2017 Suzuki GSX250R (LAMS) Reviewed! Jeff Ware

Suzuki have introduced to Australia the GSX250R for 2017, adding a sportsbike themed LAMS offering built around a 250cc powerplant, taken from the Inazuma 250 and further refined.
Offering an ideal learner or LAMS platform, the GSX250R offers basic specifications but is the ideal starting machine for those who don't need the maximum power to weight ratio available in this restricted segment, and is a predictable, stable and confidence inspiring machine.
Relatively restricted performance even for the LAMS category means there's enough power to everyday riding, but you miss out on that top end (that you can't legally use in Australia anyway), and it seems that Suzuki have aimed to offer a bike designed to be easy to learn on and forgiving, over one that will top the comparisons on paper.

In south africa this bike is 2017 sold as 2019 model yes you read right and the bike is R69,999 and no free gear eg no jacket or no helmet only your first service at 1000 km that's it .... the bike is way over priced eg like the 2017 gixxer 150 sf also sold as a "2019" no abs no fuel injetion (FI) R 32500
