This is SO dumb! Now everybody can steal the car. I ordered 3 dog id chips and programmed my car for them. Now all 3 keys work. The original transponder went inside my dog. So every-time the dog catcher brings back my dog with a hefty bill I can sue him in court for trying to steal my car!
pointless, this isn't bypass. this is using a working transponder near the ignition coil which detects the key. I have a non functioning key to begin with. what am I supposed to do to bypass the immobilizer? That's the meaning of bypass. You just gave yourself a permanent login by using the correct one.
No you can use regular non chip spare keys now , as long as the chip stays very close to that ring where you put your key in you can use any regular cut key ,keeping that transponder Chip there vehicle thinks that a chip key is inserted when it’s actually the chip is just next to the antenna ring all the time now, I actually just went down and had two spare keys cut at true value for four bucks last night just for this purpose

these immobilizers can end up costing you a fortune when they stop working , best to get a sparky to remove them when you buy a car...
