The stone with the pie plate for baking- Brilliant! Search u-tube for a pie pan dutch oven using 3 pie plates. I learned to fly fish from a fiend just like you, He was catching fish while I was snagging logs with my spin gear. Fast forward 30 years, I haven't picked up my spin gear since that trip.
It's so enjoyable to watch how the team works together to get to the specified location and enjoy the place so freely but yet so closely bonded together. It's a wonder how you trained your pets to be like there are? Great vlog on the trip by the way!

I'm back...congrats Steveb on the trout on the FRod. You set the hook like a pro. The places you fish enable more action(in would believe, due to lack of people who visit). FR can be used on all fish(fresh and salt). Trout are the most challenging. My friend and I used the slogan, take, play and land. Just to get the trout to TAKE the fly is the biggest challenge/accomplishment. Playing the fish is given to many factors, several of which you can't control. Landing the fish is a bonus. Good luck and fish a lot. You had some good supervisors watching your technique.😎🐕🐐

I bought a custom fly-rod a few years back, added a nice ultra-light reel to it. I love catching trout on ultra-light tackle. So much more fun. Love that variation of your whack-a-tube cinnamon rolls. Gonna have to try that on one of my adventures.
You'll love it rat dog but be careful not to put quite so much cream. Well, at least don't put any more cream than I did or it may boil over and make a mess. Tasted great either way 👍👌😎

Nice video. You should do a gear video showing everything in all the packs, your backpack and the goats and dogs. It looks like so much in all the bags. Lay it all out and let us watch you pack it all up, or let us watch you unpack everything. That would be better.

That last cast at about 32:25 (I think) was pretty darn nice. Different from the bubble/fly combo...same coolness. Three quarters+ of that cinnamon roll concoction was impressive !
I use a iPhone 13 Pro Max with filmic Pro, dual Rode Stereo Pro microphones going through a Rode AI-micro interface. That way I have a very portable rig with the camera being waterproof and having a very long battery life. Perfect for adventure vlogging 👍
Hey I'm really digging the 🐐 goats just a thought ( u could have put the eggs on top of the rolls)! Like the fish shots as well. I like to fish just don't get out very much.
And again...Steve, always return the fly line to the right index finger of the hand holding the rod. It enables tight control and enhances hook sets. Keeping the line open to the first guide like you did in the AM sequence will reduce your effectiveness.

That last cast at about 32:25 (I think) was pretty darn nice. Different from the bubble/fly combo...same coolness. Three quarters+ of that cinnamon roll concoction was impressive !

I use a iPhone 13 Pro Max with filmic Pro, dual Rode Stereo Pro microphones going through a Rode AI-micro interface. That way I have a very portable rig with the camera being waterproof and having a very long battery life. Perfect for adventure vlogging 👍

And again...Steve, always return the fly line to the right index finger of the hand holding the rod. It enables tight control and enhances hook sets. Keeping the line open to the first guide like you did in the AM sequence will reduce your effectiveness.
