I love your content, you are so smart and you don’t gatekeep all the secrets that celebrities and influencers use to stay in shape whilst letting us the public suffer trying all these diets only to end up gaining the weight back . Please upload more videos to motivate us and to keep us on track . I am a big back who’s always wanted to lose weight but have allowed these “ eat whatever you want “ influencers to get the best of me , when clearly their content isn’t meant for me . I already eat what I want and more . I have tried to convince myself that “ it’s body positive “ etc but there was nothing positive about my life . I stopped leaving the house because I felt extremely insecure, stopped hanging out with my friends and family , put off fun activities like shopping for clothes and taking pictures . So I quite literally disappeared from peoples lives and put my own on pause . And it’s been on pause ever since . I will go today to a Pilates class , yes I feel insecure and that I don’t belong , but that’s how it’s done .

Omg I’ve been stuck at 135 forever now I’m 5'3 and I’ve also tried eating like 1000-1200 a day and it works but I’m only 15 so I have to eat what my parents eat and it throws me off sometimes, what do you usually eat?
@queeniesworld15 oats with chocolate protein powder, banana slices, and peanut butter. Oats in general tho have worked really well for me. For lunch I usually have avacado Toast or a slice of pizza, and for dinner I like sauteed Kale and shrimp, chicken with sweet potato, or salmon and miso soup. I like one dark chocolate Hershey nugget or a protein shake/bar for snack

Blunt Girl has a lot of content for ethnic woman however she has a lot of videos solely focused on weight loss that I highly recommend. I make a “skinny playlist of these creators videos and watch/listen on the treadmill on when I’m on my walk . Makes the time go by sooo much faster !

I think possibly one of the most important things that contributed to your weight loss was releasing the weight from your subconscious when you say you stopped feeling guilty etc for eating certain foods. Happiness leads to health: I think when he hold onto guilt, shame and other emotions around food, we are also holding onto weight.
THANK YOU!! these are the REAL kind of tips i need to hear. honestly even the tips that are like a duh kind of scenario, hearing it works and someone else actually say it makes me internalize it more. im gonna try these tips. im trying to lose weight and one of my struggles is insulin resistance so im trying some tips also from the glucose goddess to avoid insulin spikes and so far it has helped me lose another 10 lbs . yay. ive already lost 50 but ive been in a plateau for about a year and ive always been hesitant on going too low on my deficit because i have a history of that and the lower i went the more weight i gained. my body does a real good job of holding onto fat but with lowering insulin and trying to fix my hormones paired with these tips i feel like it will work.
Your body goes in a fasted state while you’re asleep. I know a lot of people who wake up and go work out without eating. I’m not that type of person. But I know a lot of people wake up, have some warm water and then immediately get out even if it’s not an intense workout. so you could have the hours you were asleep plus the hours that you are fasted in the early morning before you have your first meal. I feel like even though I hate working out on an empty stomach that is the easiest way to start intermittent fasting without having to use too much effort.

Just drink water, black coffee, green tea and break your fast around midday, eating the same foods that you’re used to and see how your body responds. Wishing you all the best 💕
@@HulaMask i used to be able to do that (skipping bfast & fasted exercise) but i cant do it anymore. long covid ended up giving me pots. thankfully its not super bad like ive seen in others but i need a really salty breakfast otherwise im faint and dizzy the whole day. i tried just having salt alone and working out but no it needs to be with food. i just eat a scrambled egg with a loat of salt lol. but im gonna try the hot water. i head that before but never tried it. thank you

This is how I literally lost weight. Portion controls. You have an inner clock that stops after 20 minutes. Eat slower like she said. Mindset is key.... I live in LA.. i grew up back there. I lovvvveee Nyc... but cities have food everywhere. Drinking water or tea.. im kinda off the coffee train. I still drink 4oz.. but your body changes when you realize truth. Liv. I personally love your vlogs. I did work 9-5.. i did get into diets.. No eat sensible. Food is to be enjoyed and Americans love food. Watch out for food pushers.. Yes! Lost four pounds already and as a teacher there’s sweets everywhere, especially near the holidays. I stop eating at 5:30pm and I schedule my eating times, so if a coworker offers me pizza I can eat it without a hitch because it’s within my time limit, and I swap my previous snack with the pizza. It’s been really fun so far!

15:10 so true!!!!l just eat the ice cream that tastes good instead of forcing yourself to eat the “sugar free” or “low calorie” one When I allow myself to enjoy Ben and Jerry’s, I feel satisfied after a reasonable portion. (If I tell myself it’s “bad”, then I eat the whole thing). I also eat more of the Halo Top because it doesn’t satisfy my craving, and I’ve told myself “you have to have this one, because it’s less sugar.”

I mean where I live skinny people gets shamed as much as me (I'm plus sized, on a fitness journey) and I've been often told "Please dont become a stick keep some of the chubbiness" then the same people would shame me for being big.

No one is naturally skinny. They're lying. We all have the same physiological functions with only minor differences. Those who say they are naturally skinny are saying that because it's not socially acceptable to diet or worry about your weight. And those who aren't skinny are buying into the hype**, thinking skinny people eat like them**, or think they have a better relationship with food without trying**. **This doesn't apply to people with eating disorders. There's a reason people with eating disorders need to spent hundreds of dollars a month on therap, or exorbitant amounts on insurance whilst staying fat.
I have the same body type but I am more slim thick versus curvy thick. The main thing I did was CICO/calorie deficit and walking. Also calorie drink once a week but mainly drink water or 0 calorie tea.
My biggest issue is i can drop the weight, but i lost my period and now i am struggling to get it back without gaining weight. It is strange since i am not even underweight (168 cm 56 kg). I would even look better loosing some more pounds (my legs are pretty muscular) but i am worried about my missing period
You should get your blood checked-maybe you're missing some important minerals. If that’s the case, you can add certain foods or supplements to help get your period back.
Diet, mental health, gut health (gut impcts your mental health) and how we look and feel are all connected. As well as hormones and hormonal balance Food is 1 key. It helps to unfold the rest: getting on your mh journey, resets the gut, your inflammation slowly declines, hormones balance out. (Certain things need to be checked with your doctor, like pcos) Also I recommend therapy and learning to regulate emotions, antidepressants can help too (esp Brintellix) there are ones that slow the metabolism etc Younger, I didn’t understand how inflamed and bad bingeing made me, I just tried to suffocate my feelings. Do you intermittent fast? What do your meal times typically look like if you plant to have 3 meals a day? Do you eat a small amount even if you’re not typically hungry because say in an hour you know you’ll be really hungry so I guess snack?
If she doesn’t respond, I’ll chime in. I think when you live in a big city it’s pretty easy to do. Intermittent fasting. The thing is when you have a really busy schedule. You often forget to eat. Even if you’re hungry sometimes when you’re in the middle of project, you don’t want to stop getting things done so you just skip that meal kind of unintentionally. So even if she doesn’t intermittent fast, I can guarantee that she actually does. It just seems to be a habit of busy people.

One skinny hack that I agree with is keeping hydrated (water, electrolytes, celery juice, green tea, black coffee) and this will help you shut out the food noise. Wishing you all the best 💕

Yes, anything under 100 pounds is going to be skinny but you wanna make sure you’re doing it in a healthy way because otherwise you’ll be weird looking and tired. You want to be in the healthy weight range for someone your height even if that means you’re at the lower end of it.

@xnoelle25 id like to add though that this won't be permanent. Once I reach my goal I'll add 100 calories a week until I'm out of my deficit.

Yes! Lost four pounds already and as a teacher there’s sweets everywhere, especially near the holidays. I stop eating at 5:30pm and I schedule my eating times, so if a coworker offers me pizza I can eat it without a hitch because it’s within my time limit, and I swap my previous snack with the pizza. It’s been really fun so far!

When I allow myself to enjoy Ben and Jerry’s, I feel satisfied after a reasonable portion. (If I tell myself it’s “bad”, then I eat the whole thing). I also eat more of the Halo Top because it doesn’t satisfy my craving, and I’ve told myself “you have to have this one, because it’s less sugar.”
But my appetite is soooooo huge I’m starving all the fucking time - I spend my day avoiding food drinking broth and can’t sleep because I’m so hungry yet I’ve eaten 1200 kcals 🫣🫣

No hate just genuine question, do you get skinny shamed or did you ever? I mean where I live skinny people gets shamed as much as me (I'm plus sized, on a fitness journey) and I've been often told "Please dont become a stick keep some of the chubbiness" then the same people would shame me for being big.

Those who say they are naturally skinny are saying that because it's not socially acceptable to diet or worry about your weight. And those who aren't skinny are buying into the hype**, thinking skinny people eat like them**, or think they have a better relationship with food without trying**.
**This doesn't apply to people with eating disorders. There's a reason people with eating disorders need to spent hundreds of dollars a month on therap, or exorbitant amounts on insurance whilst staying fat.

I’m really curvy with thick thighs and I want to be skinny but I don’t believe that my genetics will let me get to that size 😢 what should I do?

I have the same body type but I am more slim thick versus curvy thick. The main thing I did was CICO/calorie deficit and walking. Also calorie drink once a week but mainly drink water or 0 calorie tea.

My biggest issue is i can drop the weight, but i lost my period and now i am struggling to get it back without gaining weight. It is strange since i am not even underweight (168 cm 56 kg). I would even look better loosing some more pounds (my legs are pretty muscular) but i am worried about my missing period
You should get your blood checked-maybe you're missing some important minerals. If that’s the case, you can add certain foods or supplements to help get your period back.

Diet, mental health, gut health (gut impcts your mental health) and how we look and feel are all connected. As well as hormones and hormonal balance
Food is 1 key. It helps to unfold the rest: getting on your mh journey, resets the gut, your inflammation slowly declines, hormones balance out. (Certain things need to be checked with your doctor, like pcos) Also I recommend therapy and learning to regulate emotions, antidepressants can help too (esp Brintellix) there are ones that slow the metabolism etc
Younger, I didn’t understand how inflamed and bad bingeing made me, I just tried to suffocate my feelings. So I ate for my feelings

@@ethiopiazoldyk4667first of all she didn’t look the best second of all I told her my goal 100 lbs (which I hit by myself ) when I was at 105 lbs , and she kept trying to turn it into a therapy session , I had to appointments with her and she interrogated me why i wanted to be 100 lbs when it is healthy range for my height (5 ft) I was paying her to lecture me and talk down to me about something that is healthy.

Do you intermittent fast? What do your meal times typically look like if you plant to have 3 meals a day? Do you eat a small amount even if you’re not typically hungry because say in an hour you know you’ll be really hungry so I guess snack?
If she doesn’t respond, I’ll chime in. I think when you live in a big city it’s pretty easy to do. Intermittent fasting. The thing is when you have a really busy schedule. You often forget to eat. Even if you’re hungry sometimes when you’re in the middle of project, you don’t want to stop getting things done so you just skip that meal kind of unintentionally.
So even if she doesn’t intermittent fast, I can guarantee that she actually does. It just seems to be a habit of busy people.

One skinny hack that I agree with is keeping hydrated (water, electrolytes, celery juice, green tea, black coffee) and this will help you shut out the food noise.

Yes, anything under 100 pounds is going to be skinny but you wanna make sure you’re doing it in a healthy way because otherwise you’ll be weird looking and tired. You want to be in the healthy weight range for someone your height even if that means you’re at the lower end of it.
