for everyone watching this now it’s not as bad as it sounds yes it’s a lot but i main a healer and on my first run it all went smoothly so just believe in yourself

Thanks for the guide. I did it blind, but happy to see it was almost completely intuitive based on past mechanics. The only thing that was somewhat out of bounds, was the gaze looks like Calcabrina's gaze marker from Antitower, which is essentially a cleave marker you can look at the player for, but not in this case.
Just as additional info the Nyx give a healing down debuff and not soaking the punishing rays gives a damage taken up debuff. While a single missed mechanic isn't a certain wipe the damage will stack up fast, so ignoring these mechanics is not an option.
I mean, it looks scary yes, but I am really excited to do this. I love these creative mechanics and don´t mind if we wipe once or twice (never had more wipes in previous raids). Time stop mechanics in Alexander were great and this looks fun too.
This might be a silly question however, does anyone have any suggestions regarding the person who gets the Shadoweye. Should I stay where I am? Should I move away from the group to make it easier for them to look away?
Just following up in case this helps someone else. I did this again on Tuesday and what seemed to help the most was when the affected player stepped behind the majority of the group, or at least melee range. Ranged players could adjust accordingly. If anyone else has any other suggestions I'll happily take them! Thank you! ^_^
@@georgeontheyoutube Terrible advise. If the affected player stands behind the tank everyone will need to turn away and will lose a chunk of dps. The tank can simply turn away without moving and the boss won't move.
WHAT exactly *is* the Voidwalker? I mean... it's supposed to be part of FF8's Eden? Why does it look like Mateus, with a monster holding a humanoid who does all the attacking? I'm mesmerized by these designs.
I don't remember if there is such an enemy in FF VIII as it's been over 20 years since I played that game. But it's always good to keep in mind that they always add new content, despite the homage they pay to previous games in these expansions.
When I ran this raid just a little while ago I used my knock-back skill for the hand.. Sure enough it worked for a sec.. Before for whatever reason I was *BLASTED* off the platform randomly like I'd been hit by a Bullet Bill right in the face ರ_ರ I still don't know what ffs happened 😂

Took me awhile to fight the trained habit to run whenever the debuff marker appeared. Luckily I had fellow raid members to remind me!
