, so I just used a pair of long nosed pliers, a bit of brute force and a few expletives. Edd China would be impressed! ☺️👍🏻
Thanx, ive just bought a 2014 Kuga so will be checking the brakes soon. Disappointed u didnt paint the calipers !!! Its compulsory for me on all my cars !!
We found that a Starsocket was needed. Almost never, does the single wind back tool fit the adjuster for wind back. The full sets is almost the same price. That spring will stick in and needs considerable effort to release.
Thank you for this video and wondered if you could tell me if the pad with the spring goes on the inside of the disc on both sides?? o/s and n/s ? As both sides were put in different on my vehicle thanks
It's *nearly* the same. I've just done mine on a 2017-made Kuga. Mine has 15mm hex head bolts not the E11 star head. And the pistons just push back. Just don't forget to put the electric parking brake into 'service' mode 1st so you don't get your fingers chopped off.
Hi, at 8.10 it shows how to remove the disc. You remove the hanger bracket with the torx socket... then the disc itself is not held onto the hub by anything. It is on the wheel nuts that hold it on when driving. Thanks

Spring goes on the inside. Thanks
Use the left handed threaded tool not the RH one then just wind in the tool it locks into the calliper no need for a spanner.
I’ve a 2017 Kuga with the electric handbrake is it the same procedure?
I have the same ,apparently the pistons push in on electric handbrake models

Il ne montre pas comment retirer le disque 😡
