Great review. Just replaced my dying '11 Mercedes CL550 with this exact trim level in the Ocean Blue color and I'm truly loving it. No regrets. Shockingly great looks and features for the asking price.
Like always great review Mike! Buick is certainly going in a different direction now and I’m liking it. Might actually have to buy one of these, they’re an absolute steal! I personally like the ST trim with the black accents.
I have seen all those cars you mentioned and will put my Envista up against them any time! I wanted a car,not a bulky SUV. It seems I have the best of both. Easy to drive, acceleration fine. I love it.
Ugh i wamna win the lottery so badly dude lol. I wouldnt own a single supercar, my driveway would just have 10 different regular cars because i like regular cars 😂
Very informative! My daughter is looking at ordering a ST trim one at the moment. Wanted more information about the Watts rear end and if it is worth the extra cost as you have to get it in a package with the moon roof. At just under 6’ my hair was touching the head liner with the moon roof. But at 5’5” that’s not an issue for my daughter.
I have a video of the ST trim if you want to check it out. The upgraded rear suspension helps with handling and noise. If I remember correctly it also is included with the larger wheel option.
living in nyc with gas prices high, i'm considering trading my FX35 for this.... less power but i'm not racing anyone. Just want a comfy ride and reliable... how are these in the reliability debt or are they too new to tell?
Mike, I always enjoy your videos. As for the car, it looks very like “The Jetsons” 1950’s idea of what “futuristic” was supposed to be, at least to me, and also a lot of hard plastic on the interior, sadly.
Beautiful car but it is also a throw away. If you absolutely need a car now …..not want a car this or the Trax might be a good option. But due to that weed whacker engine and the wet belt timing system I would be on pins and needles keeping this thing past the 3 year warranty unless you buy an extended warranty which defeats the purpose of saving money. Throw a 2.5 four cyl engine in this thing, keep the 6 speed, add a timing chain and this car would be a long term keeper. Such a same GM cuts so many corners and cheaps out their product….which is why so many of us buy Honda, Toyota, and Mazda.
Buick did a great job of making a budget car look like a million bucks. People are going crazy over these. However, I sat in one recently and the cheapness, which you pointed out throughout the video, was very obvious. The seats were uncomfortable, door panels not very nice, and a number of other things. I get the great price is what lends itself to the cheap materials, but I couldn't live with this for very long. Have to pass.
I have the buick lacrosse 4 cylinder and we love it but 3 cylinders??? That means above 85 mph you will start getting rattle and vibration.. and just imagine vacation trips ?.? Uphills ? I mean that's a tiny engine
Buick dares to put the Avenir name on a vehicle that has no dual-zone climate, no power passenger seat ( or cooled seats), no rear vents, soft rear doors, or homelink? Forget entry-level when "Avenir" is applied. The Asia market get most of these features, and more!
@@djplonghead5403 If you don't have a lead foot, you'll get considerably better mileage in this car. I've had mine for a couple of months, and I've been averaging 38-39 mpg over the past 450 miles and lifetime (nearly 3,000 miles in total) it's at nearly 36 mpg. Surprisingly it does better on country roads with occasional stop signs and varying speed limits than it does on the highway with cruise control set. I usually get around 35 highway and 39 on country roads. City-wise, I'm not sure how it does with a lot of stop and go.
Give it to GM to not go all the way out even though these are selling well because lately I been seeing a lot of them on the road i wish they would have went a lot HARDER and not cut corners in some areas if GM would stop trying to be so cheap they wouldn't be able to keep vehicles on the lots they'll be flying off lots its cool but GM has too much money to keep "playing it safe" all the time after all these years GM still trying to be conservative while other manufacturers are "Wowing" customers with innovative and exiting designs have y'all seen what Mazda Kia and Hyundai has been doing with their new models lately? Just purchased the exact year, make, model and color! Buick has done an awesome job!!!
Awesome review. I have the exact car. Could not love it anymore!!!

These are hard to find in Texas, seems like all the ones landing at dealerships already have a deposit on them.
Ditto that.
Thanks for the great review sir! It’s quite thorough and the best Envista review I’ve seen thus far.
Nice job Mike & this will be my daily vehicle.
Just got the 2025 Avenir on Saturday 8/24/24. So far I love. Improvements could be the AC system to dual zone so people in the back can adjust the air
You should see if you can get a refreshed Envion Avenir. Envista is nice but that refresh in the envision is nice!!!
Nice easygoing review. And that pointer is too cute for it’s own good lol.

What cars did I mention? I don't remember doing that :)
They should make a larger model with other engine options etc. This is a good looking vehicle. Even a V4 sounds so much better
Excellent video Mike.
Very Very noisey, like driving on highway with window down. Road noise from tires very very loud?
Saw the beautiful Watts linkage in the opening shot. Gets the Hemond Seal of Approval.
I love it, and bought an Avenir ...
Considering it, does it feel slow, though?
great job on the review!
Well better than PRC EV cars indeed

Love 💗 the new emblem 🔱😻.
I believe you will find that the fuel door locks when the other doors are locked.
Not on this vehicle.

That's a pretty snazzy car for the price point 😀.
Excellent 👌👍 job Buick.
Does the adaptive cruise control stops the Envista when it follows a vehicle that stops or disengages below 25 mph like some others?
There's two types of the white paint. Wonder which one this is

Wow thank you
How did I miss that. @@MikesCarInfo

Mike would you be comfortable driving this vehicle on a vacation from Texas to Michigan?
It would not be my first choice for that type of driving.

Sales goal. 12 a year. 🎉
They've already sold over 24,000 Envistas to date this year.
Why don’t they put ac vent in the back
Doesn't matter. The AC will likely cool the entire car.
How much

The divorced tail lamps , like kia's , are unsafe and unattractive. As well, it needs a rear wiper for snow, etc
Come up with another phrase besides, “Looking pretty good!” Also, you co-opted the yellow pointer from Sarah-n-tuned. 😡
@stephensangalli Everyone knows I am the original 👉 user. Except for you, I guess :)

This has an engine of a lawnmower. I took mine back after 2 weeks.
What car did you replace it with?

What a slug. Fred Flintstone's car has more HP using his feet. 137 hp at 5000 RPM 😂😂😂
It is not a fast vehicle but it is enjoyable to drive for the most part.
I just wish it would get better mpg for 137 hp.
I purchased the 2024 Buick Avenir with the maroon exterior and gray interior and I love every thing about this auto! I call it my baby Cadillac! LOL!
