Nice one on the Crown Royal bag. Crown was first bottled in Canada in 1939. The ubiquitous purple bag has been around ever since. Crown came to the US in 1964. In 2018 through the Purple Bag Project, Crown Royal began sending small care packages to military personnel overseas. Over 1M bags have been distributed as of August 2023. The bags are excellent for goggles and rifle optics because the cloth is the perfect softness to wipe lenses. My final whiskey and my last shot was of Crown Royal in 2018. Five years ago, last week. My two go-to’s for hard liquor were Patron tequila and Crown Royal whiskey. Do I miss the bags? Sure. Do I miss the drink? Never.
The toilet paper was called John Wayne. The say the paper was named after him be thhee toilet paper was rough, tough and wont take sshit off no one....hahaha Good job young man. You're doing a great job
Those alarm clocks were sold up through the mid 70’s but no Platoon Leader in the entire US military would allow one in the bush. The bells ding at inopportune times and because they are mechanical any winding remaining in the spring will emit a partial alarm. Best kept behind the wire
Most of it you can find on Ebay for the general items and razor, the hygiene items are harder to find, and mainly in antique stores, the best place to find personal items is family members who were around then (this is all just my personal experience, so it might be easier or harder to find some things.)
Good job bro
Thanks, man

Great work! I am starting to collect for an early war Army impression and this gives me some ideas for items.

We did not have sun screen, we got sun broiled and burned.
One question, Where can you find most of these items?
And also you got some great music playing in the background ain't nothing that can beat the classics!
