How to make a Pet Bandana- DIY Tutorial

This is a great beginner project that requires a minimal amount of fabric and some basic sewing supplies. You could even make this by hand if you need/want to. I have made dozens of these for my Daisy and for my friends puppies. She is a hit at Pet Smart when she dons her seasonal bandanas. I also have an embroidery machine and make them personal by adding their name. Sew simple..so sweet..so thanks a million!

Hi Vanessa.... I picked up today some cute Valentine theme fabric at Wal-Mart today. I'm all set to make my Lil (8 Lbs) Puppy a bandana to wear tomorrow on ♥Valentines ♥Day ♥... But as I watch your Tut again to start I realize you don't mention how you took the measurements for your pets. Need a Lil guidance if you Pretty Pwwease :O) ♥
I go by the measurement of the collar. The size of the bandana is gonna depend on how you want it to look on the dog. I dont take an actual measurement of the dog instead it's your preference to decide if you want it to be wider or shorter on the dog in relation to their head, etc. For a little puppy I would start off an inch or so smaller on each dimension from the one I used for the medium dogs.
