Nice explanation fella. I would like to ask you if the dimensions and shape of the brake calipers for Kuga and Escape are the same. For example, for Kuga 2016 - 2019 and Escape 2016 -2019.
Hi, I am not sure as it was a car I worked on for a friend. Chances are they would be the same, but worth checking this with a parts shop or Ford themselves. Thanks
U forgot to mention removing the brake fluid cap when compressing the caliper. what about copper grease is that not necessary ? Gonna attempt mine shortly
Pushing the pistons back without removing the reservoir cap, is not really an issue. Copper slip is good to use on the back of the pads to prevent brake squeal, but this pad kit has an anti squeal backing meaning the copper slip is not needed here. Copper slip can also be used where the brake pads slide, however this is a brand new caliper where the pads slide very freely anyway. Good luck with the job, let me know if you have any questions. Cheers
Can't believe the lack of corrosion under that 2013 compared to my 66 awd ! Top video 👌
Cheers for the support
