you know, deep down in your heart and brain, this verdict was 100% bs and everyone was brainwashed by biased documentary.
      lets pretend the following.
Beata was able to successfully convince the hospital to give Maya the potentially lethal dose of ketamine that was requested.
The ketamine ends up killing Maya.
The Kowalski's end up suing the hospital for prescribing a lethal dose of ketamine.
in this pretend scenario, be honest, who would you back in the lawsuit, the Kowalski's or the hospital?
The standards you guys are holding the hospital to are unreal. Its literally a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation.
Plus, Maya getting off the Ketamine appears to have improved her life drastically.
Everything points to the hospital being correct and the Kowalski's being wrong.

And she was right - not in the sense that she should have died, she absolutely should NOT have and she deserves to be with her family today - but she was right in the sense that not even a week after her death the hospital finally let Maya see a specialist that confirmed her diagnosis that her parents had told the hospital she had this entire time and she was finally released to her dad. They really were just waiting for her to dissapear in some shape or form. And through her sacrifice her daughter is now safe and at home where she belongs even if that means she cant be there.

This is NOT the norm behavior of hospitals! This verdict is huge because it does not happen this way usually. There are many many checks and balance in place and hospitals/Healthcare work EXTREMELY hard to do no harm. It is not in the nature of the employees in Healthcare largely and does NOT represent the majority of providers who are not only unlikely to do harm but would never ever do so and would stand with anyone who had harm done! Our Healthcare providers from techs / volunteers/nursing/ drs/ housekeeping/ ext are there for the right reasons! No one goes into Healthcare to harm people outright unless they are psychopaths. Amd if you think that represents the majority of Healthcare, you are mistaken
