Welcome back poppin. Hope you will come back and play the game from time to time. I have been playing from the founding member time and I think my favorite season by far is Pirates of the Caribbean. I don't mind spending money from time to time as long as the game still releases content. Nice to see you back on speedstorm and take care of yourself. 😊
I think the design was done well and I think the characters are a cool addition. I saw Cruella in the game as well, well soon to come. I'm glad you're still enjoying it and they are still treating their target audience well. I also appreciate the kind words, even if you don't watch content that isn't speedstorm I still appreciate you being along for the ride and lurking. It means a lot. 🙂
I think there are a couple of differenences since you played before. One, you can't unlock all mid-season racers by racing alone. You had to pay just for a slim chance to unlock Cruella and Ennui, and probably many more to come. I foolishly spent $20 for Cruella boxes because you can only get 4 shards from challenges. The other is the tournaments, which does have a free version as well as paid. Like others, I missed seeing your speedstorm videos. I didn't start playing until Aladdin and learned much from them. Also, I imagine your mpr level is high, so I bet you spent quite awhile getting rewards when you logged back in.
I actually really like this game. I just stared playing it about a week ago. I know it's pay to win but I have Will Turner at level 31 already and am in diamond rank, completely free to play.
I quit this game 3 weeks ago. This game was asking for too much money. It was beyond ridiculous and greedy. They ruined Ennui’s limited event as well because you’ve got to spend money to unlock her or grind on ranked and earn tokens. I’m leaving this game to die.
Thanks, yea I've been doing fine. Been slowing down on content in general due to personal stuff, but I should be getting back on track. 🙌 As always, hope all is good with you too brother. 🙏
Good to see you back! Its my last season (half a season) on this game since ive used my last season token and I refuse to drop 20$ a month so its interesting to see what you think of what the game has become
Yes, I think tokens have been a nice safety net, but I wonder what will happen once all players run out. Maybe splitting the seasons was a way to drain them quicker.
I was actually thinking about playing again and thought I would stop doing so. But as you said, Disney Fans will like the game, and I grew up with the World of Disney so it's just enjoyable to play the game even if you lose because of stats. I am totally fine with paying like 20€ for each season. The devs wanna get paid too, right? Also if there are people who pay like a ton of money for the game, we know the game will go on for bringing content. So if they want to finance the game, I am fine with that.
Well, there is a difference between paying to support and being forced to pay to compete. I feel that's where the real issue is, no one really minds spending money for a quality game. I don't want to even know how much money I've given Riot Games, my god... However, as someone who likes competition, I don't often play (and most certainly won't pay) games that increase win chances by spending money, it is just not in my DNA. That doesn't mean I won't play them, but I'm more of a cosmetic player. If games offer that and have a balanced gameplay loop that is where I'll be spending money. As you said though, the game does need to be supported financially and that's the target. Players who like to increase stats and collect (basically known as gacha games, it's very successful, especially mobile versions). Therefore, those players who enjoy that type of loop will be funding the game. Because the prices are so high as well, even if only a few people is funding it, it'll still live for quite some time. (unless they focus more on asphalt, they just dropped a new version of it). Remember, they can always revisit seasons with little commitment (IE: Pirates Of The Caribbean) and still profit. I said they'd do it eventually moooonths ago. It's an easy way to release content for little cost and there are so many spinoffs of movies/shows they have much they can do. (not saying it's a bad thing, players enjoy new characters that's the whole draw to the game). Didn't expect it to be such a wall, lul. Sorry. 😵
Nice video , i was lucky i got Crusher from Twitch as team mate 1 time when he was Live , i'm enjoy the game more with Twitch Streamer she from Mexico , i'm more looking forward to Halloween event i hope it finally get it maybe Haunted Mention Race track , and you bring the Entertainment to Speedstorm but then again you are Entertaining kind like JonSandman in a way no one else like that in my opinion
Yup, I fall into that category of "playing it because it's Disney" 😁. I'm still playing it, but only on a Saturday to complete that week's chapter. I don't care about Ranked and Events anymore like back in the day ☺
Currently that's the only other Disney game for me. A while back I also played/completed Disneyland Adventures, Rush A Disney Pixar Adventure and Disney Infinity 3.0. But Dreamlight Valley and Speedstorm are the ones in which I've put (and still putting) the most amount of hours 🙂
Glad this game is still alive despite the mico nonsense.
Oh more than that. The way they treated last season's mid-season racer was trash: 5 shards, then pay money for boxes to get the other 5.
"Alive" 😂
This game became a HOT pile of dumb gacha garbage..
Glorified mobile game at best. Its horrible even for spenders..

It was amazing seeing you revisit Speedstorm after so long! #nostalgia
Background music giving me Dino Domain Triceratop flashbacks! Great choice.

This game has become my comfort game to dive in for like an hour from time to time and finish the season pass.
Yea, exactly. One of those pop in and have some fun, then go to your main game (if you have one).
Stoked to see you back on the track.
🙌
welcome back king!
ya can do vaults without paying, just rewards are less.
Yup!
I can't wait to play as Cruella. She should've been in the base roster.

What you said about the maps is so true and about people ramming you it's so damn annoying😂😂😂😭😭😭

umm damn near all of them that's not Genshin Impact
I'm not interested in the game. But here is a like and a comment.
where's the ranked mode ?
It's default ranked mode unless you specifically choose regulated.
Bro how do you look behind you lol. I play on Steam on an Xbox controller.
@@Enyalus87 down on the right thumbstick
You missed out Lofton they had a hades event like a week ago lol
I did the event, well at least the leaderboard one. I cut the part of me accepting it out of the video, you can still see the event there though. 😂
Nice games🎉
I spend money and I love it!

Speaking of "Because it's Disney", what other games of Disney do you play besides Dreamlight? I might have to take a peek. 👀
