  • I was surprised by the attention I was getting while driving the Buick Envista. Whether I was at the gym, grocery store or running errands I got compliments on the car's styling which I was also surprised about. While it's based on the same platform as the Trax, the 2 vehicles have different feature sets and styling.
    The Envista is powered by a 1.2L turbocharged engine, which is fuel efficient and surprisingly peppy for its size. It features a digital cluster screen and an 11" infotainment with wireless AppleCarPlay and Android Auto! In this video you're going to learn everything you need to know about the Envista. I cover off interior and exterior style, using the available technology, differences in trim levels and more!
    Huge thanks to GM / Buick Canada for letting me use this vehicle for the week to shoot this video. Check out the build links to the Canada and USA sites down below!

    I took out the Trax, and didn't like it from the start. Of course, I went right to the Envista, and was blown away. The vehicle you were testing is exactly what I will get - just finishing up the lease on my Equinox. Thank you very much for reaffirming my choice, and very nice job Sir!

    My husband and I test drove a Trax, and while we didn't hate it, we decided to go with the Envista for the same reason we chose an Encore over the Trax four years ago; Buick is just better put together. Quieter, too. The Trax have the active noise canceling now, so they're better than they used to be, but for the money, you can't really beat the Buick. I also think Buicks retain their value a little better than Chevys.
    Thank you for the great video!

      @@CarsWithSteve We “might” consider it. It’s not as premium as I would like, but there is no denying the value proposition this vehicle provides compared to the competition. Saw a couple more of your videos. I really enjoy the level of detail you provide in your vehicle reviews. You are doing a great job, keep up the good work! Thank you.

      It's definitely more of a entry level lux vehicle. Depending on your budget the new 2024 Lincoln Nautilus is a good option as well! Appreciate the kind words as well, always good to hear when people enjoy the detail I go into with my videos

      @@CarsWithSteve I do love the new look of the Lincoln’s. The Nautilus is a wee bit large so I am eager to see what they plan to do with the Corsica.

      The Corsair got an upgrade back in 2023 so it won't go through many big changes until probably 2026 or 2027.. But the upgrade was pretty nice!

    Beautiful on the outside, very old-fashioned on the inside. The interiors do not do justice to its new sporty design, it seems like you are inside a 2015 Chevrolet somewhere

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  หลายเดือนก่อน +4

      Shots fired!! Haha, they could have done a bit nicer of an interior but when you compare it to the Chevrolet equivalent it's better quality for sure. Tough to command Cadillac quality with the price of the Envista too

      If you're speaking about the infotainment center of this vehicle, it didn't exist in any 2015 Chevrolet you're thinking of.

    I love the Envista exterior styling but ended up buying a 2024 Chevrolet Trax because the interior looks and feels a bit more lively. Plus - Buick needs more masculine color options for the Envista.

    Engine block and no awd...ok

    • @CarsWithSteve
      @CarsWithSteve  2 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      AWD isn't really necessary unless you live somewhere that gets a ton of snow during the winter or you ideally want to do a bit of light off-roading. FWD is still ok with winter tires

    • @craig5042
      @craig5042 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      @@CarsWithSteve Well said. I grew up with rear-wheel drive American cars in the 1970s. In Rochester to Buffalo entire Northeast we all bought snow tires. I drive a 9 yr old Camry with Blizzaks. No need for AWD or 4WD unless going off-road or live on or use dirts roads in winter. Many people up here just use All-Season tires all year long that have FWD cars with no problems.
