I think something that should be pointed out is how he doesn't just disappear from the show after Turbo. Despite not being the champion anymore the audience views him as one because he's still just as powerful and mentors the next generation. Every season starting from Turbo has Valt completely beat the new main character, showing the power gap between him and everyone else in the series. And when Valt DOES lose against the main antagonist he still becomes stronger than them by the next series. Basically all of what you said plus his relevancy in the series as a whole exceeds every other protagonist (albeit maybe because Burst has the most seasons lol)

Great analysis but imo my only gripe with this video is what happened to Shu in season 2 wasn’t as simple as him getting possessed by Spryzen, but rather his own interpretation of the reality of where he stands among the world stage and what he thinks he needed to do in order to rise further. It’s fair that you didn’t go into this bc it would have taken some time to explain and this video is about Valt and not Shu so it was good that you didn’t stray off topic. Thank you so much for making a video on my favourite protagonists of all time. There were so many times I felt down and just watching an episode of Beyblade Burst just makes my day better. Most of the times it's because of Valt.
Gingka will always be my favorite because not only was Metal Fusion where I first started out, but he was also a guy who younger me at the time could look up to, and to an extent identify with. His strength and outlook on life was something I aspired to achieve myself, and being naturally talented myself in a wide variety of things, especially running where, back when I was competing, I was better than most of my peers just off of talent alone, I was also able to connect with him more. When I got back into Beyblade, Burst was in its second season. Initially, I was skeptical of Valt as well as the new system, which I viewed as cheap, plastic knock-off toys of the "real" Beyblade that I grew up with, which explode when you hit them too hard. Suffice it to say by the end of the series, I've come around to enjoy Burst just as much as MFB, and Valt himself ended up having a much bigger impact on me than I would've ever thought possible. I'll sure miss seeing him in action.
"Real Beyblade" is such a dumb, elitist mindset especially when the Metal Saga wasn't even the original series. It's like Yu-Gi-Oh with all it's different gens, it's a different spin (no pun intended) on the concept for each series. Not even Yu-Gi-Oh fans are this elitist and annoying with each series
@ashhabimran239 hey, he corrected his outlook and came around to be more open-minded. It's hard to accept change when you're attatched to something, especially when you grew up looking up to that something. Calling it an elitist mindset is a bit rude.
Dude I love ur videos, just watched the other beyblade one and they’re actually so interesting and awesome. I wanna deeper understand these stories like you do, to help make myself the best version I can be. Thank u for ur videos and please continue to make more!
man amazing viedo, I love Valt since i was 12 and i am now 18 and still he is number 1 bey blade burst protagonist to me i mean his determination, his passion for bey blading, his relation with his friends(rantaro, shu, diago, wakiya, ken and others), his amazing relations with his partner valtreak still that moment when valtreak lowering valt's launcher and other resonance makes me emotional, and his behavior of not giving up never give in, his theme of from not knowing the fundamentals to legendary world champion wonder boy, he is not selfish and inspires others to become better in order to share amazing moments as his rivals and friends, like he has done for example aiger dante and huga, hikaro are inspired by him directly or indirectly, he never leaves any one behind he pulled his friend shu from his darkness, his amazing battles with valtreak and above all i love valt cuz he would never be upset and have fun no matter the situation is even shu, and silas and aiger destroyed valtreak and even he losses he learn from it and be victorious at the end. love for valt cuz he is the glorious bbb mcu.
Valt Aoi, the definition of pure dedication to your passion accumulating into success. A diving force of determination in my life and a character that made me strive to “battle above my league” because he always did
Omg beyblade! I didn’t watch the older ones, only started watching it when Valt was the MC and man he was awesome! I don’t usually like upbeat characters like him but there was just smth captivating about him, and the found family, that made me unable to look away
I always loved valt and how he shouldve at least one champion in the sparking or turbo season really annoyed me, thanks for making the video and its really thought out with great points. All in all valt was and (my opnion) still is truly the best protagonist for this seriers. I started watching this seriers during season one when i was in 1st grade and i grew up with it all the way to ninth grade. What a journey
I am also about to graduate high school and indeed the lessons derived from Valt Aoi's character now resonate with me much more than they did back when I was younger. Ig its because as we grow older we realise the importance of hardwork and enjoyment. Unironically Valt has taught me more than any self help guru will ever be able to do so
3:57 look at Hyuga and Hikaru's record XD Other than that, such a great video on retrospective about Valt! He's my tied favorite protagonist and character with Aiger next to Shu and Lui. I'd love to see more videos of different characters related to beyblade, more specificly burst. Speaking of which, Congratulations on your graduation! :D
Valt is exactly what I was hoping Ash Ketchum from Pokemon would become if/when he eventually lost the title of protagonist. Someone we see grow from a nobody to someone strong then eventually taking a side seat to let others shine as he trains and mentors them
When I heard you say the thing about Cho Z coming out in middle school, I could almost fully relate to that but I started earlier, heck even I am close to graduating high school
what a great video. i grew up with the first gen of beyblade. and also watched the metal gen when it finished. but i never thought about watching burst. it felt out of place, besides the openings, they are great^^ ima look into it now^^
I was wondering for years why I preferred Valt and the Burst series, and this video shed light on why I do now, also congrats on prepping for graduation
Valt’s progression is also heavily thanks to having people to continue to guide him down a right path to begin with Shu interestingly enough when we look at it, was once someone who was weaker than even Valt and as a result Shu worked hard to managed enter the big 4 of Japan, this likely gave Valt a lot of more incentive to become a strong Blader to try and keep up with the very friend that he himself originally inspired to get stronger. Shu, and Rantaro, alongside Free are the main 3 who I believe played the biggest part in making Valt the incredible blader he is
I COMPLETELY AGREE!!! He started off with absolutely NO skill and was such a big baby (still loved him though) But eventually, he learned to take his anger/sadness and turn it into determination to win. He is such a goat, he is in fact my favorite Beyblade character. Awesome video dude, I have subscribed! 🔥
Appreciate giving Burst a bit of spotlight. It's hard to say something positive about it without toxic Metal Saga fanboys getting triggered, and this is coming from someone who's favourite/main series is the Metal Saga. They're probably gonna show up on this video
Valt aoi is my favourite anime character because he worked hard to improve his skills compare to other protagonist like gingka, Tyson ,zero they already have natural abilities to win all battle. But valt hitz different because he loses a lot and try to find his mistakes and finally he win , so valt aoi is my inspiration. Who are love valt Tape here 👇
I mean this is why I like Valt as a character: he went from not being able to launch his bey into the stadium to becoming one of if not the most world-renowned blader to ever exist. He was able to apply his lessons and mentor/influence others thanks to his experience. Plus, he’s really modest and easily the most approachable of the legends! Easily my fav character in Burst, such a precious cinnamon roll.
valt really shape my childhood cuz when you realize that this anime is not just about beyblade itself its more relatable to us and that what makes this anime worth to watch compare to the other anime and while watching this, this shit makes me that little inocent boy again watching valt feels like you just watching to your self.
You just explained why Yuma from Yugioh Zexal is one of my favorite protaganists. Like Valt, he clearly doesn't know the game well, often relying on his friend Astral in the beginning (to which he really didn't like and would almost do the opposite of what he said). He also loses more than the previous yugioh protaganists in my opinion, and it isn't like he was just a prodigy from the start, he had to learn
When i was 13 and first started playing rocket league, i just played it with friends a lot to have fun, then over months i started playing less for fun but to play to improve which actually has kept me hard stuck champion rank, ngl trying to play to win over having fun is worse but ofc playing just to have fun is good, but it wont get you to the top, if you want fun then you gotta combine the two
I would say Gingka, but I’m a little biased as i grew up with metal fight, but Valt is definitely the best Burst protagonist. I like the more fantasy style of the Metal Fight Anime
im so happy to finally see someone did a character analysis on Burst! I was waiting for someone to do it and your video popped out and i must say this is really well made and i love the last part where you conclude Valt's character, a really great message and i might give it a try as well. I also just realized how great Valt is when i tried to rewatch S1, he really deserves the Champion Title! seeing this video makes me motivated to make one, not sure if i'll really do it but hopefully! i already decided on which character, let's say he's interesting if you look onto him a little bit more deeper. thanks for the video! Looking forward to other analysis if you made one, keep up the great work!! ✨️
Lets be honest the best antagonist in beyblade has to be Ryuga and the best protagonist has to be valt if these two were in the same show beyblade would have been legendary
I'll graduate high school next year, I remember starting watching beyblade burst right around 4th grade and I remember seeing valt becoming the world champion during my first year in middle school.
He's the #1 Blader in the world, The Legend of Legends and he earned that status through everything he did to get there. He's the world's top blader and he's more than earned the top spot. My favorite character.
This video sums up perfectly on how i feel about Valt. I confess at first i didn't like Valt and I thought he was going to be annoying for the rest of burst, but eventually he grew on me and became my favorite protagonist. And its mostly because the development he was given was realistic and refreshing. He was terrible at the game and he had to get better by working his way to the top and he did. He's definitely the best protagonist in all of beyblade. Great video! 👍
As someone who watched Metal Saga at maybe 5 years old in 2011 I first watched Burst in 2016 my earliest memories where the team tournaments in Season 1. The biggest thing I liked about Burst compared to Metal is that it's competitive on all levels. No Blader is safe and if you are the Best you have at least 2 other Blader who are just as talented, hard working, resolved, and skilled as you waiting to beat you. In Metal Ryuga was literally unchallenged which is his whole personality and why we liked him. Even at the highest level of metal you only had 1 maybe 2 people who could only be beaten by each other or no one. Compare that to Burst where any given season you always have at least 3 Bladers who could be the best. Hell in Burst Evolution an former Undefeated World Champion Blader who quit competitive Blading in the past because it wasn't fun being the best and not having a challenge, but comes to the current Meta of Blading and now he's barely even top 5 in the Blading League
This issue is that Bird is getting more and more skilled, yet the anime and manga keep making excuses to have him lose, to the point where he loses to opponents with even less experience than him.
I also love Valt, especially compared to the others because as this man said, he's really the only one to start from the ABSOLUTE bottom up to become a legend/champion.😎💯💪
Tyson will always be my favorite protagonist because just like all of us he started at square 1 went down and started again I love his personality and his love for beyblade and how he connected bonds with dragoon and Brooklyn was someone who really showed it Brooklyn was born strong but wasn’t mentality and Tyson showed him that there’s always room to grow no Matter how strong you are
I loved burst when I was younger, but after surge/sparking It just strayed WAY too far from the original season 1 sport aspect of the show. Valt was amazing in seasons 1-2 as he does mature while still being a kid. It took a while to get used to the protagonist changes throughout the seasons and I grew to like some of them but a lot of them didn't have time to develop and grow like valt. And I HATED how the title of being champion was just thrown around to other characters. Overall though Valt is easily the most developed character of show and it was great to see him grow up later throughout the seasons, great video man.
Even if I grew up with OG, I find also Valt my favorite protagonist tied with Aiger and Tyson, I feel Valt more human and also develop from a rookie to a champion.
im almost about to start six form basically last years of highschool and for me beyblade was my childhood i remember when i was 7 years old watching metal fusion the series has gone so far
your explanation about character developpement explains also why I prefer Yuma or Joey Wheeler in Yu Gi Oh, since they're not strong to begin with, and we see them improve again and again
Even before watching this video, Valt has always been my favorite character since He's just that damn cool asf I love his Bey too, genuinely peak design I miss the times I used to watch this series in disney channel
As much as I like Aiga more, this is why I don’t fight on the quality of character arcs like Valt, and to use two Yugioh examples Joey from classic Duel monsters and Yuma the protagonist of Zexal, who has nearly The same arc with a different story and universe to back up the amazing base setup for a character
Another thing I did was compare beyblade protagonists to they're parents. Once valt development is complete he very much embodies the professional demeanor of his father and the controlled temperament of his mother .

@ashhabimran239 hey, he corrected his outlook and came around to be more open-minded. It's hard to accept change when you're attatched to something, especially when you grew up looking up to that something. Calling it an elitist mindset is a bit rude.
@@yuukina2608 Even if it's a bit rude it's still not wrong though.
Dude I love ur videos, just watched the other beyblade one and they’re actually so interesting and awesome. I wanna deeper understand these stories like you do, to help make myself the best version I can be.
Thank u for ur videos and please continue to make more!
I like Tyson the most I think it's cool that he has that natural talent and love his style and personality
He's The coolest one out of the bunch!!
what talent????
Tyson is one of the greats of the beyblade franchise💪
I love Tyson!
It's a pity that people don't appreciate him as much as he deserves!
He is the best protagonist, and bladebreakers are the best team in Beyblade
Phenomenal video. Took the words out my mouth!!!
man amazing viedo, I love Valt since i was 12 and i am now 18 and still he is number 1 bey blade burst protagonist to me i mean his determination, his passion for bey blading, his relation with his friends(rantaro, shu, diago, wakiya, ken and others), his amazing relations with his partner valtreak still that moment when valtreak lowering valt's launcher and other resonance makes me emotional, and his behavior of not giving up never give in, his theme of from not knowing the fundamentals to legendary world champion wonder boy, he is not selfish and inspires others to become better in order to share amazing moments as his rivals and friends, like he has done for example aiger dante and huga, hikaro are inspired by him directly or indirectly, he never leaves any one behind he pulled his friend shu from his darkness, his amazing battles with valtreak and above all i love valt cuz he would never be upset and have fun no matter the situation is even shu, and silas and aiger destroyed valtreak and even he losses he learn from it and be victorious at the end. love for valt cuz he is the glorious bbb mcu.
This is definitely one of the reasons Burst's more grounded nature (rather than the more fantasy leaning gens before were) was very refreshing.
Unironically Valt has taught me more than any self help guru will ever be able to do so
3:57 look at Hyuga and Hikaru's record XD
Other than that, such a great video on retrospective about Valt!
Someone we see grow from a nobody to someone strong then eventually taking a side seat to let others shine as he trains and mentors them
I grew up with the Metal Saga but Burst is my favorite to date, Valt and the people around him are the reason for that.
This video bro made me subscribe. I remember Beyblade Burst when it first came out man time really flies
2016 man, feeling old 🤣
When I heard you say the thing about Cho Z coming out in middle school, I could almost fully relate to that but I started earlier, heck even I am close to graduating high school
Nice me to
same bro
gonna graduate in a month
Already liked and commented before watching cause I believe this as a fact already
🤣
I really enjoyed this video, Valt Aoi ON TOP! You earned my sub I enjoyed this video :)
I'm glad you enjoyed it. And thanks for subbing :)
@@Chilled_Blue No Problem!
what a great video.
i grew up with the first gen of beyblade. and also watched the metal gen when it finished. but i never thought about watching burst. it felt out of place, besides the openings, they are great^^
ima look into it now^^
I was wondering for years why I preferred Valt and the Burst series, and this video shed light on why I do now, also congrats on prepping for graduation
Valt’s progression is also heavily thanks to having people to continue to guide him down a right path to begin with
Shu interestingly enough when we look at it, was once someone who was weaker than even Valt and as a result Shu worked hard to managed enter the big 4 of Japan, this likely gave Valt a lot of more incentive to become a strong Blader to try and keep up with the very friend that he himself originally inspired to get stronger. Shu, and Rantaro, alongside Free are the main 3 who I believe played the biggest part in making Valt the incredible blader he is
Went from an analysis of one of the characters I enjoyed from beyblade to a deeper analysis on life, damn this video is lovely
I COMPLETELY AGREE!!!
He started off with absolutely NO skill and was such a big baby (still loved him though)
But eventually, he learned to take his anger/sadness and turn it into determination to win.
Who are love valt

Finally valt gets the attention he deserved, from the start pf the show I've always been rooting and supporting for him, go miraculous boy ;,D
This makes me glad that i started off watching. This is what started my interest in beyblade, even owning different versions of Valtryek and Spryzen
I love Valt Aoi. A great protagonist, mentor and inspiration.
They made such a dominating yet underdog and lovable character at the same time. This was my childhood.
Your goated for this AMAZING VIDEO ALREADY
When i was 13 and first started playing rocket league, i just played it with friends a lot to have fun, then over months i started playing less for fun but to play to improve which actually has kept me hard stuck champion rank, ngl trying to play to win over having fun is worse but ofc playing just to have fun is good, but it wont get you to the top, if you want fun then you gotta combine the two
I would say Gingka, but I’m a little biased as i grew up with metal fight, but Valt is definitely the best Burst protagonist. I like the more fantasy style of the Metal Fight Anime
Valt Aoi was the Ash Ketchum of Beyblade.
This was the first beyblade I watched, which was so great.
He's like Ash, Goku and Sora all in one! Not to mention he has Sonic's color scheme as well.
wait, shu wasn’t really possessed, he just tossed the fun he had for blading
Nah he was possessed
@@prince-bm4xtspyrzen
It was mixed
Valt is prove that time and effort bears fruit.
You can do it. I can do it. We can all make it if we commit.
GREAT VIDEO, also grew up with Valt and find beyblade burst to be very close to my heart. Also congrats on graduating! (soon)
im so happy to finally see someone did a character analysis on Burst!
thank u bro for supporting our awesome comunity , beyblade 😁😁✌ valts gen was fire
Valt is my favorite character, and the series is Burst Evolution. Brings me back good memories of watching this show and series.
Lets be honest the best antagonist in beyblade has to be Ryuga and the best protagonist has to be valt if these two were in the same show beyblade would have been legendary
may be if there are multi verse concepts in bey blade like in avengers we could have been seen them.
Nah, Best Antagonist is Phi or Shu
@@ImAlwaysRightttt nu uh
@@FlamingPhoenix88 uh huh
@@ImAlwaysRightttt Phi and shu were good villain but ryuga villain arc was legendary
I'll graduate high school next year, I remember starting watching beyblade burst right around 4th grade and I remember seeing valt becoming the world champion during my first year in middle school.
I don't know about the others, but I love Valt
valt and aiga r my favorite protagonist
Me to
Same some if not the best two parts of bay blade
Ginka and Valt are GOATs
I swear in a beyblade burst episode Valt had a dream where he fought Gingka.
Proud to be a Valt fan boy 💙wonder boy 💙🔥 legend of the legend 💙
Valt Aoi 💙
sheesh became the 4th most popular vid on ur channel in 5 days. I agree, Aiger is my favorite but Valt just hits different.
He's the #1 Blader in the world, The Legend of Legends and he earned that status through everything he did to get there. He's the world's top blader and he's more than earned the top spot. My favorite character.
Valt is basically the meaning of Goodsportsmanship
From being a total novice to the world champion and legend of legends, Valt inspired us all!!
Praying bird gets the same treatment hopefully cuz at the point he is I'd just give up to make sushi.
Gotta give him some time. He's still learning.
I hope he will. If not these season, then the next one. I hate how the writers use every ounce of their brain power to find a way to make him lose.
This issue is that Bird is getting more and more skilled, yet the anime and manga keep making excuses to have him lose, to the point where he loses to opponents with even less experience than him.
Finally a thumbnail that isn't Clickbait
He literally carried the show for several seasons.
I'm definitely subbing for more beyblade content
That's why Valt is my BOY, MY GUY AND MY MAN.
Even if I grew up with OG, I find also Valt my favorite protagonist tied with Aiger and Tyson, I feel Valt more human and also develop from a rookie to a champion.
Actualy i dont know why im watching this cuz valt is my childhood best coolest best buildup best friends and best everything
Damn i remember this show on disnye channel, hes like my first ever beyblade character ... like ever
im almost about to start six form basically last years of highschool and for me beyblade was my childhood i remember when i was 7 years old watching metal fusion
the series has gone so far
your explanation about character developpement explains also why I prefer Yuma or Joey Wheeler in Yu Gi Oh, since they're not strong to begin with, and we see them improve again and again
Tyson granger will always have my heart❤
I really enjoyed this video keep doing what you're doing
Love this video and can u please do a video about shu ?
Even before watching this video, Valt has always been my favorite character since He's just that damn cool asf
I love his Bey too, genuinely peak design
I miss the times I used to watch this series in disney channel
As much as I like Aiga more, this is why I don’t fight on the quality of character arcs like Valt, and to use two Yugioh examples Joey from classic Duel monsters and Yuma the protagonist of Zexal, who has nearly The same arc with a different story and universe to back up the amazing base setup for a character
Damn where the same sometimes I get angry because a lot of people said aiger is much better but I say it's valt
Another thing I did was compare beyblade protagonists to they're parents. Once valt development is complete he very much embodies the professional demeanor of his father and the controlled temperament of his mother .
