Fowler only has 1.5 M subscribers, and he's been doing this a hell of a lot longer than you. That says it all. I bet you never thought you'd have nearly 800K followers. It's awesome that you stuck with it. Because you're literally the only one that "Lives" a Wildlife style of existence. If anyone's still wondering, that old car is a Buick... '66 or '67... not sure which model since the Canadian versions sometimes had different names and such... but the aluminum brake drums are the tell. As bad as it looks, it might actually be worth something since it's a 2 door hardtop.

    • @Ed-ty1kr
      @Ed-ty1kr 5 หลายเดือนก่อน +2

      I will go with 68' Grand Sport 400, judging by the missing big block that someone dragged up that hill, and the sqare brake vents on that front fender. In any case the body lines ID that as a Buick GS with the downward sloping door crease, and window outlines.

Greg, I think when you are doing these you should bring a few backup items with you, like some food and water backup communications, and a couple of other things. just because you are showing us what to do doesn't mean you have to take a chance on not making it out alive. no need to put yourself through this every time, we will still learn. we are getting older and you never know what can happen when putting yourself through this stuff. we may handle it fine when we were younger but there is many things that can happen when we get older. protect yourself!

    Dear Greg, even if your lighter is empty, you still have a chance for a little flame. Remove the metalpiece from your lighter, and warm it up in your hand for a while. Then press the gas permanently with your left thumb, and ignite with the other hand. Now you can see at minimum a little blue flame, and you can start a fire.Greetings from the Black Forest

    Hi Greg,
    Greetings from "down under" [Australia]
    I cant thank you engh for these fantastic videos you put out. Honestly, i feel like i'm out there with you! I am physically unable to do so myself (which is ok we all have things to deal with) so watching your adventures (I'm mad about the bush, just love it so much) gives me great joy.
    Thanks...from a fellow bushlover...🎉

    Absolutely one of the best! I learned from the best..... My Native American Grandfather . Not bragging just fact's. I can find water where most never could, I can track an ant over a rock, set a snare, fish, use a bow, and dress a buck with the best of them .not afraid to break a nail, as my Grandfather always told me I was born with a knife in my hand.

    What a great idea to just go out into the woods not so far and share and show us your survival skills , love your fort , looks so warm and cozy , watching from Volos Greece in my comfy warm bed , it's pretty chilly here at Greece , you know it could be helpful if you mentioned that wherever you intend to go always fill your pockets with goodies especially raisins etc etc , be waiting for part 2 , keep safe you and Flynn

    Ya’ll have great resources to survive. Mushrooms, wild edible plants, flat rocks to stack. If you had the time/energy, you could build a small permanent shelter from stone, pines for roof rafters, etc. Ya’ll probably have clay to make mud, rocks to make a chimney, etc. love this content Greg.

    Great video.
    It’s great that you keep referencing that survival situations are not some comfortable cosy experience.
    I make belt sized survival kits for a hobby and it never ceases to amaze my how some people are under the impression that they can live ‘comfortably’ for long periods of time with these type of kits.
    It’s just not realistic. They are to give to the absolute barest chance of staying alive.
    Arguably, it’s your backpack that is really your true survival kit. While it’s great to have some things that can help you start a fire etc, experience far outweighs kit in my opinion.
    Greet video-always straightforward and realistic.

    Oh, super cool… So glad to come across you on TH-cam. I remember you from alone. I grew up in Brooklyn New York, but now at age 57. I wish I had access to camping an off grid living when I was younger because I would’ve loved it. I have a little third of an acre, but it’s not off the grid but I do the best I can. Man, this is the lifestyle I would live if I had at all to do all over again.
