Elaine fantastic! Most Brazilians are unaware, don't imagine that there is this artist, Eliane Elias, an incredible talent, with an admirable repertoire of Brazilian popular music.
I love how she sings, too. Rarely is that good a jazz pianist also that good a vocalist. Not to mention she speaks French, Portuguese, English.... She's also married to the bass player, Marc Johnson.
I love music, but not just any old kind of music. Something with substance, a kind of polyrhythmic vibe, that moves the soul. Thanks for sharing this masterpiece
Eliane is a great jazz/bossa pianist and anyone should check her compositions like her albums the Three Americas, she later started to sing, she is a talented singer but an incredible pianist and i prefer when she focus on the piano. She release a album dedicated to billl evans which is fantastic tribute. Her albums Dreamer contains jewels like "Baubles Bangles and beads" (probably another tribute to Bill Evans). I like too her album "Paulista" .... Hoping to hear her live in Europe some day.
Love the clothes pegs holding the manuscript in place…I too use this system, the only thing we have in common. She is of course beautiful and a master!
