    I really like my tt01e and it's doing well for my first ever iconic Cup series. 1 thing I did to give it better traction coming out of the corners is to pack the front diff with grease. It doesn't matter what you use as long as it is stiffer than the rear diff. It just gives you that edge pulling out of the corners. Well worth doing

    Will these hop up parts make the car faster?

    I also have 61T/19T, if i change IT to 55T/25T does IT accelerate faster or does IT have a higher top speed?

      @pubgghost07 ปีที่แล้ว

      Higher top speed less acceleration and torque

    I have recently got my hands on a TT01 and started upgrading parts, starting with all ball bearings to replace the plastic bushings. I noticed there is a plastic bushing next to your spur gear, then ball bearing towards the center drive shaft. Is this supposed to be replaced when replacing all plastic bushings? I was a little confused when I saw it....I noticed Tamiya ball bearing 1280 is pretty close to the size and the circumference looks the same.

      Yeah 😊. Hopefully we'll find a little longer open stretch of road than last time 👍.

    Hi, nice video. Does the motor have any movement once mounted as the motor mount isn’t secured to the chassis?

    Do you use after market shaft? Or does it come with tt01?

      Hi there,
      This is the one we fitted: wheelspinmodels.co.uk/i/156766.
      If you keep an eye out on the RC Empire website (www.rcempire.co.uk) we'll have them available there too soon 👍

    I have the carbon fiber metal version and keep blowing out the spur and pinion, any advice?

    • @RCEmpire_HQ
      @RCEmpire_HQ  3 ปีที่แล้ว

      Hi Ja,
      Hmm, that's odd. Was it ever working, or something that's just started recently? Could be the chassis is twisted after a crash or something causing miss-alignment. But that would have to be pretty extreme, you'd prob be able to see that.
      Also, have you got the motor mounted in the correct holes of the motor mount? I know we've got that wrong before lol.

    Hello. Do you know if the parts for the TT01 same as TB01? 😊

    I thought you weren’t allowed to run the speed gears. What am I missing?

    What are the difference of your rear tyres and your front one?

    • @RCEmpire_HQ
      @RCEmpire_HQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Ah, no reason for the difference at all haha. The're were both just a set of super cheap Absima basher tires. The rims on one set cracked so I put the others on. Although, the grooved ones you can see are really terrible for grip 😄

    Hi. Please can you help me. I have a TT01 same as yours. And I have got the stock Tamiya TT01 torque tuned motor. I tried to do the upgrade that you have done with a 55 tooth spur gear and a 25 tooth pinion gear but I can’t get the gears to mesh or even touch. Please can you tell me what i am doing wrong. Thanks very much for your help.

      Check if the 2 mounting screws are in the correct position according to the number of teeth.

    Do you grease the gears?

    • @RCEmpire_HQ
      @RCEmpire_HQ  5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No, I just leave the spur and pinion dry. I find they end up collecting grit and dirt if i oil or grease them.

    Very nice..The black gears are stronger than the white ones also

    Do they sell a metal spur gear my brushless is eating the plastic one up

    • @RCEmpire_HQ
      @RCEmpire_HQ  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Really! That's odd. I would have thought it would be able to handle it. Actually I'm not sure if they do steel ones. I imagine you'd then need a hardened pinion too. We'll keep a look out and let you know.

      Hi, yes I have seen one fellow from the U.S on eBay sells them for about 30$ each...steel spur in 3 sizes. But how is steel on steel? Lots of noise and then you have to Grease them i think

      th-cam.com/video/07CNI9a86_o/w-d-xo.html How is it that so many have problems stripping the spurs, in this vid i read the explanation...the rear bevel gear has some play and that causes the problem?!! He talks about “check your tub”.
