I am aware of Expert Mode as well, which you unlock by getting all the medals. I didn't wanna wait till I did that again. I just wanted to show some things off, not everything. I'm done, so that's that.

I didn't even know it was possible to fail Katina's mission because it was so easy, I never even realized there was a time limit until this playthrough.
Just to correct Clement (and I'm sure others have already said this) all medals unlocks Expert Mode, which you play as Fox wearing sunglasses. All medals on Expert unlocks the ability to play as the actual characters (without any sort of vehicle) in multiplayer. But yeah, another great LP, keep up the good work.

While do love your sonic LPs, I was greatly enjoying this and you last couple of LPs more because of the MAJOR nostalgia from my childhood. You truly are GREAT great clement.
Yes Clement, the Great Fox is still flying nicely but the point is that it starts falling back which is why you head for the satellite, the Great fox retreat away from the missiles and from Venom and you got no real choice but to follow it.
I'm so happy I'm not the only one that feels this way when this happens.

There IS one thing you missed: If you clear Katina without shooting down any (and I mean ANY) friendlies, the dialogue at the end of the mission will change.

Clement look at the side of the ship! There's a gigantic gash on the side thanks to that mission. I'm supurised the ship isn't fucked up even more.
And the instant kill on Macbeth: It takes like 1o minutes. You have to intentionally try to see that attack.
I think today's game developers should do what star fox 64 did regarding tutorials. Instead of lumping it in with the game's beginning, they should have it be something you select from the menu, or have the option to turn them off.
Nice this was my favorite game from the 64 and I'm glad you took the time to play it. Can't wait for Sonic riders (I'm horrible at racing games) and I can't wait to see how crazy it gets. thanks Clement.
So, have you ever unlocked the Star Wolf battle in the tutorial? (Kill 100 enemies in the tutorial, and Star Wolf appears to fight you. Defeat him, and he regenerates to battle you again.)
The Macbeth boss (Mechbeth) will only use its one-hit-kill move if you take way too long. You actually have to intentionally stall the fight to encounter it. It's to prevent the player from reaching the end of the level's map geometry.
The boss of the easy-route version of Venom (Golmech) has a similar setup where if you take way too long you'll start to hit a series of walls that will eventually kill you, even with the extended health bar.
Wow, really? I always killed the Golmech before the health bar even showed up...
Didn't know that the player would eventually start running into walls and end up dead.
I didn't know that Macbeth and the Venom bosses had One-Hit kills.

In the case of Golmech, it's less the boss attacking you and more the level geometry itself.
They are pissed off because that was where their rooms were. They had to sleep with the common crew after that. lol
Losing the wing is an issue because it means the ship is now no longer fit to bum-rush Andross' fleet.

Clement, there are a few things that you forgot to mention... When you get all medals, you unlock not only the soundtrack option, but also... an expert mode.

Something I thought he would show but didn’t if that if you reach bolse satellite without having already fought star wolf then they appear there to stop you from destroying the core

jeesus.. im 19 and i played this game right when it came out. i was about 4-5 and always had some vague memories of it, but i remember betting the game, and seeing a game run of it, its all comming back lmao

Yea, i love this game back then too. only thing i didn't like way Sector Z... back then I sucked... then I gotten the game on wii virtual console and beat it no problem. I had plans to do the SNES version as my first LP. But i'll wait on that. great LP man

Neither one sounds anything like the original letter. I don't pretend to know where either pronunciation came from or to be a master of phonics, I'm pretty sure everyone agrees that neither "zed" nor "zee" sounds like "zay" except for the beginning sound. I was just trying to point out that neither pronunciation really makes any sense, so there's not much of a point in arguing over which one is correct. Forgive me if I come off as a jerk here.
Good LP Clement, I always did love Starfox 64. I didn't mind a break on the Sonic series, but I am curious:

I wouldn't say life is a problem. It is summer and he's probably out doing things and having fun. I get all giddy inside when I see a new video from him no matter how long it's been since his last one. In fact, waiting makes the giddiness that much stronger when he does upload. xD
Im a HUGE Sonic fan, but lets cut the bullshit. Random Games YOU love and We adore are in my opinion, a lot more fun to watch. SF64 was a wicked fun LP... More of these will make me re-log onto your channel more than the weekly "what shitty Sonic game is Clement doing this week"... PS. Play throughs with BJ are awesome. Maybe we'll see more in the future...?

Zed is the English way to say Z. Here in the United States, we say Zee. But up in Canada it's really said either way. They are both correct, just different ways to say Z.

There is a secret dialogue in katina where, if non of bill's men are killed and you destroy the core, fox's father answers bill at the end.

To be fair, I'm sure doing an entire series can be very time-consuming. Not to mention that you play the same style from game to game so that can be boring.

i know you've probably already been asked this. But is there a particular reason why you keep calling it "sector zed"?..... is it like a Canadian thing?
People have multiple pronunciations for different things, I believe that Canadians and British People say "Zed" Instead of people that say "Zee"
While that's certainly possible, and even likely, it makes less sense if you consider the fact the zeta is pronounced "zay-tuh" and not "zed-uh".
Fun fact: On a starfox wiki of some sort that my friend looked up a profile picture for krystal was the training mode person for a little while.

Yeah, I remembered when I fought the boss from Macbeth for the very first time, I took too long and the boss reached the supply depot and said: "You're too slow. Time to end this!" And he smashed me, killing me instantly.
Yeah, which is what he did here. It doesn't really sound like he's going to do any of the others.

What I wanna know is how you make the game audio go down whenever you begin talking. I noticed that in videos by Two Best Friends Play, but I never knew how to do that.

Well, of what I was told, Zeta is pronounced "Zee-tah", so "zee" could also be accepted. Though, I might be wrong. I hope my useless information that might be wrong give you more knowledge :D
