Just found you and your circle of friends. Thank you all for the making these videos. Everything is amazing from the breathless diving and filming, to the comments and the music.
It is a Extreme Sport indeed. It is so Incredible that people can do this in the first place and that the under water world does look like cliffs. Its truly astounding. Simply Magnificent!
It's not as extreme as people think. Progression is methodical and taken step by step. As long as you do your training and keep your ego in check it is a very fun and peaceful activity. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves the water. It will enhance your everyday life in so many ways.
Thanks Guillaume, you inspire me a lot. I have been apnea since I was 19 years old, and I am very excited about your message and your experience with amniotic fluid. La Mar ... Our Utero ... thanks for your work, experience and transmission.
its nice you're starting at same age nery started i'm the same age as nery, born in same year, but i only started training 3 years ago, and alone too my breathholding static is 6min now but my experience with diving deep is rather shallow ^^; i didnt find a buddy or a coach, my deepest dive without a coach was 5m deep, following the beach floor later on, i dived 10m with a coach that was training a bunch of kids i had no luck finding a buddy or dedicated coach to accompany me to dive 30m and beyond
I wish to also add that I believe that acchasnewsongs was really asking a rhetorical question. He was simply expressing his admiration for a great athlete,Mr Guillaume Nery.In that case,I am in no danger of being off topic if I too express my admiration for the accomplishments of this great athlete. Thanks for the responses to my comment. They lead me back to here to re watch this fascinating video.
I'm not a free diver and don't know if I would ever try it, scary, scary scary, I would feel more comfortable back in Iraq than attempting to free dive. You the man brother.....
3:53 "I like freefalling -- it makes me feel like I'm flying". I was watching him do it, and it reminded me of people in those Squirrel suits that are gliding through the air.
los aros de aire‼‼ sssssssoooooookkkkkkkkkkaaaaaaaaa‼‼‼‼ es increible, eso fue lo que mas me gusto, jamas habia visto algo como eso, simplemente maravilloso
Freedivers don't need to decompress, since they only absorb the little amount of nitrogen contained in one lungful of air (unless they are doing no limits, very deep diving with fast ascent, in which case they do a decompression stop on scuba at 10m or so before coming up all the way).
First off I want to say, I love your videos. Keep me coming and Keep up the strong work! And now my question: How are u able to ascend deep with your head up with out getting a trachea squeeze? Is there a trick that you've found?
Sorry. The deepest I've ever gone is maybe three meters.Do be careful because if you push yourself to the limit of your ability to hold your breath you might black out. In that case you die if you are alone or even if you are with someone untrained as a life guard. Most people don't know what a drowning person looks like and might not realize that you are in trouble.I had this happen to me.Not as the person drowning but as the one who failed to see what was going on. Someone else made the save!
He's got a nose clip which is holding his nose. With practice your inner ear sort of gets more flexible (that's what it feels like to me) and you can equalize more easily without holding your nose.
I was wondering do you how to solve the pressure problem in ears i can't even dive to 10m i have feeling that my head is gonna explode ? Any tips to hold breath longer ?
He's not using compressed air.Just what he stored in his lungs by holding his breath. Therefore, there isn't enough nitrogen to saturate his blood and cause the bends. When he surfaces the air can only expand back to the same volume as when he originally inhaled. Therefore he can't rupture his lungs. If he was using a scuba tank the compressed air he inhaled at depth could expand to rupture his lungs and given time could saturate his blood with nitrogen. Then decompression becomes necessary.
To be in harmony with the ocean is the only way to succeed... Thank you Guillaume!
Diving is magical!
Yes, Sheto! Sorry for answering late, it's a documentary film.
Thanks Fai!!!
thank you Hafni!!!

One of the many reasons I love freediving... and Guillaume Nery ;-)
This video made me cry in tears... is it so wierd?
I think what Guillaume Nery does far better/cooler than wing suit flying, no equipment, no artifice, just man deeply embedded in nature.
What a Legend

Я не слова не понял,но получил массу удовольствия от просмотра.
Единственный вопрос который меня заинтересовал- почему я не вижу клипсы и продувок?

I'm recently doing freediving myself though i got a question: How does he go down without equalizing?
Where I should press my air? In the upper part of the body or under the stomach?
Dangerous, because of the extreme way the human body is stressed to... but nirvanic perfection when everything goes right.
fabuleux
I love free diving 😍
SEI UN GRANDE.
Beautifulㅠ
How does he goes down so easily with his lungs so full of air? I find very difficult to do it with so much air.
First off I want to say, I love your videos. Keep me coming and Keep up the strong work! And now my question: How are u able to ascend deep with your head up with out getting a trachea squeeze? Is there a trick that you've found?
Sembra un alieno in acqua 💦E ‘ SPETTACOLARE 💯💯💯💯💯💯💯🙌🙌🙌🙌🙌🇮🇹🇮🇹🇮🇹👏👏👏
Trop fort !
So how do you need to hold your air to be able to fall like that. If you keep your breath in, you are going to pop on the water surface.
I love Ball watch!
Hi, it"s amazing
information: how deep? how long under water? whats the name of the sport?
Nice vid.
yes....
Guapisimo!!!!!
So inspiring! But.. how does he "even the pressure" without holding his and blowing?
what is the exercise he is doing at the beginning of the video??
check Musimu's method, allowing water to flood the sinuses and thus no need for equalisation
just by me having that song in my ipod could inspire me to do things......where can i download?
awsome guy
how does he handle the pressure?

Понравилось Ваше описание ощущений на глубине: голубая точка - наша планена и космос.Ваши ценности в этом мире.
What equalization technique is this?
