You guys hit all the high points of v8 wrangler swaps . I’ve got over 60k miles on my 392 8 speed swap in my 08 jk. Heat management is a thing , Oklahoma summers are stupid , so vented hood ,no inner fenders , 180 degree thermostat and a JL PWM fan keeps the temps down for sure . The 8 speed trans from the ram is a game changer ! Shifts great and always in the power band . I get the same or better mpg as the stock 3.8 too . The axles and brakes are often overlooked or budgeted for later . I went with the prorock 44/60 combo with 4:88’s. For brakes the teraflex delta brake kit is where it’s at ! And the hemi beats out the LS for me because of the same or factory like integration.
I am lucky enough to have a awesome shop here in Myrtle Beach SC called Aggressive Krawlers. They specialize in Hemi swap they have gladiator hell cat on 40s . They do everything from mild to wild .
DYI or die! I just had a head gasket blow. I took the head off etc but I realize at some point it is easier to swap the engine. I got the itch so we are dropping in a 5.3 in my dad's 1990 wrangler.
I’d love to see the new 7.3 Ford Godzilla engine in one of these. From what I’ve heard the experts say that engine can be bored and stroked to 500 cubic inches although it’s not being done yet.

Sounds like a beast of a build! Glad you're making the most of those Oklahoma summers
I thought that I was the only guy wearing my headlamp all day. You never need to find it if you never take it off.
Exactly!

Trying to drop a 5.7 hemi in a wrangler
Out of all the Hemi, LS and LT swaps jeeps can do; my favorite is by far the naturally aspirated 7.0L 426 Hemi.
You skipped the YJ! This was why I was going to watch it. I’m checking now to see if you have any videos for the YJ.
You’re going to be severely disappointed. I apologize.
@ Yeah I checked unfortunately.
Really good audio.. no wind or engine noise yet you too are easy to hear.. good wireless microphones
Great video! V8’s make the world go round.

There’s a build on Instagram that is using the Godzilla in a tj to Lj stretch. Sorry I don’t remember his handle. But they’re out there.
LS swap the world baby
I need one of these..
Oh wait 😂
How about a 5.7 Hemi in a 2004 Jeep Liberty? Doable?
Anything is doable with enough money but that would definitely be a challenge
Can you put the ls in a 2021 model Jeep JT
You can, but you'd probably be better off going with a newer LT or Hemi.
Good stuff, but the headlamp made me want to turn it off, i think the shirt was enough, but the info was good stuff
But a 6pack on a 427 would be a whole lotta coolness 🎉
Since it’s Mopar, maybe a 340 6 pack or a 440 6 pack to honor the glory days of the OG muscle cars.
There’s a reason you need a V-8 and it has a lot to do with your weight.
nah, I like my stroked 6 banger.
Get to the bloody point
