Now that our parts are in we will be replacing the cam chain without splitting the case and installing our pistons in the newly honed cylinders. getting closer each week to finishing our chopper builds #yamahaxs650 #choppermotorcycle #bobbermotorcycles

To conect a cam chain to another you could use a paper clip ,not the cheap crappy one's but the more industrial one's.

When you have spent all your life building engine's it is fun to remember how it was when you started. I have not seen how you Join the cam chain. Have you got the tool that does a even amount on two sides of the pin. ?

I purchased a connection link and hit the pin flat with a hammer. Worked great

Another great vid guys, on the next build when you put the cylinders on, try tipping the engine completely forwards so that the cylinders are resting on the table, you wont have to worry about the weight of them falling down making it much easier to put the wrist pins and clips in, and also the cam chain will just hang there, make sure there is no oil in the engine though!

Hey Jerry thanks for the interest! We have made some progress by setting the valve springs but not much further. we are hopping to get back to it and finish assembling the engines and getting a new vid upload out this weekend.
