I can't wait to give this a go!!! I also love making my own flowers and can't wait to see how your way mixed with my way works out! Thanks, I'll be checking out more of your stuff from now on.

    You made some gorgeous flowers with those home depot shop towels. Hmmmm, my husband buys them by the box. I love making paper flowers out of regular paper towels and using mod podge on them, but you have taken this to a whole new level. Love them. I also love the way you do your videos with a thumb nail on the bottom and close up on the top. New subbie here. TFS, Diana

You can find the links at HowToGetCreative.com and in the description box of the newer videos.

    Loved this so much. I particularly loved the way you used one as a sun in your journal. They would be cute on canvas art, you could make a bouquet for your art room, pin one to the outside of your purse or tote bag, decorate the cover of an art journal, place on gift tags. I suppose you would need to spray them with a protective spray of some sort in some of these applications. I'm definitely going to make some of these.

    Thank you for this thorough and entertaining tutorial, playing with those snazzy paper towels. Now, all I have to do is find this type of paper towel.
    I have seen those industrial blue ones at the car part places, however, I will have to keep looking, for I don't want to have to buy a case of them from the Big Box places. Your flowers are beautiful and I am inspired to play on my Bernina again. I haven't been on it for some time, for I took a break from quilting and started doing mixed media. Now, I can do both. Thank you for taking the time to make this tutorial.

    Thank you Barb for the sample video. Strangely I must have watched it at some time and gave it a thumbs up and this book of flowers gives me an idea for granddaughters whom I've said are my flowers and love to see how my gardens have changed since they visited a few years ago. They live in another state to me unfortunately. Will be watching a lot more since I damaged my hip in a fall. Mending though.

    On your last flower used for the celebrate card could you use pop dots under layers for extra dimension?

    • @BarbOwenDesigns
      @BarbOwenDesigns  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      Hi Janet. I'm sure that it would be fine to use pop dots to add dimension. I tend to create one layer cards, so the dots aren't one of my "go to" supplies, but people who specialize in card making use them so effectively.
